Monthly Rentals in Auvers

I absolutely loved this house belonging to Edith and Christophe. they were extremely responsive to any queries and I was welcomed by George who was very kind and helpful! I loved the house and peace and quiet. I made fires in the chimney and took walks along the country lane. I could say hello to the cows. so lovely! I stayed a month and wish I could have stayed longer. also it is really in the middle of the fight for Normandy and there are many museums worth visiting. I highly recommend this house.

What can I say about the apartment except that it's perfect in every way! The accommodation is perfectly equipped with all comforts: with a choice for children rather small umbrella bed with sheets and pillows or the single bed which avoids taking the umbrella bed when the children are small for example. Also available is a hair dryer and even a straightener, which shows the level of equipment in the accommodation. And then the must-have of the apartment for me is the really great washer-dryer when you need to wash on site! The hosts are very welcoming and give all the details about the rental (location, parking, etc.) before arriving. I didn't even have to ask anything. We will return to this accommodation with great pleasure during a future stay in Sainte Mère Église!

The welcome and the house are full of charm. Isabelle was pleasant, with a real sense of good manners. Everything was done to make us feel comfortable... we received cookies and a bottle of cider, which is rare! The house is true to what is advertised: it is clean, very pretty, and without a doubt, it was even better than in the photos. Even if there is no TV or that sort of thing, you don't get bored because it's in the heart of equally cute and picturesque places. The city center of Valognes is not so far away and there are still many small shops available: supermarkets, bakeries, butchers, greengrocers, pharmacies, cafes, restaurants, a bookstore... and the Friday morning market, great too. Valognes is full of cute places that we were able to discover thanks to a set of small hiking maps of the area, kindly left by our hosts... Feel free to use them!

The little house has truly everything one needs for an independent and happy stay. Jean-Baptiste is a great host who ensures that all your needs are met, and his family (and dog) were all wonderfully welcoming, took the time to visit with me and made me feel at home on their property nestled in the Normandy countryside.
