House holiday rentals in Avalon

We had a wonderful visit at Mai's place. The kitchen had everything necessary to prepare our meals and we appreciated the amenities stocked (salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, etc). Rooms were as described and we found it very spacious for a family of 6 adults and 3 young children. Our family really enjoyed the outdoor space, especially the Koi pond sitting area. The pool was very clean and we all enjoyed our time there, especially the kids. We made use of the BBQ and had no problems getting it started. Our only suggestion would be to update the instructions for the pool as it appears the host controls this via wifi and that is not stated in the instructions for use. Overall, we loved our stay and would not hesitate to visit again! Thank you to Mike & Mai for promptly responding to any of inquiries during the stay.

This place is definitely a 10/10 !! It’s so close to everything and the pool was very nice to have especially having kiddos. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. The house was super clean and the beds were so comfortable!! Super clean home, and they stock the home with everything you will need, and even provide pool towels. This is the best home we stayed in that’s close to LA and the surrounding cities !! 1000% recommended!! Thank you Moana and Raphael for hosting us !! Definitely will be back !!

From check in to check out the host clearly communicated everything we needed to know. The place was stunning! We had plenty of room to relax and unwind after a day at the beach. The place is so comfortable and had everything we needed to just enjoy our stay. We highly recommend the place to anyone else.

Had a wonderful stay at DJ and Brandee’s home last weekend while my mom and I were in town for the Surf City Half Marathon! The house is gorgeous and comfortable with fantastic amenities - everything was as described. It’s a short walk to downtown and was perfect location for us to get to the starting line. The pool and their big comfy couch were perfect for our post-race recovery. The kitchen is awesome; I loved cooking in it. DJ and Brandee were fantastic hosts — always responsive and kind. Really appreciated their hospitality and highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. Thank you!!!

This house was amazing! Even better than the pictures! Dimitris was great with communication and providing suggestions for the area. Sean (co-host) was on site when we arrived and walked us through everything in the home. The entire stay he was just a text or phone call away and it was great! Only slight issue was the previous guest smoked in the home so the floors were a little sticky and dirty from whatever the cleaners used to get rid of the smoke odor. Besides that, the place was clean and perfect! They even offered a bottle of wine for the floor troubles (thank you!) - we enjoyed the pool the 1st day we were there and did not need the heater. But we felt it the days after, and I recommend purchasing the heating if you plan to use it during this time of year. (we only used the pool the 1st as we were out exploring the other days). This was a great stay and highly recommend!! Thank you Dimitris & Sean!!

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer’s beautiful home during our Disneyland trip! Our family of six felt completely at home — the space was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. After long, fun-filled days at the park, it was such a relief to come back to comfy beds and a peaceful atmosphere. The kids loved swimming in the clean pool and playing with the toys, and we really appreciated having the option to cook and eat right at home. The backyard was especially serene and beautifully maintained. Jennifer was incredibly responsive and provided clear, helpful instructions throughout. We would absolutely recommend her place to any family looking for a comfortable, welcoming stay!

Shayla’s plan was perfect for my family and I. We loved that everything was provided such as an abundance of towels/beach towels and kitchen supplies. Check in was really easy and communicating with Shayla was easy as well. We would stay at her place again!

Everything was great, cute house with all household items, and very convenient for us to go around the island.

We hosted our daughter's bachelorette weekend here! It was comfy and really cute! It's super close to Vons and restaurants and pier. Great location and property management. We arranged a professional photos shoot of the bridal party and bride-to-be and the adorable porch made for great shots! We accidentally locked ourselves out and had to call after hours and someone came right over to give us an extra key. Note: there is a lock box on the door, put the key back in lock box or ask for extra key to keep with you because the front door automatically locks after closing it.

Everything was great! Host was responsive. The house was cute. Had a great time!

We enjoyed our stay for the second year in a row at this residence. We appreciated the quick response by the host when the refrigerator/freezer was not working upon arrival, and we came back from the beach to find it functioning properly. The street where it is located is generally quiet other than the noise from golf carts which is to be expected in Avalon. We realized the A/C was a wall unit, so we are not sure how effective it would have been at cooling the entire home, but we did not need it due to the perfect weather. We also greatly appreciated that the host comped us 2 nights from last year's booking when we had to evacuate the island early due to a tropical storm (extremely rare event!). Finally, everything is completely walkable in town, which is part of its charm, so the home was perfect for accessing the beach and restaurants while giving us a little space from the busy main walkway/beach. We will definitely consider renting this unit again when we next return to Avalon.

2nd year staying in this house. Great location, convenient walking distance to everything in Avalon, great to have all the kitchen tools to cook for the family and vons is only half a block away. Friendly, responsive host. Felt right at home, fully intend to stay here again next time I’m back, would easily recommend to anyone else.

Our family enjoyed the place, the golf cart was a huge benefit.

We had a great stay. The place is close to the waterfront and even closer to the market. All 8 of us fit nicely. The beds, pillows and sheets could be improved but overall it was a great stay.

The house, cleanliness, and location are great!! The place has FAR more family and kid-friendly amenities than they mentioned. We especially loved the toys like giant jenga and wooden connect four. The room with the Murphy bed and washer/dryer has space for a pack n play, which was great!! The house is on a decent hill, but it’s nice to have the exercise and really most of Avalon is pretty hilly. The location along the boardwalk is great though!

We loved how walkable the place was to all the restaurants and eatery. Only thing is that the linens looked a bit dirty when we first got in— not sure if they are just old linens that are worn out or unwashed. But it still wasn’t a problem. We managed fine. We also weren’t aware that this place had no AC, but the place had windows we could open for a fresh breeze and that was suffice. Overall, great location and great stay!

Our first Thanksgiving friends gathering, the house is very comfortable, tidy and clean, and the items are fully prepared, friends eat and talk on the balcony, enjoy the warm sunshine and the ray of the sea, feel the beauty of life, the location is unique, walking, activities are extremely convenient, next time will definitely come again

351D is a very nice cottage. Has heating and AC. Well done kitchen and bathtub in entry bathroom. Could use larger TV's love the decor and the stained glass. could use a laundry area. nice walkable location. don't need a golf cart. love the hand held shower heads. the master bed is fairy comfortable and warm blankets. thanks much. one of the nicest units on a quiet street.

I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to stay on the island! It’s in a perfect location, easy walk to the airbnb from the ferry, 1 min (if that) to the vons, and quiet at night even during a holiday weekend. The airbnb itself is excellent, huge living room and dining area, great kitchen that had everything we needed. It fit 6 people perfectly with its 3 bedroom and 2 baths. Super comfortable stay, communicative host, I will definitely be staying here again! Even let us checkout an hour later
