Family-friendly holiday rentals in Avize

We hebben genoten van de vakantie. Het was een hele fijne plek die aan onze verwachtingen heeft voldaan! We boften met het weer, want we waren veel buiten! De tuin is super fijn en alle voorzieningen zijn top! Het is zeker een aanrader! Zeker om nog een keer terug te komen!

The house was exactly what we hoped for. Peaceful in the countryside yet close to the city to see the sights. We had a bit of a snafu upon check-in but Julie was quick to find a solution that worked well for our family. I wish we had an opportunity to have a champagne tasting but the timing never worked out. However, Julie provided a bottle that was divine... Thanks, Julie!

We hebben een super goed verblijf gehad bij Jean-Michel, aan alles was gedacht. Niks was teveel, Jean-Michel heeft zelfs geholpen onze auto vrij te maken van kalk die we tijdens onze trip op de auto hadden gekregen. Ook voor de hond was er een bal en speeltje. Voor onze baby een zwembandje, stoel, bedje en badje. Uiteraard ook genoten van het zwembad. Echt een aanrader.

We had the most fabulous stay at le chalet, a beautifully crafted house that just keeps on giving, form the view to the hot tub, you simply couldn’t ask for a better spot to stop and relax for a few days. Delphine was fantastic! Hospitable to the maximum and available to help with any request we had. I could go back again and again and I certainly will be doing that. Quite simply put, a showstopper not to be missed! Thank you Delphine for the most wonderful stay.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour entre amis dans cette magnifique propriété. La situation le long de la Marne est très agréable pour se promener et très paisible également. Le logement est très bien, avec beacuoup de charme et la litterie parfaite. Les instructions qui nous ont été fournies étaient très claires et Mathilde a toujours répondu rapidement à nos demandes. Bon à savoir, il y a des commerces (boulangerie et super marché) dans le village à 800m. Je recommande cet endroit.

The place is beautiful and just what we needed at the end of a long trip. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare a meal. The location made it walkable to nearly anywhere in the village. Host was very responsive to questions. There was plenty of space for 6 adults to be comfortably. The only downside was the one toilet. We might have overlooked that in the listing but thought it would contain two toilets since it has two showers. The listing said 'Hot Tub' but there is not a hot tub on site; however, this seemed like a translation issue from French to English. Would defiantly stay again in i was in the area.

Nous avons passé un super séjour entre amis. Laurence et sa famille ont été accueillants et disponibles pour assurer un séjour de qualité. Le lieu se prête parfaitement à la petite retraite au calme que nous recherchions. Je recommande, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Mention spéciale pour les pizzas maison proposées par son fils. On a adoré.

Que dire? Brigitte est une hote exceptionelle...Superbe maison pour passer un we en famille, propre, grandes chambres et salles de bain moderne. Encore merci Brigitte pour ton accueil. Nous reviendrons😁

Place was central to the cathedral and the city center!

We had a lovely stay at Ludivine’s place for a girls trip to Reims. The location is great, central but quiet. It’s very spacious and nicely decorated. The communication with the host was very smooth and we had good recommendations from the host as well. I’d highly recommend Ludivine’s place if you wanna stay in the center of Reims.

Nadange was the perfect host. She gave really clear instructions about finding the apartment and gave advice after I had booked the wrong train line to get to the city. She also provided some great recommendations for restaurants and champagne houses which was appreciated. The apartment was exactly as described and beautiful. Very close to the train station (Reims Ville), food, shops, and the Cathedral (a must see) is one minutes walk away. Nadange also went the extra mile, she had noticed that temperatures were predicted to get warmer and she turned up with a fan for the bedroom, which was really appreciated. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend the apartment and Nadange as a super host!

Wij boekten de accomodatie van Sandrine voor twee nachten. Hautvillers is een prachtig dorpje en het huisje lag centraal tussen heel wat champagneboeren en 's morgens is het 3 minuten wandelen naar de bakker. Het terras is zalig om 's morgens van het ontbijt te genieten terwijl je het uitzicht bewondert. Ik zou iedereen aanraden hier te komen! Wij komen zeker nog terug 🤩

Logement agréable et situé en centre-ville. L'accueil était bien, les informations étaient claires !

Christian est un hôte très accueillant. Le gîte est coquet, propre et bien fourni en équipements (ustensiles de cuisine, essuies, linge de lit...). Nous recommandons ce logement à 200%

Prachtige locatie en ideaal voor met kinderen! Een binnenzwembad is beschikbaar maar ook petanque, trampoline, badminton, tafelvoetbal, tafeltennis,.. Er is geen airco aanwezig en door de paarden en de warmte waren er ook veel vliegen. Ideale locatie dicht bij Reims! Het enig negatiever puntje is dat er een blaadje lag waarin gevraagd wordt zelf te kuisen indien er geen fee voor werd betaald. Daardoor vonden we het niet zo proper gezien mensen zelf (meer oppervlakkig) kuisen (vb. Keukenkasten, tegels naast de wc,…). Maar toch zouden we direct terugkomen door de ideale locatie met kinderen!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le gîte de Sandrine et son mari. Nous avons été très bien accueilli. Le logement est très chaleureux, décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Ma fille a été ravie de pouvoir profiter de la salle de jeux. Avoir une salle de bain dans chaque chambre est un vrai plus et la literie est très confortable. la piscine est très agréable et propre , nous avons apprécié l'organisation proposée par les hôtes pour la partager équitablement entre les deux gîtes. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir pour profiter à nouveau de tous ces points positifs !

We had a good time here. The house is large and secluded, a bit aged but he kitchen is nicely equipped with all the things you need for having large dinners with friends and family. I recommend booking it during the summer season, because with the thick stone walls, I guess the house stays quite refreshing for a while... also the pool and large outdoor area are very nice to use. We'd be very happy to come back next time we are in the region!

Wat een prachtige locatie! Het is een uniek en karakteristiek pand, waar wij ons meteen heel prettig voelden. Het heeft een heerlijke tuin met privé zwembad, dat is pas genieten. Ons dochtertje, van net 1 jaar, kon in de tuin leren lopen 🙂 De accomodatie ligt in het kleine dorpje Roucy, waarvandaan je zo de champagneroute oprijdt en de mooie omgeving inrijdt. Wij hebben ontzettend genoten en komen graag nog een keer terug. Dankjewel Régine!

Thank you so much to Françoise and Olivier! We loved our stay at their beautiful home. The apartment was so nicely decorated and curated and we felt right at home. The pool and its surrounds that we had to ourselves for our stay were absolutely stunning, and Olivier was so kind to set up the barbecue for us to use as well. Athis was a beautiful town too and simply the perfect place to explore the Champagne region. There are also some excellent roads for cycling in the area if that is of interest. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying with Françoise and Olivier and we hope to be able to return in the future!

Det är alltid lika trevligt att besöka Carolines gård. Bemötandet är professionellt och trevligt, hon är hjälpsam. Läget är toppen om man som vi, vill besöka många champagnehus. Boendet är bekvämt och har allt en behöver, vårt tredje besök och det blir fler.

We would love to visit this airbnb with our kids every summer! They loved watching the horses, playing on the playground, and swimming. The other families on-site were friendly and we enjoyed bbqing with them. The location was quiet, but quite close to the champagne houses we wanted to visit. Parking was ample, and the owner had a cute puppy. Our airbnb was large and clean, and my husband appreciated the AC in our bedroom.
