Kuckó is located in the Balaton Uplands, directly on the Blue Tour, in a picturesque environment, in an area surrounded by grapes, on the upper floor of our small Family Wine House, which makes its "nature" wines from its own-grown grapes (a clearer in the fridge). There are many sights, beaches, and hiking opportunities in the area. Thanks to the fridge- heated air conditioning and electric heaters, you can enjoy the magnificent panoramic view in winter or the many sights in the area. We look forward to hearing from you!

We have preserved the old buildings: the apartment building and the barn was reborn as a modern, comfortable, clean guest house. It is entirely built of natural materials (CLAY, WOOD, ...). Love for creativity and nature can be felt at every step. The evidences are handcrafted "masterpieces" in the earth and around it.

The bedroom has a comfortable large double bed for guests who want to relax, and the spacious living room has a pull-out couch. 155cm 4K TV, iron, ironing board, dryer, automatic Samsung washing machine, hair dryer, towels, linens for 4 people. There are household appliances and silverware and dinnerware in the kitchen. There is wifi. There are 2 terraces in the apartment. I ask my esteemed guests not to use the closet in the bedroom!

Upon thorough renovation in 2021, the house has been adapted to the modern way of living, yet it retained its original charm and soul.

Come to the hill of love and stay in a lovely home

About almost 8 years ago we found a wonderfull place in the hills around Maribor. Sharing this special place with good people made us so happy, that we decided to built facilities to stay. So we started to renovate our little garbage hut and tool shed, building a little bath house and a bigger tent for families. By renting the small cottages, we can combine the joy of sharing this place with living a little bit of it.
