Wood cabin-house for large families in Harz

Large property, almost 5000 sqm, with lots of trees, plants and even a small creek on a side of the property, while another side is on a well marked forest trail. We gave special thought to ensuring your privacy and we have practically no neighbours, although still in a small village, close to the Harz National Park The cabin-house is made of wood, for a true nature feeling. We have all the modern amenities though and we even produce most of the used electricity through solar panels, on site.

You will spend your vacation in our apartment renovated in 2021 on the 7th floor (elevator available) of a former hotel. Through the panoramic window you have a magnificent view of the mountains and the climatic health resort of Bad Grund. The apartment has a built-in kitchen, a dining area, a modern bathroom with large shower, as well as a cozy solid wood double bed with cotton bed linens. On the balcony you sit between herbs (to harvest yourself) & flowers on teak furniture.

Great apartment with high quality furnishings, well soundproofed. The amenities leave nothing to be desired. Everything is sparkling clean. Plenty of space, beautiful views, terrace sun space included. Close to the world forest and hiking opportunities. Many excursion options in the village and around. Buses for free. Friendly people. Great cafes. Highly recommended.

Beautiful cottage in a small town in the Harz region. Perfect for a relaxing getaway for a couple with a dog. Super convenient back gate leading to amazing trails for walking, hiking and cycling. The town centre is within walking distance, but keep in mind it's a relatively small village. Meike was a great host and very helpful! We enjoyed ourselves a lot.

Hi, There were five of us at Martina's and we had a nice time. The property is very lovingly decorated and you can walk to hiking trails, the village and also the stalactite cave.

The apartment is beautiful. We felt right at home. Very special and loving decor. Absolutely a highlight! Since we had to work, the Internet was also important to us. Even if it wasn't the quality as at home, it was absolutely okay. Only the beds had their challenge. But we still slept well We will be happy to come back.

We were the first, but certainly not the last, time in the rosehip. The location is perfect for us as enthusiastic motorcyclists. It is nice and quiet, but there are still shopping facilities nearby. The rosehip is small, but it has everything your heart desires. I find the very comfortable sofa bed particularly noteworthy. When fully extended, it measures 160x200cm. This is pure luxury for such a small apartment. Everything is very lovingly but also practically furnished. Every corner was perfectly used. The kitchen is quite small, but since we were out all day anyway, it didn't bother us at all. The bathroom is relatively large and tidy. From the balcony you have a beautiful view. The icing on the cake was of course the pool and the sauna. We only used both once, because we had such nice weather and wanted to spend the time outside. It was a very successful holiday! We will definitely be back!
