Our beautiful apartment on two floors with south-facing balcony is idyllically and very quietly located on the edge of the forest from the spa town of Bad Sachsa - perfect for relaxing in nature or as a starting point for extensive hikes. Within walking distance you can reach the main hiking routes in a few minutes (on request I will be happy to give you more information). Shops and shops (Edeka, Rewe, Rossmann, bakery, restaurants, Sparkasse) are about 15 minutes walking distance in the center.

Guests will find the small apartment on the western outskirts of the climatic spa town of Bad Sachsa, right on the edge of the forest at an altitude of 380 m. Completely renovated in 2019, the apartment offers its own south-facing terrace with adjoining garden. Directly behind the property, the designated hiking and mountain bike tours into the Harz Natural Park begin. The swimming pool and spa park are within walking distance. The neighboring road ends shortly behind the property at the forest.

Our apartment is located in Hohegeiß, a district of Braunlage. Hohegeiß is centrally located in the Harz Mountains at 640 meters above sea level. It is a place of relaxation for vacationers seeking peace and quiet. In summer, it is ideal for hiking and mountain biking. In winter, ski resorts are available in the village and nearby. There are excursion possibilities, for example, to Goslar, Wernigerode and Quedlinburg. The guest fee of €3.00/night for adults is charged in cash on site.

Vacation home for a break in Nordhausen/Harz

Our vacation home is centrally located and yet surrounded by greenery. In 10 minutes you can walk through the city forest (enclosure) to the city center and directly behind your home is Hohenrode Park. The immediate proximity to the Harz Mountains offers many opportunities for active vacation planning. We hope you feel comfortable in our lovingly furnished cottage. One free parking space is available right by the house.

If you read this text, you are one step closer to your perfect Harz vacation. Our apartment is best suited for couples or small families. It is located on the 2nd floor (attic) of a three-party house with few residential units. Very quiet and relaxing. Not overcrowded. Very good amenities (like at home). Parking is available right outside the door. Good fast Internet VDSL 50 Mbit free of charge.
