A nice private villa with a beautiful kinabalu mountain view and surrounded by a pretty well maintained garden . The staff that stays there was also helpful. My advice to improve is to clean the floors better because it was quite dusty but other than that i am happy . Thank you for having us !

The place was exactly as the pictures. I'd say for 4 people, it might be a squeeze but for 2 it was very spacious. As it was located nearby pasar tamu and restaurants, you can just walk there for 10 minutes. Although the place came with no air conditioning, it was quite chilly at night. Thankfully the host provided thick duvets. All the amenities provided were as mentioned and working well. I like how the place was located close to the Akinabalu as well, very scenic.

Very nice homestay in a lovely location. Beautiful views, easy to find and would recommend. Only downside was the dogs barking from early in the morning waking us up and disturbing us.

Giek Eng was amazing. The place we had originally booked was missing a washing machine which was important for a family of four. As I was in Sandakan already I contacted her last minute abd she graciously accommodated us. The hand only was fast but clear. Apartment was well located in the newer part of sandakan, local supermarket Bataras with many local kopi tiams and aircon places for breakfast. Nice local bakeries, dessert parlours and restaurants. Giek Engā€™s apartment was exactly like the photos, well supplied with laundry detergents, toilet rolls and bottled water. A real home from home. It made our trip a most enjoyable one. Thank you again Giek Eng, will be booking you if we are back again.

Recommended place to stay..the house was clean and comfortable as home šŸ‘šŸ» but, if u guys want to go swimming, 1unit homestay only allowed for 4 people and the most unacceptable is that there is security guard who will guard in front of the pool no privacy at all. Anyway, overall we still happy can stay here and the host was so friendly šŸ‘šŸ» Thank you.
