Tiny house holiday rentals in Bahía Ballena

It was a little piece of heaven! And the hosts: super nice:) Very quiet, the sound of nature to fall asleep, the location was perfect for the beach and the small cafes/restaurants around! I'll be back for sure.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The landscaping and scenery were beautiful. Jeff and Nando were friendly and so helpful with great suggestions for activities and restaurants. We used the pool daily and sometimes at night. It was so refreshing after the heat of the day. The 3 building concept was unique and very liveable.

We were greeted upon arrival and shown the place. We enjoyed the pool and the lodge. The location was superb as it was steps away from the beach (Marino Ballena). Loved it, would certainly come back.

My sister and I stayed here for 3 nights and we were very pleased with the place!!! It is up a mountain and away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to Uvita and everything you need! It feels like your own little piece of paradise surrounded by wild life and lots of beautiful plants. We saw a monkey in the tree upon arrival. The river is so close that you can hear it and it’s super peaceful!! Very beautiful water falls near by, the national park, and the beach!!! I will say I don’t know if we would’ve made it up the mountain and to the resort without a 4x4! Also, I must note that the upstairs and downstairs unit are separate. The bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs. So, if you’re like me and have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night you do have to go outside and downstairs to use the bathroom!!! But it was really no problem. Incredible place for the price! Highly recommend 😌

Beautiful surroundings, delicious breakfasts, comfortable bed and good recommendations from the host (visit la Cusinga for a drink or food and enjoy the beautiful view and the walking trails around the property!). If you have a 4x4 and want a more quiet stay, I’d recommend this place!

I went to visit the place with my wife because of our second anniversary and everything was perfect. Accessing the place was super simple, the toilet that for me is the most important thing; impeccable. I had certain doubts as to privacy, because other guests said that the room was next to the main street and since we slept like a baby, we never heard anything. And no, the room is nothing near the main street. Breakfast (not included) was delicious and very nutritious. But the best part was Emanuel; our host. It really took the time to get to know us and make us feel right at home. To explain the place and recommendations of the area. We were not another guest, we were real guests. In the end, 10/10, to the point we hope to be back soon. Thank you for everything.

The place is very nice, close to the national park, the only thing is that the park does not enter pets so consider that, but to the accommodation yes. If I had to give a criticism (no eager to judge, but to contribute constructively) i would personally change the curtains for privacy, and I wish I had air conditioning. Even though for the price we had rather I feel like it was a super place to stay. It is not as hot as you imagine, the most is Puntarenas and the beach, but with the two fans one plays it. On the other hand, I am half pendejo and the gas stove is not used, hopefully they would get an electric for those we are scary, we do not know and/or we are sorry to ask hehe. The access is very easy and well comfortable, there are quite a few restaurants around, we didn't have that much time to get to know everything but we would have loved it!

I don’t know how you put a price on peace. I can’t say enough about the amazing staff at Rama, the surroundings and how safe I felt traveling solo and staying for a month. This place felt like a vibrant yet peaceful reprieve from the noise of the world. Nature was everywhere and it was such a beautiful experience and stay.

We loved our stay, we love the air conditioning in the room, the bed is very spacious and comfortable, it felt a lot of peace and we could appreciate a beautiful sunset, the kitchen is complete! everything very nice, they were extremely communicative with us and very attentive! very grateful.

We had a great few days in bungalow 1. Everything was very clean, also very stylishly furnished. The terrace with the outdoor kitchen was a dream, the mattresses super comfortable. We were completely comfortable! Within walking distance there was a fruit and vegetable stand, where you could shop very cheaply, which was very convenient. Communication also went smoothly. After we said after the first night that the pillows were unfortunately much too thick for us, we were immediately brought thinner pillows, which was really very thoughtful.

Amazing place, comfortable, quite and relaxing. Finally the rooftop adds some extra points. Definitely will stay once again .

Chris is an excellent host. The location is beautiful. Full of all things nature, friendly guests, loveable dogs, delicious fruit, great music and vibes. I've been to Costa Rica a couple of times and this is definetly the place I'll stay on my next trip.

This place is a one of a kind getaway jewel. It has one of the most breath taking views ever) Highly recommended. Do need a 4x4 to get there, but its well worth it.

Great place to stay if you’re traveling to Ojochal. The house had everything I needed. Very cozy. I work online and the WiFi was good. Beautiful property and wonderful hosts! Very kind, helpful and accommodating. I appreciated it being new to this area of Costa Rica. The surroundings are so peaceful and relaxing. The hammock was great for lounging and the pool was nice to cool off in the afternoons. I enjoyed my stay! Thank you!

super nice wooden cabin, with everything you need for a nice vacation, super complex, cabin in the jungle park with lots of privacy and wildlife observations, everything is maintained and lovingly furnished and designed, we would have liked to have stayed longer, absolute top recommendation from us.

This was our second stay at Ohana. It is a perfect setup for traveling with our friend since we have a baby and she wanted to sleep. The room and pool are both clean, beds are comfortable, hosts are communicative and accommodating, and it is a good value. The only critique, it is advertised that there is coffee available, but this was not the case. Not a big deal, we brought our own.

We stayed at Truenos over the weekend, because I was going to participate in Moon Run Dominical trail running race. Truenos is 1km away from downtown Dominical. BM supermarket is 500mts away That made it perfect. The place is beautiful. Beds are nice and clean. It has a very equipped kitchen so we cooked our meals fine without troubles. There is enough space to park and a beautiful garden. It has a nice terrace with hammocks where you can take a nap surrounded by nature.
