We had a fantastic stay. The house is beautiful and comfortable. We loved sitting on the balcony looking out at the trees. We saw beautiful birds, howler monkeys and white faced monkeys. The communication was great. We had no complaints. We highly recommend this place for your trip to Uvita.

Stuart’s place was an ideal location for a private and peaceful getaway. The property itself had great amenities - especially the pool and the surrounding landscape. It was centrally located to bars, restaurants and beaches in Uvita and two neighboring towns - but far enough away to feel like we were in the middle of the jungle. Stuart was a great host. His place definitely made our vacation!

This place was incredible! Finding the house was a breeze due to Chris’s instructions. We were able to find it without any issues even in the dark. The house itself was the perfect size, had everything we needed, was clean, and had a beautiful atmosphere. There’s no AC but it honestly wasn’t an issue at all, there are plenty of fans to keep cool and the windows can be opened for fresh air. We also really enjoyed the outdoor setting, we spent a good amount of time on the back deck and in the pool. There was some cool wildlife to see around the house too! I have absolutely nothing poor to say about this place and would highly recommend!! Chris was very responsive and helped with any questions/concerns we had. If we were to ever travel back to Costa Rica, I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to this place!

Where do we begin? Our stay went beyond expectations. We had a party of 5 private individuals and we each had our own place to sleep and relax. The pool, indoor and outdoor kitchens, and entire outdoor spaces were fantastic for enjoying one another also. The waterfall, creek, vegetation, and animals provided a truly Costa Rican experience! A resident sloth, some howler monkeys, coaties, iguanas, and agouties were some of the wildlife we experienced. Restaurants, shopping, zip lining, water activities are less than a mile away. Landon provided an abundance of information regarding all the activities Uvita and the surrounding area have to offer. We stayed 10 days and the complimentary cleaning mid week was greatly appreciated! Costa Rico stole our hearts and our amazing accommodations made it very difficult to leave.

Wonderful stay to end our two-month trip through Costa Rica! We felt at home from the very beginning in this fantastic accommodation. Everything was spotless, and the kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything you might need. There was also a very helpful booklet full of restaurant recommendations and activity tips — all well described. The pool was amazing, with lots of pool toys that made our kids really happy. The house has a new washing machine and dryer — not something you find everywhere in Costa Rica. Our clothes finally felt truly clean again! Richard, the host, was extremely helpful and always responded quickly to any questions we had. All in all, a perfect place to stay — especially recommended for families. We would come back any time!

We were all so excited when we arrived. The house and the view were exactly what the photos showed. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, looking at the amazing view around us. The restaurants near us were all great. Karen the owner and Olmer the concierge were great at responding to our questions. We would definitely love to go back!!

We found the location great: a small convenience store close by, good Mexican restaurant two blocks and beach four blocks away. Further: view restaurants 15-20’ in both directions; life-changing sanctuaries (Alturas) and wildlife preserves (Sierpe! Playa Tortuga!) 30-60’. Variety of surfing beaches from a walk to a drive away. Great couple renting boards right at the beach entrance so no need to carry them home. We loved the outdoor shower and especially the pool, heaven on a hot day or after a warm walk or hike. We loved taking an early morning “nature walk” to see monkeys and birds as they wake and look for breakfast. Real treats: Cherrie’s Tanagers, Morpho butterflies and especially the Howlers coming through the corridor next door at 4:45am. Tropical thunderstorms with frogs calling, enjoyed from the shelter of the terrace with lightning all around, rain splashing in the pool. The local Mercado with fabulous yogurt and smoothies, fruit and bread, Wed/Sat. House a sanctuary!

This home was beautiful, and the view unmatched! Oscar was so responsive and helpful with our very many requests. He gave local recommendations and booked anything we needed, even on short notice. It felt like our home away from home. We would definitely stay at this house again when we are back in town.

Thank you to the hosts for creating a true paradise, this stay went above and beyond anything I had envisioned. My daughter and I felt at home the moment we arrived. The view of the ocean absolutely blew us away, and the peaceful jungle setting made it even more magical. We felt completely safe and private the entire time, which let us fully relax and enjoy every moment. This was more than a vacation rental, it felt like a retreat. We’ll never forget it. And one last thing, we HIGHLY recommend the tiramisu from Potz Bistro just down the road.

Gabriela was an amazing host. She was responsive to our needs and super friendly. The house was spotless and really well equipped. We made very good use of the pool and excellent kitchen! The bedrooms were spacious and private. The house is at the end of a gravel road in an area that looks to have new development. When we stayed there was some light construction happening at 2 neighbour houses. There are a couple of shops within a 5-10 min walk, and an entrance to the national park beach 10 min or so walk away. You have to pay for the beach in the national park but well worth it as the beach is beautiful and clean.

What a delightful spot! So perfect for a small family! I had my own master suite and my son had his on the other side of the outdoor kitchen. My son loved the privacy.

We were at Chamana's house for a weekend and the stay couldn't have been better, The house has all the amenities and an unbeatable location, a few steps from the beach. Naty, our host, was excellent with 5-star service, very kind and super friendly. I recommend this house without a doubt. Thank you Naty, we hope to return soon. Pura Vida!

This was an amazing experience! The villa was well equipped and very beautiful. The location was amazing as well, in the middle of nature but still close (less than 10min drive) to Uvita itself. We also saw tucans and monkeys from our balcony. We would defenitily recommend this!

This is a beautiful house with total privacy. We saw several birds species at the house and walking through the neighborhood. It’s a short drive into Uvita and there are several restaurants to choose from. It’s also close to Arco Beach, Whale Tail, and Catarata Uvita. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends.

Just wow! Best Airbnb I've ever stayed at. The view was stunning, the home was clean. I wanted to be away from people and surrounded by nature, that's what I got. You absolutely need a 4x4 to get up the mountain but the drive wasn't as daunting as it sounded. The owners & property managers were so kind and communicated quickly and crystal clear. My gf and I went during green season so a storm brought wifi go down but someone updated before I realized what happened. Rainy weather is our favourite and we really experienced the best of both worlds with sun in the mornings, and throughout the day depending on where you were down the mountain, with rain and thunderstorms in the evening/early night. We saw coatis (their version of a raccoon, according to Jorge who was super nice), toucans, other really neat, colourful birds, and on our last morning a blue Morpho butterfly! It was a magical experience, no complaints. Oh, visit the butterfly garden & waterfall on the way up the mountain!

Wonderful place to stay. The location was perfect. Close to everything, restaurants, shopping and of course the beach. Neff was very responsive when asked questions. Gave great recommendations for restaurants. The bed and furniture were extremely comfortable. And the best thing was the pool. We used it every day rain or shine. Will hopefully be back soon!!

From the moment we decided to stay at this property, Ingrid was very accessible to answer all of our questions, at all times. She was very quick to respond. The property itself is gorgeous! The property is beautiful with a lovely kitchen, dining, and living room. Everything was very modern and pristine. Outside the sitting area made for a nice retreat after a long day. The pool is gorgeous along with the grounds, filled with pretty flowers. The bedrooms were all very well done and the beds were so cozy along with the pillows. The master bedroom and bath were incredible. Lots of shelf space. The shower wonderful. It is in a very good area with several restaurants a short walk away. It’s close to the Uvita Falls and butterfly Arboretum./restaurant. There are so many wonderful restaurants in the area. We opted mostly for Chef Haywirth to prepare our breakfast and some dinners.. he’s incredible! All meals were delicious! I highly recommend Casa Maloha in Uvita!

A wonderful house. 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms, all located by the pool. With small children, you have to be a little more careful around the swimming pool. Kitchen is provided with everything you might need. Bathrooms are beautiful and equipped with shampoo. Pool is wonderful!!

One of our most beautiful Costa Rica Airbnb rentals: the motto is relaxation and perfect environment. The accommodation matches the listing perfectly, better in real life than in the listing, which is rare. A wide range of useful equipment is available. You'll feel at home in an idyllic setting where you can see howler monkeys, toucans, parrots, vultures, multicolored birds and basilicas (crested lizards) sunbathing near the pool. Hard to put into words how incredible our honeymoon stay Osa was. The nicest place we've ever stayed / may ever stay in our life! It's so quiet and peaceful, just sitting by the pool was one of the most magical experiences we've ever had. Toucans fly right up on to the trees, like 10 feet in front of you. And you can just watch them eat! THE VIEW. IS SO INSANE. I think it's what some neighborhood of heaven looks like. Every time of day, any time of day, whether it's raining or at sunrise. Most magical experience of our lives. Lori and her cohost Martin were SO COMMUNICATIVE, helpful, and reassuring during our 4.5-hour drive from San Jose airport to the AirBNB. It was dark and pouring rain but we had constant communication with Martin which was beyond helpful and comforting! The house itself is a dream. Oh my god. PERFECT VACATION, BOOK IT BOOK IT BOOK IT!
