We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Quinta! Everything was extremely clean, newly renovated and thoughtfully furnished. The view from the property was absolutely stunning. Manuel and Helena are such a sweet and welcoming couple – they made us feel right at home from the very first moment. House located in the middle of the vineyards. Magnificent view of the Douro Valley. Everything was great and clean when we arrived. The house is large and has everything you need to feel good. The pool and air conditioning are a real plus not to be overlooked in hot weather. Thank you to Thomas for his kindness, he was responsive to each of my requests, always with the concern to bring me satisfaction. We had a pleasant stay in Portugal and thanks to this house the experience was even better. My kids were delighted. We hope to be back someday! Thanks again

César and Paula were very kind and likeable hosts. The accommodation where we spent one night was a private separate, completely new and modern little cottage with private parking, terrace (on which we enjoyed the delicious homemade rosé and white wine) and balcony with great views. At this time, a pool is being built, which will make the view of the Douro Valley better. We were very comfortable at Casa Anastácia! The neighbor's rooster couldn't change that either.

Manuel was very proactive and welcoming. He kindly gave us a tour of the owner and explained the small details. There is no washing machine for the laundry (contrary to what is stated in the description), he gave us access to the washing machine which is normally reserved for him. The view of the Douro is splendid and the backyard with pool and outdoor kitchen simply superb. The area is slightly remote, but if the goal is to find is privacy and quiet, it is a perfect place! It's easy to drive to visit the valley.

What more can I say than the previous reviews, one of the best AIRBNBs we've ever had! We were two couples and we had a wonderful week. Pedro and Susane are very friendly, warm, we were received like kings with a lot of attention and many small treats that we enjoyed. The house is very nice, comfortable, very quiet, exceptional dominant view of the countryside and the mountains... it feels very nice, the people of the village are very nice and welcoming. The photos are not representative, it's much better in person. Two bathrooms with toilets, including one in a bedroom... really ideal for two couples. Thank you for hosting us and for making the effort to speak to us in French (Very good!) We recommend your home 200% and we hope to be able to come back to enjoy the Douro Valley (exceptional!)

This is a beautiful home! We spent a wonderful week with extended family ranging in age from 90 years to 2 years old. The home was perfect for everyone. It is a large historical property that is traditionally but comfortably furnished and was immaculately clean. There is lots of space and many interesting places to explore - it really fired the imaginations of our 6 and 8 year old boys. The pool was very clean and bigger than we imagined. There were Sun loungers, shade umbrellas and toys for the kids which was a real bonus. The host family were welcoming, kind and very hospitable. They responded very quickly to any questions. The property is less than 10 minutes drive to a railway station with good service to Porto or beautiful inland train ride along the Douro River. We had a super week and unreservedly recommend this property.

We spent 10 days at Quinta De Nadais in early August. The climate is perfect - hot during the day, cooler at night. Surrounded by an abundance of fruit trees and vegetables which you are free to eat, this quiet working farm offers a rustic retreat up in the hills above the river Douro. The large house is comfortable and spotless, with great facilities. The pool is surrounded by a lush lawn on the hillside with magnificent views over the valley. Adjacent to the property, and sharing the driveway, is another small property whose single inhabitant is pleasant and quiet. We were given a massive amount of fruit and veg from the farm which was delicious. Local supermarkets offer a good selection of fresh fish, meat and vegetables. We cooked at the property most nights and ate outside overlooking the pool and valley - hard to beat the view at any restaurant. Our host was wonderful, attentive and helpful, and a pleasure to deal with. A fantastic holiday. Thanks!

We had a great vacation with the family. The house is very spacious with a beautiful terrace on the Douro. Communication with the service was nice once we were put on the newsgroup. Just a little misunderstanding of having joined the discussion groups only 2 hours before. Overall very happy and I will be happy to recommend this place. A little dangerous for children (stairs, steep terrace,...)
