House holiday rentals in Bakio

The house is in a beautiful location overlooking a verdant valley and is a short drive to Plentzia. There is a great beach there and a decent Eroski supermarket. Fernanda was a responsive and helpful host who made really helpful recommendations and the house was super comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bedrooms were comfortable and clean with huge amounts of storage. The pool is gorgeous. It’s described as a salt water pool but wasn’t salty at all. We had a great week between hotel stays in Bilbao and San Sebastián.

We enjoyed this beautiful house, in a beautiful enclave of Plentzia. The house is spotless with all amenities and beautiful and well cared for furniture. The great garden and the brand new BBQ. Taking care of a lot of details. Eukene has always been very attentive to anything we need . The urbanization has a swimming pool and great places and the area is beautiful to walk around. Espectacular.

12 of us stayed with Mari Luz and had a great time. Everyone was comfortable and felt at home for the 4 nights we were there. At first I was worried that we might disturb Mari Luz but we didn't receive any complaints despite 1 or 2 late nights drinking around the dinner table. Also I'm extremely glad we stayed in Castro Urdiales instead of Bilbao since Castro was a much more relaxing and hospitable place and Bilbao was only a 30 min bus away anyway.

We enjoyed our stay with Iciar very much, because of the peace, nature and animals and the nice house. Iciar is a very warm woman, made us feel very welcome and was always available for tips and facts. The house/area fully matches the pictures/description. Plus, there is a variety of things to visit/see on max 1h drive. Highly recommended!

Very nice, clean and spacious accommodation in a very peaceful corner of Biscay, 20 minutes from Bilbao and the ocean. Very good communication and welcome with Aitziber and Inaki. Parking space just near the accommodation. Enclosed and well-guarded land! An address to remember for a future getaway in this charming region.

Amaia’s place was fantastic, I stayed there for 10 days and I enjoyed it very much. I came with my dog and I love that the garden is closed and that he could be free there. She also took care of him and treated my dog as if he was hers :) The apartment is super comfortable, very well equipped, and super cleaned. I arrived on a Sunday and Amaia provided me with some eggs and bread so I didn’t have to go out after a long day of driving. I will definitely come back, my time there was lovely.

Perfect hosts. Thoughtful and very pleasant. Perfect communication. You can't ask for much more from the house, it has everything to make you feel at home. We'll be back for sure just to give them a little trouble. Haha. It was a pleasure. Thanks for everything.

Absolutely everything was superb, the house, the amenities including outside, the cleanliness. Eduardo and his wife are extremely welcoming and have few recommendations in the area. Thanks to them, I recommend this rental without hesitation.

Good accommodation, we only spent one night but everything was very clean and the house was rustic, beautiful and spacious. We didn't meet the hosts because we arrived and we left at difficult times but the flexibility in and out was great

The place was spotless, adjusted to what was described in the listing. In a quiet neighborhood, with surrounding land and very well located for excursions, both in Cantabria and the Basque Country. Casa Merino is in a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood in the mountains. In order to get into town (Castro Urdiales) and easily get to other areas of Cantabria, hiring a car or bringing your own is recommended. Pilar was very communicative and there to welcome us when we arrived. The house was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. Pilar also readily answered queries during our stay and gave recommendations. We would happily recommend Casa Merino.

I am valuing Bilbao. Do you think this text? Spacious, well located, clean,.. some scarce living room furniture (only sofa without armchairs) and kitchen utensils are missing for six people (cutlery and cutlery only for six). A coat hanger would be good for coats.

We travel with family, marriage and two teenagers, the palm house met all our expectations, the host, whenever needed was attentive. The impeccable cleanliness, living room and living area very spacious and comfortable. All very well equipped, kitchen with ample kitchen, full bathrooms. The home clothes, linens, and towels are spotless. Very nice views. Highly recommended.

We couldn't have chosen a better place for a few days in the Basque Country! The house is comfortable, with plenty of space, nothing is missing and spectacular views. But Irati and Antxon also take care of you as if you were at home, good communication, all facilities and good advice. Thank you so much for everything, I'm sure we'll see each other again!

perfect accommodation, in the middle of tranquility. Dogs are allowed and there is plenty of space to enjoy a barbecue and the outdoors. I would put a spotlight or lamppost outside the house, because when it gets dark, a little more light would be needed to enjoy the summer nights.

Very cozy accommodation, very clean, the fully equipped kitchen that we really liked, the bed of the large and comfortable marriage. Jose Luis is a kind and welcoming person and he gave us many tips to get around the Urdabai area. The very quiet village could be rested after a long day of walks in the area. We had the perfect vacation. Thank you.

Sonia's apartment is super clean, accessible and the black out blinds worked a wonder! Sonia was always responsive and helpful - we spent most of our time in Bilbao so this was a great sleeping space. It may not bother you, but the apartment does not have WiFi! altogether a great stay :)

I was going not in Bilbao overnight and chose to stay just outside the city. The house is newly refurbished with clean and functional modern furniture. House has everything included to make you feel comfortable and is really quiet. Ainhoa the host was really helpful, even going as far as to book me a taxi and leaving local food delicacies and oranges for our breakfast. A great host and you won’t regret staying there.

From booking to arriving Nerea was very helpful and we had to make a few alterations of which she was great to deal with, responded to my queries and put us at ease. On arrival we were met by her Father who is a very nice man and he showed us around, what everything does and where everything was, we also asked some advice about our journey and he was very helpful, obviously a bit of a language barrier but he was patient, understanding and helpful. The house itself is set in such a beautiful location, the scenery is breath-taking and we felt at home straight away, everything you need is a drive away but easy. I would highly recommend, a superb Host and a superb property Would most defiantly look at re visiting again and would have no hesitation in booking here again.
