Villa holiday rentals in Balaton

The place was quite and clean. We loved our stay not to mention that the beach was 10-15 minutes away (there is a bit of a hill walking up to the house but not too bad, even my 70 years old mom was able to climb it). Check-in was flexible; we met up with Sara to check-in who was friendly and courteous. A few observations: 1) we rented the entire house (both of the apartments) and neither kitchen had a microwave. It wasn't a huge deal but it would have been nice to warm up some leftovers in the microwave! 2) All of the doors were extremely squeaky and loud - this was an issue during the middle of the night if someone had to use the bathroom. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and I would recommend this place.

Great stay in a lovely house right on the shores of the lake. We were right next to the public lake access which gave us great restaurants at our doorstep (but was not too noisy or disturbing!). House was spotless and air conditioning worked well. Would recommend for any group looking for a nice holiday!

Lisa’s place is amazing and at great location. It is very spacious and a stone throw from the lake. Lisa herself is very kind and the check in was smooth and the instructions were clear and accurate. The kitchen is unfortunately not very well taken care of as the dishes were mainly dirty and stained and I wish Lisa was more available in case of unexpected situations because when there was a problem with heating I had to wait for 3 days until the problem was resolved which is not very convenient in winter time. But I can understand that unexpected problems might occur so after all it wasn’t that much of a big deal. However, I think this place is totally worth the price and I also appreciate that there are boardgames you can borrow and it is very well furnished with absolutely everything you might need for your stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who would like to spend some beautiful time at Balaton. Thank you!

We had a fantastic time in this charming villa. It is located right in the heart of the old town. You walk out the door, take a few steps, and are in the middle of all the fun, sights, and bites. The magic? Somehow, this place still is private and hidden. It's like a secret garden. The villa is super spacious and decked out with everything you didn't even know you needed. My favorite part was the backyard. If you are traveling with kiddos, this spot is gold. Kids can run around and play while you relax with a great meal and a glass of local wine. This villa is like that awesome song you find and put on repeat but don't want to tell anyone about it cause it's yours. Of course, some secrets are too good not to share. :-)

We had a wonderful stay at Adam's Villa on Lake Balaton! The villa was not only beautifully furnished but also spotlessly clean. The location was perfect – within walking distance of the lake and in a quiet, idyllic area. Adam was an excellent host, always available and very helpful. The furnishings of the villa left nothing to be desired, from the well-equipped kitchen to the terrace and garden with barbecue. We really enjoyed our vacation here and would recommend the villa to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing time at Lake Balaton. Thank you, Adam, for this great stay!

Really loved the place!

Pictures don’t do this place justice. So peaceful with the best view of lake balaton, feels secluded but with everything you could need. Host was very flexible and responsive. For those with small children and limited mobility would be aware that only one bedroom on the first floor and outside because of the nice view there are lots of stairs.

Angéla and István were incredibly kind and welcomed us with homemade Schnaps and homegrown fruits . They gave us detailed information about the house and surroundings. The house was definitely worth the price. Us 13 had a great time, the property is really beautiful. Highly recommend it.

Wow, what a fantastic place to stay! Our family (kids, parents, and grandparents) had the best time at this gorgeous villa in Balatonfured. The house is so pretty, with comfy furniture and cool decorations that made us feel right at home. We loved hanging out by the pool. The kids had a blast, and us adults got to relax in style. It felt like our own little paradise. The kitchen is great (we love to cook), and we enjoyed eating outside on the terrace every day and every meal. It was great being so close to the lake too - we could walk to the beach and restaurants in just a few minutes. If you're looking for a special place to make memories, this villa is perfect. We can't wait to come back!

We returned to Andrea's place for the second time, it was just as peaceful and beautiful. Andrea is a responsive host, the house is comfortable for 10-12 people to stay, all was as described in the listing. I hope we will return soon!

The villa is beautiful and very well equipped. It is in a nice and peaceful neighborhood, and is perfect for a family reunion and relaxation if you want to be away from the craziness of the city. The house is about 30 minutes away from Budapest by car, and 50 minutes away by public transportation. The house is super clean, functional, comfortable, and offers a stunning view to the surrounding Buda hills. Betty, the owner, and host of the house, is a super nice, welcoming, and friendly lady. She came to greet us at the check-in in person, showed us around, and explained everything we needed to know. We had some special needs at the check-in, and check-out, and she was very understanding, and super flexible both times. We enjoyed the heated pool, the sauna, the hot tub, and the gym every day during our stay. All of them were super clean and very well maintained. We liked everything about the villa. We will definitely come back here whenever we will visit Budapest. Thank you, Betty!

Zita is a great host. She was super responsive, helpful and kind. The house is amazing, perfect in every detail, it is a great place to have for a family vacation with three generations.

What an awesome villa Atilla has. 5 double rooms, great kitchen, spacious shady deck under a large awning, large private garden with plenty of shade and a lovely pool. The games area and table tennis is a nice addition. The kitchen is really well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses and utensils - something we have found other airbnb's lack when cooking for a group of six. The villa is very close to the lake with access from the rear garden. The lake is fab - we had morning and evening swims each day when it was less busy and play time using atilla's SUP paddleboard in the afternoons. One of the best Villa's we've rented for our family. thank you

We had a really good time there! Anita and Marc were really nice! They fulfilled all our wishes and made sure that we have a good time there! They are really super friendly and nice people :) Special thanks for the welcome gifts! The house is very comfortable with big kitchen and living room. The outside area is also very nice with the heated pool and grill area :) The house was very well equipped, we had everything we needed.

Hostitel Peter bol prijemny, mily, na vsetky nase otazky Cancelled, gave us a tatty otporucania coolout. The place was nice, clean, quiet, perfect for relaxing. For us, the location is perfect as an exit position for further trips, or the Thermalpark in Dunajská Streda, Slovakia Ring, or Zoo Gyor, which we visited, will be further places that are accessible by car. Thank you for a pleasant stay, we will be happy to come back if we plan our next vacation in this location

There were three of us in the vacation home for three days. The accommodation was functional and the swimming pool served us very well. Only the two sofa beds are not super comfortable. But if you don't expect a bed, that's totally fine. We would definitely come back.

We stayed for 4 nights in Paul's beautiful accommodation. The garden is really huge and we felt very comfortable in the middle of nature with birds chirping and surrounded by trees and flowers. The pool and the many hammocks are perfect for relaxing and there is plenty for children to discover in the garden. The kitchen is super equipped, everything you need for cooking and grilling is there. Paul is a very dear host, he helped us immediately with all concerns and we felt welcome right away.

Almost everything was perfect, the only 2 issues we had 1. No air conditioner (but we know it of course, so can't complain) 2. In my opinion it's less suitable with babies (0-3). But otherwise we really recommend it. Edina been good for us and very friendly, and help with all we need.

The host is amazing, he was always responsive and helpful if we faced any difficulties. The house was super clean and beautiful. We faced few issues to reach there, but Zsolt helped us very much. Was an overall perfect experience!

We had a lovely stay at this property. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was fantastic—close to a great beachfront and many supermarkets. The view was absolutely amazing, even better than we could see in the pictures! The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. No issues at all! Overall, it was a great experience. Would definitely recommend staying here!
