Charming and stylish log cabin from 1850 with modern standard in the middle of fjords and mountains on the west coast of Norway. Nearby, there is a sea of nature and local food experiences. The cabin is located in a rural area in a common yard with the farm. Great views with evening sun, patio and swimming facilities in the fjord. Possibility for electric car charging.

The old house at Solnes Farm

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents received the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from around 1950. We live in the other part of the house. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join in the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life as we are in full employment and have four small children.

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. In this cozy cottage you live in beautiful natural surroundings. River and mountain views from the window and on the terrace. Nice trips nearby, including Vallestadfossen which is 500 meters away. Mountain trips are also nearby. Below the cabin it is possible to fish trout (small) in the river. This is free. The nearest town is Førde which is 30 minutes away. Haukedalsvatnet is about 500 m from the cabin, where you can buy a fishing license. Here is a nice place to find peace.

Smak på våre selvproduserte produkter fra bigården, eller av de mange grønnsaker, kjøtt, frukt og bær som produseres. Nyt stillheten på vannet i robåt eller SUP brett, eller helt alene på din private strand. Opplevelsen i jacuzzi på kveldstid er helt magisk. Våkne opp til soloppgang over innsjøen med utsikt direkte fra senga, eller foran peisen.

The apartment is around 6 years old, and with all basic furniture and kitchen appliances. There is a parking lot separating the living room window and the fjord. Our beautiful 3 room ground floor apartment is available for rent. Perfect suitable for a couple, a small family or 2-4 friends. Two separate bedrooms. Linen and towels are included. The kitchen is fully equiped for cooking and eating. There are cable TV and a nice seating in the living room. Fast wireless internet. Big bathroom with shower, washing machine and dryer. Nice view to the Sognefjord and the mountains. Good hiking possibilities. Sunny place. You need a car to get there.

Approx. 20 min by car from Stryn city centre, and about 30 min to Loen skylift. Wi-fi with fiber speed. Next to the cabin is a barbecue hut that our guests can use (shared with other cabins). Cottage of about 60 square meters with 2 bedrooms. Own kitchen with crockery. The cottage is in a peaceful area with 3 other cabins. The chalet is in a private road and the area is quiet and peaceful. There is barbecue at the cabin for fine evenings with sunset in the fjord. There is a fireplace in the living room and it comes with firewood that can be used if it gets cold. There is also electric heating in every room. Bed linen and cleaning are included in the price.
