The house is very nicely located in relation to the Norway in a nutshell trip. Nice walk to Stalheim hotel (Kongevegen) 30 min. Voss Gondola. Charming and stylish log cabin from 1850 with modern standard in the middle of fjords and mountains on the west coast of Norway. Nearby, there is a sea of nature and local food experiences. The cabin is located in a rural area in a common yard with the farm. Great views with evening sun, patio and swimming facilities in the fjord. Possibility for electric car charging.

The old house at Solnes Farm

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents received the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from around 1950. We live in the other part of the house. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join in the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life as we are in full employment and have four small children.

Nice trips nearby, including Vallestadfossen which is 500 meters away. Mountain trips are also nearby. Below the cabin it is possible to fish trout (small) in the river. This is free. The nearest town is Førde which is 30 minutes away. Haukedalsvatnet is about 500 m from the cabin, where you can buy a fishing license. Here is a nice place to find peace.

The chalet is at the end of a private road and the area is quiet and peaceful. There is barbecue at the cabin for fine evenings with sunset in the fjord. There is a fireplace in the living room and it comes with firewood that can be used if it gets cold. There is also electric heating in every room. Bed linen and cleaning are included in the price.
