We had a wonderful time at Turid’s cabin. Truly incredible space, comfortable and cozy. Lots of things to do inside and outside the house. We rented one of the boats and had a beautiful couple of days out on the fjord. Turid and Audun also gifted us some very fresh eggs from their farm, were available at all times and helped us with recommendations and any questions we had. We loved it. We will return. A very magical place. 10/10

We loved our stay at Siv's house and would definitely stay there again. The views across the fjord were stunning and the peace and privacy were marvellous. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. It is a great area to explore. We went across as foot passengers on the small car ferry from the village of Solvorn to Urnes to visit the UNESCO Urnes Stavchurch, went on a walk up to Jostedalsbreen Glacier, and there are some fantastic mountain hikes close by.

Definetely recommend if you are looking for a peaceful and immersive experience into the Norwegian culture and fjords, outside touristic areas. The house is lovely and Guro welcomed us very kindly. Kitchen is well equipped and the living room is big. Preferably stay at least 2 or 3 nights to enjoy the place.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy house on a small apple farm! The place was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The view of the orchard and surrounding fjords was stunning, and the location was perfectly secluded, offering a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

We travelled as a family and stayed 3 nights at Maria's wonderful place! We really enjoyed it and wished we would have booked longer. The house is very cozy, clean, well equipped and comfortable. It's very quiet around, the road did not disturb us at all, and it has this stunning location right at the water front with the little pier. The communication with Maria was always great and fast. She is the perfect host and cares so much about her guests. We would always recommend her! And looking forward to come back. Ricarda & family

The accommodation was very tastefully decorated in a modern Scandinavian style. There was nothing missing. In the large swivel chairs by the living room window, you could lounge around all day and enjoy the fantastic view of the fjord and mountains. We felt very comfortable.

Beautiful stay in a typical Norwegian house, built by the host, with a beautiful view of the fjord. The host was very helpful and friendly, he allowed us to stay in the largest house at the same price perino. Very cozy house and in the morning the host gave us homemade bread. We feel so lucky to have found this beautiful farmhouse in our visit the Hafslo/Gaupne area! The house provides spectacular views of the fjord, with the epic Feigumfossen waterfall off in the distance, which makes the whole scene feel magical. We were blessed by warm and sunny weather, which certainly enhanced the experience. The house itself is modern and updated, with large photos of local scenes hung throughout the house. A host-provided guidebook has commentary on each photo, with recommendations on how to visit those places! We did the 6 mile easy-to moderate Austersdalbreen glacier hike, which I highly recommend! What made this location particularly special is that the area has the original homestead/farm of my Norwegian ancestry. When I mentioned this to Hege ahead of time, she took the extra time to research our family heritage and then she and her husband Oystein took us to the church and farm used by my family. It was so special and appreciated! Tusen takk!!

I will return in winter for sure, the place is amazing and it is well located and in a place of tales, it has an amazing view of the lake and the privacy and convenience that surpasses the other lodgings we have tasted, and as amazing as it looks has the best price in the region. I loved everything and am super grateful for Eivind who helped us and everything Simply great everything Thank you very much Eivind for everything

A nicely decorated apartment with a great view. We enjoyed sauna and pool- it was very clean and water temperature was comfortably warm. We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed sauna in both evenings. The apartment was quiet. When opening balcony, there's some sound from traffic, but with the door closed you don't hear anything. Beds are super-comfortable! There's an oven- we baked a pizza and it worked perfectly! Washing machine is available, but it's said to be outside the apartment in a separate laundry room. Overall, the apartment is very compact. It might feel too small for a longer stay, but as for our stay of 2 nights (4 adults), it fitted all our needs!

The stay at Joakim’s was very pleasant. He was very communicative and was very available for anything we may have needed.

Johnny was a great host, you felt like nothing was too much trouble. The cosy cabin overlooked a stunning lake and Mountain View. Toasty warm and super shower.

The location and the accommodation were great! We were 2 people so we stayed in the annex, which is different than the main bigger accommodation. The view was fantastic and the space was great! Well equipped kitchen and quite spacious!

We had a wonderful stay at Jarand’s cabin! The location is incredible and the cabin had stunning views. We enjoyed going for a hike in the area and going for a cool down in the stream. The cabin had everything we needed, including things to make coffee and easy meals. We were a bit worried about finding it, but Jarand gave helpful directions. If you follow Google maps to the coordinates, you’ll find where you should park easily and then have a short but steep hike up a clearly marked path. It was wonderful to disconnect for a few days and we have already recommended Jarand’s place to a few friends!

Warm and cozy house, recommend

It was a wonderful stay at Ulrik’s! Very private & right next to the late — surrounded only by nature! Everything was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed. It was a very cosy stay.

Wonderful location.The house is really pretty , very comfortable and really well equipped.a little jewel. Lovely place to rest, enjoy the nature or explore the region. Thanks to Ida, all is very well organised and check in easy.

This place was just great! It instantly feels cozy. Marianne and Roy managed to set up their garden so that there always is a Spot to sit in the sun (by the barbeque, by the fireplace, on the terrace, down by the water, ...). We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed fishing and the canoe a lot.

The house is in a fantastic setting, Meréte answered very quickly, clear instructions, the house was perfect and according to the photos and even left us some soft drinks in the fridge. Highly recommended, I will definitely return. Thank you very much.
