Holiday rentals with lake access in Ballarat

we loved everything about Samantha's cottage. it was very clean and had everything we needed. close to the lake and the shops. we'll be back

The house was beautiful, even better than what we imagined from the photos. Would definitely love to visit again. Parking during daytime was an issue being on one of the busy roads in Ballarat but otherwise it was perfect.

Stunningly renovated and styled property. We were there in autumn which meant we had the good fortune of experiencing the stunning garden and beautiful Daylesford in all its glory. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our Easter stay. Loved the Kennedy Smith hand soaps and diffusers, the ample blankets and the fabulous vinyl player! Such a treat to have Beethoven playing all day in these beautiful rustic yet sophisticated surrounds. Walking distance to everything. Please continue maintaining St.Etienne to these high standards. We fell in love and hope to be back soon.

This is a beautiful house in the peaceful neighbourhood that has a close proximity to all you need in Daylesford e.g. supermarket and town area. We highly recommended! Andrew is also proactive and provided a clear instructions and communication for our stay.

Jennifer and David’s house is a fabulous place to stay in Daylesford! The house itself is modern, clean, spacious, has excellent amenity, and special bonus features including pool, spa and sauna! Communication was easy, always prompt and informative. Will be back. Highly recommend!

Valek has great taste and this stay had a lovely homely, relaxing feel about it right from the front beautiful front gates. Our small group of friends could not find fault with anything and would love to stay again in the future.

We stayed over the long weekend Hubby and I felt right at home it was warm and toasty on arrival. We loved the cottage as it was cute and charming surrounded by beautiful Australian flora and fauna. The lake was in walking distance and the Main Street was only a couple minutes drive. We had a lovely stay at this beautiful home in Daylesford. Communication with the host was excellent—friendly, prompt, and helpful throughout. The house itself was spotless, spacious, and felt very much like a home rather than just a rental. It’s in a great location—close enough to town for convenience, but still peaceful and quiet for a relaxing getaway. One of our favourite touches was the guest book filled with stories from other people’s stays—it was heartwarming and made the experience feel even more special. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Daylesford!

Had a wonderful stay, the place was everything as described, spacious, very clean and well equipped with everything you need, and we especially liked that it was so close to Lake Daylesford. The balcony backed out onto the lake and was the prefect spot to relax and watch the sunset. Something to note for anyone with mobility issues, this suite (3) can only be accessed by a slightly steep flight of stairs which proved to be a little difficult for my elderly mum, would’ve have been great if this was included in the details beforehand. There also seemed a slight problem with toilet seat (wasn’t fitted properly) and some information contained in the ‘information file’ in the suite contradicted with the details (check-out times) that was provided. However overall, we had a fabulous stay, it is a gorgeous place and would definitely recommend!

Booked this property for my parents to stay on their wedding anniversary. They were very impressed with the property and loved their stay. It had everything they needed and was in a beautiful location. Communication was prompt and booking was very easy. Would recommend!

Great place to stay, so clean and the beds are lovely and comfortable. Response time was amazing and so quick too. We felt right at home. Love the home touches with plants and the dvds and games collection was amazing too. We loved the board games and wish we had more time to play them.

The lakeside suite was serene. Tidy clean and quiet with a beautiful view of the lake. The lakeside suite is walking distance from Vincent Street and the lake is easily accessible. The decking could do with a little bit of TLC and being on the lower level we could hear our neighbours above us. Nonetheless, our stay was lovely.

Our stay at this property for nearly two weeks was a pleasant experience. It was well maintained and we were provided with all the facilities specially to feel comfortable during this winter. They were responsive for inquiries as well. Location was peaceful and safe . I would highly recommend this place for someone to stay in the heart of historic Ballarat city.

Beautiful outlook over Lake Daylesford, fabulous large balcony to relax on. Easy to walk around the lake, and up to the restaurants and shops. Spacious bedroom, bathroom and living space. Super comfortable and clean.

The house is clean and peaceful, beautifully located by the lake. It’s especially delightful to take a stroll at sunset. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to visit again in the future.

Thank you Neal for a lovely 2 night stay. The accommodation was very cozy with the fire going on arrival and a good supply of wood to keep it going. Newstead is a quiet town where you can go walking along the Loddon River and the house is in a very quiet and private setting. We really enjoyed the little extras such as chocolate and biscuits etc. I would definitely recommend staying here as it is only a short drive to Maldon and other beautiful towns.

Great place especially with the fur babies and they were welcomed! Stephanie was a great communicator and always on hand if you needed something ! Very private regardless of the number of cottages on site! We will be back ❤️

Great place close to Sovereign hills! The house is exactly like the pictures and really clean and cozy. Beds were also super comfy with heating under the beds to keep you warm and toasty! No complaints about this place at all. Very good! Thank you Linda! My family had a really comfortable stay.

Lovely place to stay. Very well equipped. Comfortable and so very clean which is so nice. Close to road so can hear cars/trucks. Enjoyed my stay!

Great location easy walk to the main area. Only a small house, but served our needs. Even though it was a cold weekend, the heating was able to get the house warm. Would stay again!

Ideal spot to enjoy the walking paths around Daylesford, plus lovely and warm at night.
