Holiday rentals with breakfast in Ballarat

Trevor’s house was absolutely stunning. Very clean and beautifully renovated. Plenty of heaters to beat the Ballarat chill! I highly recommend this house.

We stayed in the cottage for two nights over the Ballarat Marathon weekend. It was very convenient to the town centre and very comfortable. Most importantly the cottage is dog friendly and we were able to bring our two dogs with us to stay. The beds were comfortable and the surroundings very quiet. The dishwasher wasn’t working during our stay but Sue advised us before we arrived so we weren’t caught off guard . Overall a good stay.

Perfect for a rainy long weekend! We were given the perfect amount of firewood/kindling for our stay. We were kept very warm (which was much needed this weekend)! It was super relaxing listening to the rain pouring in the roof of the cabin. During the day we explored Convent Art Gallery & the Mill Market. At night we enjoyed choosing from the provided DVDs what to watch! Perfect place to switch off :)

Although attached to the main house the accommodation was extremely private and in a beautiful setting with lovely views. We didn’t get to enjoy the outside decks due to the rain but were extremely happy to laze near the cozy wood fire and use the luxurious bathtub. Everything was absolutely spotless, the bed was very comfy and the fresh eggs, yummy bread, wine & chocolates very much appreciated. Thank you Michelle for a very peaceful and relaxing weekend. The house was beautiful, even better than what we imagined from the photos. Would definitely love to visit again. Parking during daytime was an issue being on one of the busy roads in Ballarat but otherwise it was perfect.

This is our second time staying at Karen and Trevor's house over the long weekend and honestly we wouldn't stay anywhere else. Its a short drive to the shops, quiet street and the house has everything you need, for adults and children alike. We would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here and the fresh chicken eggs morning is the icing on the cake!

Second time staying. Everything nice and clean. Fires were set and plenty of wood. Grand children enjoyed the toys especially the soft toys and marbles. Nice collection of sausage dog draft stops. Very comfortable with multiple heating options.

Just a lovely tranquil place with beautiful furnishings …lots of lovely details such as breakfast sachets of porridge(great for the cold mornings) and milk in the fridge…coffee pods for the machine etc Lovely comfy beds and old style heavy cotton sheets…great toiletries etc…totally loved our stay!

Debbie’s place was just perfect. We were lucky to find this gem last minute. Debbie was very welcoming and helpful. The place had everything we needed, was very clean and super cozy (with an extremely comfortable bed!). The provided snacks and breakfast were delicious. The property itself and surroundings are beautiful, perfect for walks and exactly right if you’re looking for a relaxed getaway. Our dog was also very welcome and loved exploring the place and meeting the alpacas and Debbie’s dogs. Creswick centre is a very short drive away and has great cafes and pub. We plan to come back and stay for longer. We would definitely recommend Debbie’s B&B.

Super location for walking to Trentham -4 minutes. Comfy bed and good linen. Breakfast provided was very handy. Loved the wildlife just outside of the accommodation .

Great place, central to the main street. Nice and warm on an extremely cold weekend. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Exceptionally awesome stay we had at Smyth Creek and Colin was super host full and genuine with his interactions and ensuring we had the best time possible. His place both indoors and outdoors, are way better and more cosy than what you actually see from the pictures! So rest assured to go with your booking as I am sure you will not regret any bit of it :)

Villa Nova was the perfect little getaway for my partner and I, and we were sad to have to check out and say goodbye to it! Everything from the welcome antipasto platter, breakfast basket and other goods in the fridge, to the thoughtful firewood provided for the fireplace, extra blankets for the cold and Kathy's warm welcome just made our weekend unforgettable. The conversion from church to B&B is impeccable, the bathroom and kitchen were pristine, the place had everthing we needed and was amazingly clean and comfortable. Kathy was the most thoughtful, friendly and communicative host - she made us feel right at home from the time we booked. The gated yard was perfect for our dog as well, and we can't wait to visit this peaceful sanctuary again, sometime soon. Thank you so much for the lovely stay, Kathy and Rob!
