Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Balnarring

This is our second time staying at Denise and Henriks airbnb. The home is so welcoming and comfortable and has everything you need for the best stay. The kids had so much fun playing in the backyard and with all the toys and games provided inside. The home was so clean and easy to make yourself at home. The artwork is beautiful too. A short walk to the beach and in a quiet neighbourhood. Denise and Henrik were very easy to communicate with and ensured we had everything for our stay. We'll be back again next year!

Great weekend at Rhyll. Spending time with friends and exploring Phillip Island.

I loved Merelle’s stunning light filled and perfectly decorated mid century beach house and wish I could have stayed forever! It had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay from the well equipped and stocked kitchen to the comfortable chairs in the sitting room around the fireplace , canoes /kayaks and beach chairs , washing machine/dryer and old hills hoist and outdoor setting as well as a functional yard for our dog. She has incredible style from the beautiful linen to the retro furnishings and is very eco friendly and an absolute pleasure to deal with, responsive and friendly and very generous with early check in and late check out without even having to ask. And the area has so much to offer / so much to see and do on the Peninsula all within a half hour drive. I will be back for sure! Thank you Merelle 😁

The house was absolutely perfect for our 4 generation family, especially our toddler granddaughter who loved being so close to the playground. Some of our group enjoyed a round of golf at Cape Schanck while the rest of us walked to the dog friendly beach for a swim then ice-cream at the General Store. The house was perfectly equipped with everything we could possibly need and the bonus of being able to bring our dog and know she was safe in the back garden. James and Julie responded very quickly to any questions, it was a wonderful weekend and we hope to return one day. Thank you

Every now and again, you book an Airbnb that makes you realise it is such an amazing platform to explore corners of Australia and meet actual owners of lovely homes - that was this place. Sam and Shane were so welcoming, allowing us to arrive early and leave late which really really helped with our 10 month old bub who has a very specific nap schedule, and make the most of our short weekend away. They even had small gifts for the 3 girls in our entourage and a gift basket of goodies for the adults - we were blown away and so touched. The house is very cute, the beds were comfortable and clean, the kitchen was well equipped. We didn't end up using the fireplace even though we wanted to and Sam and Shane left us plenty of firewood (reason: tiny kids). The yard was perfect for our dogs - separated into a gated fenced area and a non-fenced area. It would be a beautiful space to hang out in during summer.

Michelle's place was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed. The photos don't do the house justice it's more beautiful than the photos depict. We brought along our pet dog and she had a great time exploring the secure yard and sitting by the fire. I would definitely boom the house again if I was staying in or near Somers.

We had a brilliant stay at Diana’s house for a very special milestone birthday weekend. Diana was responsive and comprehensive in the detail she shared and tips for making the most of our stay. The house was beautifully cosy, but plenty of room for a couple of families comfortably. The views and outdoor area were especially spectacular, so peaceful and ideal for our young kids to run around (and the grown ups to play some lawn games!). This home was an absolute gem peaceful, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed with high-quality touches throughout. From the luxurious bed and crisp linens to the plush couch and spotless bathroom, every detail made the stay feel indulgent and comfortable. One thing that really stood out was the water pressure strong enough to actually wash your hair, which is surprisingly rare in most Airbnbs. And unlike many places, there were no leaks or awkward plumbing quirks in the shower just clean, functional design. The host was warm, responsive, and genuinely accommodating, making the experience feel seamless from start to finish. This place is a perfect escape for couples looking to unwind in comfort and style. I’ll absolutely be coming back 5 stars, hands down.

We had a great time at the Portarlington National Celtic festival over the June long weekend. To top this off our very comfortable accommodation was a highlight. The Hosts have put so much effort to make their place a home away from home and it shows with every thoughtful detail . Certainly would recommend to anyone wanting to stay and also explore the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula. Hopefully we can return for another luxury escape !! Rgds Margaret & Bob

Comfy and cozy accomodation in a great location. The airbnb was in a great spot and was super clean and tidy. Alison was well accomodating with check in and check out times to ensure we could be ready for out even in time. Great stay

It was a last minute getaway and was just perfect. Exactly what we wanted and expected. Cold enough evenings to make the most of a fabulous fireplace. Lovely open space. Perfectly equipped kitchen and walkable distance to shops and beach. It was also a perfect secure home to bring our dog.

We had a wonderful stay at Ria's place. The house is exactly like the photos, beautiful, luminous and well equiped. It has everything you need (even an office!).
