House holiday rentals in Balsam Lake

We had a large group with young children and babies and enjoyed our stay. The house is very spacious and pretty clean overall. Tien was very responsive and gave clear instructions/directions. A few items to note for prospective renters (this info is on the listing so it wasnt a surprise and didn't take anything from our 5 star review): - water is not potable so you need to bring your own drinking water - the lake frontage is very shallow and weedy, not suitable for swimming. it is also disconnected from the main lake so you can't dock your own boat. there is a small culvert that small watercraft can pass under to the main lake - a reservoir that pumps water from a well serves as the water supply, and could run out, but we had a large group and didn't have any issues.

We love the location and the large TV and couch! Tristan was also pretty responsive, overall a great place to stay at over the weekend away from home! Btw, I’m a fan of the pillows!

lovely spot for some quiet outside time. backyard is spacious and welcoming. plenty of options for seating to enjoy sun or shade. kitchen was absolutely amazing to prepare food in, well organized and nicely laid out. rooms were tidy and clean, plenty of space to sleep 6 comfortably. would highly recommend this spot

This is a wonderful Airbnb in a really special place away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You are in a quiet location within easy access of trails where you can run or walk and if you like to ride, there are plenty of equestrian places providing this facility including part of the Airbnb itself. Youssef and his family were welcoming and on hand to provide advice as needed. That said, they were never intrusive. The accommodation is spacious and homely and you certainly do not feel like rushing out but rather enjoying the facilities. There is everything that you could need for a short or extended stay. Towels were plentiful as were shampoo and lots of extras in the bathrooms and kitchen. The heated pool is a real bonus for children or adults that like a daily swim and although shared with the family, I never felt restricted in its use and loved the fact that it was heated so was comfortable regardless of the external temperature. A wonderful stay and perfect host.

We went to this cottage for a beautiful romantic weekend getaway and we were happy we got that. The owner of the cottage Necker was very kind and helpful, absolutely loved the place and there was plenty of water activities to do. It was easy to check in, communicate and plenty of peaceful vibes. Recommended 100%, please go visit this cottage it is very well worth it. P.S: we loved the character of the cottage with little artpieces and wall art from all over the globe 🌎.

They were great hosts and responded quickly with any of my needs they made it very special for my 4 year old sons birthday and left him a little note with a couple treats which was an awesome surprise everything that was explained in the listing was there and it was a great vibe and experience we will be back 100% ! 10/10 must recommend folks ! Great host, great location, we enjoyed our stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at “Robins Nest” ❤️ The cabin was even better in person than the pictures showed ! It was quiet and peaceful and definitely felt like a home away from home. Our only regret was not booking it longer! Robin was very thoughtful in leaving welcome treats and a bag of coffee for us upon arrival. She was very responsive and always quick to answer any questions that we had.

We had such an amazing stay at the A frame! Everything looked ever better in person than in the photos:) The hosts were super responsive and accommodating!! Would definitely come back<3

This was without a doubt the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever been in! It was such a beautiful space. The view was unmatched and there was lots of room for all of us! We definitely plan on going back during summer months. May long weekend this year wasn’t warm and we would have loved to enjoy sitting out on that dock. Will definitely be returning!

This place is a gem. The way it's purched on the rock with the decking - it's really unique. The interior is even nicer than the photos too. Top Airbnb.

From the word go, loved the vibe Sarah and John exhibited via their communication. They were personable and descriptive in providing tailored suggestions, suiting our travel. Had a beautifully crafted guide that covered a wide range of topics around the house and in and around places, making things easier and clear. Upon reaching the house, the first view of Lake Cameron is awesome! Check-in is easy and digitized and the house is supremely clean. You sense it being setup with love and care with nice paintings, modern yet thoughtful furniture and all kinds of amenities placed precisely, where needed. Must congratulate the duo but also their team who does a wonderful job! Definitely going to book again. P.S. - Don't forget to checkout the amazing backyard. Awesome for morning walks :)

This was one of the most beautiful Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at. The fall colours were amazing, the property so peaceful. Kaitlin’s home was very spacious and clean…. It was a lot bigger in real life than what I imagined from the pictures. Kaitlin is a great host. She was very quick to respond to any of our questions. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

Had a great stay during a long weekend with my girlfriend. The place was clean, the view was gorgeous, and the public access point was great for people watching. Met the owners and they were very friendly too.

Addie’s home is beautiful and provided a nice getaway for a relaxing vacation. Addie was always responsive and answered any questions we had within 10 minutes. Highly recommend staying here!

Renne is a fantastic host. Quick to respond and very helpful. The cottage was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. There is lots of outdoor seating options which was one of our favourite things. It was an amazing place to have a family getaway. We will definitely be back next year!!

Booked Ken’s place for a friends birthday. Place was beautiful - had everything we needed. The spa amenities were amazing!! Sauna, hot tub and cold plunge. Also, house is on the river!! We all really enjoyed our time here, would definitely look into staying here again! Thanks so much Ken for hosting us!

I have been up this way a few times but never found a place I would want to return to until now. Liz’ space was ideal. It had everything I needed, plenty of fun decor, a responsive host, and extra little touches like milk for those who want it with their coffee and lap blankets. We stayed at this beautiful cottage for 3 nights with a group of 10 ladies, and it truly was a fantastic experience. Cottage was exactly as mentioned on the site, very comfortable and spacious and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. From the cozy common areas to the well equipped kitchen and serene surroundings, everything contributed to a memorable and relaxing stay.
