Apartment holiday rentals in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto

We came by taxi from the airport. Antonietta waited for us in the apartment and told us about what we saw around us, gave tips on restaurants and told us about dishes you should try when you are in Aci Castello. The apartment was well equipped, but we were probably too late to use the mosquito spray. Walking distance to Aci Trezza and Catania is also not far away (by bus). After purchasing swimming shoes, we tried a small swim in the sea that lies just below the apartment. Here it must be said that we had problems both getting in and out of the sea due to large rocks that had to be forced. The apartment is well equipped and we bought food and ate breakfast "at home", also made a couple of dinners in the city to eat out. The terrace was fantastic and we sat outside all the time, except when we wanted to watch the national match between Norway and Italy (which Norway won). I highly recommend both the place and the apartment.

We had a wonderful stay at Alessio’s apartment. It is beautifully and tastefully decorated and looks even better than in the pictures. We especially loved the rooftop terrace. The apartment is very well equipped, from a fully stocked kitchen to a washing machine, everything you need is there. The location is ideal for discovering the area, whether it’s exploring Capo di Milazzo or taking the ferry to islands like Lipari and Vulcano.

Wonderful stay! I took my mom to Sicily for the first time and this was a most ideal place and setting. The service and attention was exceptional and made you feel right at home upon arrival. The room seemed like it was newly renovated with nice modern furnishings and technology and also immaculately clean. Perfect patio view of La Isola Bella. The outdoor pool was clean as well. If you chose not to rent a car you can take a bus which picks you up about halfway down the hill and it takes you to the beach as well as the center of Taormina. I would return here anytime. Need a car to stay here, easy to miss the entry road, but once you’ve got it it was all good, the apartment was very clean well stocked with facilities, no wifi, aldo left me some nice gifts for arrival coffee, water, wine !!!! Thank goodness, if you arrive on Sunday afternoon, pick up your food on route the shops locally are closed when you are tired and hungry aldo sent me details of shops that was great. He’s an excellent host and communicator, the views !! Oh my lord, they are truly magnificent! I want to live there! The sofa beds take some adjusting to, but ok, quiet area and neighbours perfect tranquil place, shops short drive away, and you are central Sicily to explore days out. Fresh Italian coffee on the balcony in morning Lovely just lovely. Good hot water/ shower washing machine, lots of cooking /serving utensils and crockery, cleaning equipment. Aldo was always helpful and kind which I appreciated as a lone female traveller, nothing is too much trouble. Loved it ! 🥰

Luca was an excellent host, communication was excellent throughout and he even provided me with tickets to the Taormina international film festival one of the nights of our stay which was a terrific bonus. he also allowed us a late check out which was very helpful. Our stay in beautiful Tropea to attend a wedding was made even more special with our Stay at Casa Belvedere. Christina’s beautiful apartment exceeded all our expectations itself, along with its superb location. Mimma who assisted us with everything we needed upon arrival and during our stay was the most adorable warm hearted lady, which only elevated our stay even more. We absolutely loved our stay at Sara House. The setting is stunning, and we really enjoyed spending our time around the pool during the day and walking into Taormina in the evening. It is a short 15 minute walk, albeit quite hilly but we found it a great way to walk off our dinner. Sara was an incredible host, very friendly and helpful whenever we needed her. Thank you for having us!

Very nice, very clean, very good equipped and designed apartment. We can absolutely recommend to stay here! Beach, supermarket and good restaurants are available but ideally you have a car.

Recommend Antonio’s apartment very highly. The parking (which is extremely difficult to find in Taormina) is safe and away from the street, which is very useful, and absolutely necessary for anyone traveling to Taormina in a rental car. The room itself was extremely clean, attractive and comfortable, and well-located: steps from the main street but removed, so things are quiet. Air conditioning is good as well. Antonio personally was very helpful and easy to reach - his help with the car especially made everything much easier. If you are driving to Taormina, this apartment is perfect, and great even if you are not.

We loved our stay here. It had the most incredible view that we didn’t want to leave. Super easy access to the beach and the cable car into the town centre. Recommend staying here over Taormina as it’s away from the tour groups and craziness so it is really peaceful but easy to get to town for dinner etc. The rooms and kitchen all looked over the ocean, were clean and well maintained. Pietro was an excellent host and made everything simple. Even had a beautiful antipasti platter for us on arrival. Would visit again!

Alessandro's place was everything we expected and more, right on the seafront, with loads of fantastic restaurants, grocery store and few shops all on the doorstep. The Apartment, was peaceful, and had everything you need for a great holiday, home from home. Alessandro was great at recommendations, but as he said you can't go wrong with any of the restaurants and cafe's Giardini Naxos, is a really lovely place to stay, always felt safe walking around night or day, Taxi to Taormina costs 25 euro to beach 30 euro to the town, during the day but at night is around 40Euro So much to see and do on the island, which is absolutely stunning We used Sayonara Beach, Geovanni and staff were great too, great advice and not a rip off, they have a cafe and restaurant, with all the facilities needed for the day, and is only a five minute walk. Will definitely stay at Alessandro's place again and highly recommend.

Had a wonderful stay, perfect!

Tina is a very kind host. She met us at the port and accompanied us to the car rental. On the way to the accommodation, we have already received many good recommendations for sights, restaurants and more. The accommodation is very quiet, is in impeccable condition and has a fantastically beautiful view. However, the access is challenging. Our small rental car seriously pushed the slope to its limit with 2 people and luggage (older Fiat 600)

We had a great time at Claudio's apartment. It is located facing the sea, quiet and in close proximity to the city center and restaurants. Claudio was very welcoming despite the late hour we arrived. The apartment is very well equipped and very clean.

We had a wonderful stay! The picture window and balcony made for an amazing view of the town and ocean! The apartment was well stocked with everything we needed!

Francesco and Sofia are very friendly and welcoming people. Their apartment is in a very nice location, very quiet. We have no criticisms. An address to remember, to pass on and certainly to come back to. They clearly do this with heart and soul!

Our stay was amazing. the apartment was beautifully decorated, you could really tell they put a lot of work into it. very luxurious but still gave a very cozy and comfortable vibe. the hot tub was really the cherry on the cake. The location is perfect for people who are looking for a place where to relax but also have a bit of night life. lots of shops, bakery's and restaurants around where you can try all the typical sicilian food. The rocky beach is barely even a 10 minute walk and it's just simply stunning, you can smell the ocean breeze even from the apartment. My husband and I, with our one year old, had an amazing time at Dario's! His apartment was pristine, so tastefully decorated and perfectly equipped with everything you might need. Location wise - could not be better! We are already discussing when we will return. We could not recommend this more!
