Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Barcelos

What a wonderful place. Overlooking beautiful green country vista. Incredible outdoor space with endless lawns, a gorgeous swimming pool and an outdoor dining area with BBQ setup. The indoors is small but cleverly designed. We had such a great time, we just wished we could have stayed longer.

The stay was simply perfect! The space is huge, a real farmhouse, surrounded by nature and with a peace that makes us really disconnect from the world. The house is comfortable, well-equipped, and everything was neatly clean and prepared with great affection. I also recommend the activities organized by the host — we took a horseback ride on the beach that was simply spectacular, an unforgettable experience! It's the urge to come back in the summer to enjoy the pool as it should. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful place to stay, central location in the region. We visited Braga and Porto and further north. Nice recommendations from João and he was always responsive with communication. Best to have a small car as the road up is steep and narrow. The house and annex are very comfortable and well equipped.

A perfect place, we went with our family with our 3-year-old son, fenced garden area with trampoline, pool, slide and swing. The accommodation is carefully decorated, between modern and old with exposed stone, overlooking the church steeple! We didn't have time to taste the leitão, but one thing is for sure, we'll be back

We absolutely loved the stay at the House of Silence. The location was beautiful, and we were enamoured with the house itself - it was obvious to us that it was put together with a lot of taste, care, and attention to detail. We were warmly greeted when we arrived and afterwards were in frequent communication with the owner, Eleonor. We can't recommend this place enough.

We really enjoyed being greeted by the owners in person. Slightly out of the way accommodation but the city center is easily accessible on foot. An Intermarché and a bakery very close to the house.

Edouardo's accommodation is very good, the kitchen is spacious. The bathroom is equipped with everything you need (laundry, toilet paper, towel, shower gel, etc.). The apartment is well located, close to the sea and activities

I spent two months in the apartment – it became my Portuguese home. The apartment is well equipped, you will find everything in it. It was new, tidy, but it's better to have a car for accessibility to the city. If I come back to Portugal, I will definitely come back to the same apartment as well. Communication with the hosts went smoothly. I didn't mind the ground floor location either, the balcony is facing to enter the building, I never had a problem. Across the road is a market, Lidl is 6 minutes by car. I recommend the apartment by all ten.

We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment was cute, and Maria was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is in a rural enclave between Braga and Barcelos, providing easy access by car to surrounding towns. There are three large comfortable bedrooms, a dining room and a large terrace with a great view. The bathroom was newly renovated. A few things to consider: the gas stove was fine, but the oven appeared to be wood-heated, so not practical. One of the 2 bathrooms was outside the apartment, in a shared space downstairs. The pool, instead of a standard above-ground swimming pool, was more like a raised pond. It was good for a dip, but it wouldn’t have been good for small kids (no steps or shallow end) or for swimming (too small). The animals were super cute though city folks like us might be awoken by the roosters ;) There was also noise from the nearby highway. On the whole, we were happy with our stay and would stay again! A cute, convenient apartment with a lovely host :)

A wonderful accommodation, with a beautiful and relaxing garden, with fruit trees that you can try and the truth is that it is great, ideal for the whole family, if you are looking for a place to disconnect from the city and its hustle and bustle this is the perfect place, its hosts Olivia and Salvador are charming, super attentive, kind people. Undoubtedly a recommendable place to repeat, it gives you peace, we will definitely repeat.

Everything about it is excellent

We had a great stay, the accommodation offered was totally in line with what we had seen in the photos, very clean with good quality furniture, very quiet. The house is beautiful, very well maintained and the garden superb (congratulations to the owners for the maintenance!). André and his wife are very pleasant and full of attention (for example we received mint and lemons from their garden). Although the house is inhabited by the owners, the private garden of the accommodation and its separate entrance give a real feeling of privacy. Access to the pool is very appreciable when it is hot. Although the accommodation is a little far from the shops (only a bakery and pharmacy nearby), this is largely offset by a very quiet and relaxing environment for a vacation! We'll definitely be back on an upcoming trip to the area. Thank you André for your welcome and see you soon!

This was a very nice brand new apartment, well equipped. I don't think I have any better for your comfort in Braga! In itself, you will quickly go around the city, but the location is perfect 5 min walk from the tourist area in town. 10/10!

There were three of us women friends going to start the Camino Walk. It was the best experience. Philip let us check in early as we had a red eye from Toronto. Paula met us early and helped us check in. The condo is gorgeous. Perfect for us. So clean and do equipped. From the beautiful towels to the plates to the beach chairs. Everyone was wonderful. I couldn't recommend it more. ! Location location!

All I can say is wow! We spent 11 days staying at Adriano’s apartment and it felt like home! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in such a well equipped Air BnB. If you could think of it, Adriano had it. In the bathroom there was shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer and hair straighteners. In the kitchen there was every utensil you could think of and more, I think you could cook a full Sunday roast dinner and have every pan and dish required! We are a family of four, with children aged 5 and 7. They made the most of the swimming pool during our stay and the beach. The pool is cool but refreshing. The sea was like ice but we made good games of jumping the waves and splashing one another. The beach is less than a five minute walk from the apartment and is a must during your stay, even if it’s just to watch the surfers fight the waves. It’s a very peaceful beach! Adriano is a great host and very helpful. We will be looking to stay again if we come back to the area!

Joao was a super great host, very helpful and very flexible on check in which he met us personally to give us a walk through of everything. Very responsive and the place was perfect with a little garden to have coffee in the morning. Great location and enough provisions for our short stay. Highly recommend!

The apartment is very cozy, clean and very spacious. A very communicative host, responds quickly to messages. We received very accurate directions to the apartment, which was very helpful. Location a short walk from the center, but for us it was not a problem - we wanted the apartment to be close to the university (about 10 minutes walk to the university). I would definitely recommend this place!

Excellent villa apartment, I would not add anything. if I return to Braga will undoubtedly be the place where I want to stay.
