Our eco-wooden house is located in the small town of Süderhastedt between the Kiel Canal and the North Sea. We ourselves live in Hamburg and have discovered this region away from the tourist hustle and bustle as an oasis of peace and a counterpoint to the big city. In the morning the rooster crows, in the evening the flames crackle in the fireplace and at night a heavenly peace under a clear starry sky. After the unfortunate fire of our cozy thatched cottage, we now have a light-flooded wooden house.

In the district town of Heide, 20 km from the North Sea, we offer part of our house as a complete, completely separate residential unit of approx. 120 m2 for max. 4 people. The apartment is located in a quiet residential street, about 15 minutes walk to the Heide center/market square and is very convenient as a starting point for walks in the moor, forest and for bike tours. Bikes can be stored and the car can be parked right outside the front door.

Vacation in our "little house"

Our "little house" is decorated with a lot of love, just as we would also decorate a vacation home for ourselves. It is in the village, but quiet with views of horses & cows. You have your own garden that you can use for yourselves. The 210 sqm, ground-level apartment can accommodate 9 people. 4 double bedrooms and one single bedroom. The 25 sqm terrace is a wonderful place to relax. The outdoor sauna invites you to linger. Welcome to our little log cabin! The accommodation is part of our Quellental forest estate in Odderade, Dithmarschen district and is located in the middle of a forest clearing, nestled in a picturesque pond area. Our forestry operation is part of the largest forest area on the North Sea coast, the Riesewohld. Here, 700 hectares of partly uncultivated, natural forest invite you to linger and explore.
