The cottage is a Grade II listed barn conversion offering a welcoming base for your stay. Heating is provided by a biomass boiler, so very eco friendly. There is also a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. We are in a quiet village called East Cottingwith: a fantastic base for visiting York and touring Yorkshire. Ideal for cyclists, bird watchers, walkers and anyone who wishes to enjoy a rural location close to the attractions of the city of York. There is no regular public transport.

Shower room ground floor; bedroom upstairs. NO ADDED CLEANING FEE, except for dogs. Allerthorpe is 5 mins from Pocklington, with local amenities & Pocklington School. Only 25 mins from historic York. Perfectly placed to explore York, North York Moors, East Riding and the Coast. Great walking country!

Beyond is Langton halls back lawn which leads to 20 acres of parkland for you to explore at your leisure. Located within our grounds is an idyllic waterfall- perfect for picnics.
