Stayed here for the long weekend to do a few activities in the area and have to say that the space was amazing. Would 100% recommend anyone coming to barrie to come stay here!

Clean , cozy place with all the amenities you'll need. Short walk to a public little beach. Even our Molly enjoyed exploring the fenced in yard and local trails. Cheryl R.

This was hands down the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in, spotless from top to bottom. Everything was incredibly neat, well-organized, and thoughtfully labeled with clear instructions, which made our stay seamless and stress-free. Mary truly went above and beyond in every way. She was super responsive when we had questions about local fishing tackle shops, and her attention to detail in the home was amazing. She left us a selection of teas, snacks, travel-sized lotion and hand sanitizer, and other small touches that made the whole place feel like a cozy hotel retreat. The neighborhood was peaceful and within easy walking distance of the lake a perfect location to unwind. Would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a caring host.

Chelsea’s place was absolutely beautiful ! Upon walking in the house, the view of the water is breathtaking and did not get old each morning while sipping our coffees. The home itself was very homey, and a great wide open space for gathering with friends. Chelsea was super helpful when booking, made recommendations and was super responsive during our stay with any questions we had. I would highly recommend a stay here - can’t get much closer to being “on the lake”!

Wonderful stay! Our host Dylan was very quick to respond and extremely accommodating. The home fit our large group comfortably. The home was spotless, beds were very comfortable and we appreciated all the little extras (lots of towels, warm blankets, coffees, teas, little treats) Hot tub was very relaxing and clean. Lots to do, we all enjoyed ourselves and we’re already planning our return stay!! 😊

This has been hands down the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. Dawn and Rob have truly thought of everything to make the space feel like home! They were very quick to respond to questions and had great recommendations for the area. The entire place was well stocked with everything you could think of including board games, cookware and much more. We will definitely be back!

We had a really nice time at Marias place. It's calm, cozy and has a great location. We liked the restaurant nearby and the walks at the seaside. Marias recommandations for activties we're also very helpful, espacially guests with dogs are very welcome! The communication with Maria was very good and fast because she told us everthing in advance.

A fabulous beach front location, within steps of a sandy and shallow waterfront. Tess and Jeff are great hosts and extremely helpful. The accommodation is super cosy and much bigger than expected. It had everything we needed and more! The kitchenette may be small but it is well stocked and we didn’t have any issues with cooking. The BBQ is a gas one and very good. We enjoyed eating outside on the large sized deck. Even though it’s shared with the owners, the privacy screen was ample. The beach was pretty quiet and made for a relaxing stay. We sadly didn’t get to witness any sunsets since it was a little cloudy, but you can see how amazing it would be! Thank you Tess and Jeff for your kind hospitality.

Myra is a lovely host and the space is beautiful. The basement unit is cool, private and well laid out. I greatly appreciated the stocked tea cupboard and the complimentary shower toiletries. The toilet paper and towels were beautifully folded and it felt like a staying in a very private hotel space. Myra was communicative, kind, quick to respond and checked in to make sure that everything was comfortable. Expectations of the space, and the check in/check out instructions were very clear. The unit was incredibly tidy and clean- clearly well loved and cared for by the host. Myra is clearly dedicated to making sure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed. The resort itself was beautiful and had such a peaceful and charming atmosphere. The amenities were great and very clean. It’s an amazing place for families, especially with kids — lots of space and activities to enjoy. We’ll definitely come back again and would highly recommend it to others!

I was so happy to find Carol’s lovely, cozy, homey cottage. It has a warm, welcoming feeling the moment you step through the door. I think it’s all the beautiful hand hewn wood and stone features that give the cottage its immediate warmth. It has everything you need for a great stay. And I love being able to throw open all the windows and feel the fresh air. One of my favourite birds is the chickadee, and it’s delightful to sit and watch them come to the window feeder. Your idea of adding a hummingbird feeder is lovely. I really appreciated that Carol made sure to explain that this is not a high end, fancy place … but a quiet, serene, comfortable haven. I will definitely contemplate another visit to this welcoming little cottage that is so easy to call home for a quiet retreat. Without meeting Carol personally, I have the sense that she is a lovely, warm, caring person, who is attentive and committed to providing a welcoming and comfortable space for a quiet get away. We had a wonderful winter getaway at Woodward by the Beach! The home was beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. It was clean, nicely decorated, and well stocked with the essentials. We especially loved the fire! The host, Kevin, was extremely responsive and even took the time to provide us with recommendations for snow tubing, tobogganing, restaurants, and cafes. The home is in a great location and there are no shortage of activities, restaurants, and shops within short driving distance. We can’t wait to come back in the summer! Thank you Kevin!

Chris and Katie were very prompt in responding to an issue during check-in, which shows they are highly reliable hosts. The Bluestone provided a stay was very cozy and peaceful. It had everything my fiancé and I were looking for in a getaway from the busy city life. Would love to return again someday.

My friends and I stayed here for a winter weekend away and it was just what we needed/wanted in a little cottage. Great location for those coming from the GTA and nice and close for those in Simcoe. Once we got there we felt right at home! The hosts had cleared the walking paths and back deck of any recent snow fall which made it nice and easy to get inside and enjoy the grounds. They went above and beyond by having the wood burning stove going for us when we checked in which made CARL that much more cozy and welcoming. Communication and instructions were very clear and detailed from start to finish which made the whole rental process easy and enjoyable. My friends and I look forward to coming back to CARL in the future!

We booked this cottage on a whim with virtually no notice to the owner who was flexible with our check-in making it worth our 1 night stay. The cottage is so spacious with lots of room to lounge, eat and sleep. It was clean and comfortable. The waterfront is the real MVP here - pristine water, pure sand, great doc and decks.
