Holiday rentals with lake access in Ontario

Julia is a fantastic host! This is our second time at her property. Julia is very quick to respond to any questions. The Airbnb is very clean and spacious. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the dishes and small appliances we needed. The view from the sunroom is spectacular. We really enjoyed going for a hike from the property to the Conservation Area. At night, we enjoyed our campfire in the backyard. We absolutely enjoyed our time at this property, and we hope to return again. I would highly recommend this Airbnb!

Jim was a great host! The place was exactly like the pictures. Beautiful view, we had everything we needed, everything was spotless and the beds were super comfy. Wish we could have stayed a little longer!! Kingsville it s cute town with lovely restaurants a nice shops!

Great rental location , everything you need was made available or within driving distance. The cottage is spacious and allows for a lot of light which is beneficial for those looking for a stay indoors with a view.

Has a real “Wow”factor as soon as you walk in the door. The upper bedroom area is amazing. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The back deck and yard, the view….Wow again. Along with the usual suspects we regularly saw Bald eagles, Osprey, Egrets and a Pelican. The surrounding area is beautiful. I highly recommend Red Door Retreat. Despite how wonderful it shows in the photos. It exceeded our expectations. Would not hesitate to return.

We’re so grateful to have spent such an important part of our lives in such a beautiful place, and we’ll always remember it with love and gratitude. Our first visit to this beautiful home was absolutely wonderful! Lesley and Ian were incredibly friendly, responsive, and hospitable throughout. The home itself is a serene retreat with stunning green views, and it was clean. We especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities, like the availability of kayaks, which added to our enjoyment. Their flexibility and support regarding checkout, even allowing us to enjoy the outdoor space after the checkout time, made our stay even more relaxing. We had a fantastic time and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Derek and Doreen were extremely friendly, responsive, and hospitable, everything in the suite and in the backyard was as shown, if not better. They even gave us a gift as we had mentioned our wedding day was the day prior, couldn’t recommend them and this place enough, we would book again in a heart beat, thanks for everything Derek and Doreen!

This was our fourth visit!! We have now stayed in all four rooms and we were in the King’s Den this time!! It felt like coming home as we were greeted with a hug from Taurean and Robert. We had a peaceful three night stay where we spent our time relaxing on the dock, in the hot tub and paddling the river in the paddle boat. Looking forward to our next visit. Glad to have found this little gem!!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Simona’s place! The property was beautiful with serene lake access, and the two decks made our evening hangouts especially comfortable and enjoyable. The house was well-equipped with all the amenities we needed for a stress-free and relaxing stay. Shauna and Matt’s place is absolutely beautiful! It’s right across from the lake with captivating views. All meaford locals are friendly and there is great food! The home was squeaky clean, had all fresh linen, and decorated beautifully! Definitely will be coming back!

Great place to get away. Enjoyed relaxing days on the dock and kayaking the lake. Easy to get into town. The space itself is beautiful. Large windows but still a cottage charm. The hosts were incredibly responsive! Would happily stay here again.

We spent 4 peaceful days at this cozy cottage and absolutely loved it. The space was clean, quiet, and filled with charm. We especially enjoyed the beautiful views, waking up to nature each morning felt like a true escape. It was the perfect spot to rest, recharge, and slow down. Highly recommended for anyone looking for tranquility and comfort.

Heather’s cottage was amazing! Able to accommodate a group of guests without squishing or being in anyone’s way! A couple little insects wanted to join our weekend but nothing a paper towel and a double wipe with some all purpose cleaner couldn’t beat! After all it is a cottage! Amazing large space (especially that sunroom!) with lots of amenities (the hot tub, chrome cast, indoor speakers and pool were a BIG HIT)! Great for game nights and the sunsets were beautiful. Bunker house was also clean and very comfortable for some of guests to stay in! Overall great experience and our hosts were so nice and easy to talk to. Would recommend this cottage and would definitely book again!

Our group had a wonderful stay at the cottage! Cassidy was very communicative and the amenities were top notch - we enjoyed the lakefront view, kayak, sauna and hot tub. Fresh towels and laundry within the cottage made everything super convenient. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!
