Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Barry County

We booked this for a family trip to see some relatives in the area. There was 4 adults and 2 kids. there was plenty of space for us. The house was beautiful and the outdoors was great. the house you could tell was well loved and had everything we could want.

Despite the short notice, our stay at this place was truly exceptional. The space was not only welcoming but also incredibly spacious, providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience throughout our visit. Every detail contributed to a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it a stay to remember. I would highly recommend this place to others and would gladly return in the future.

Mark’s place was absolutely stunning! Sits right on Gun Lake. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets can be seen from front to back. Extremely clean & full of whatever supplies you may need. Very communicative & knowledgeable of the area.

A wonderful lake house for my family. The house has everything you need. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking and there's lots of fun stuff for playing on the lake. Very comfortable inside and out. We had a great time!

We loved our stay! Exactly what we expected! Plenty of interior space! Bed and bathrooms were very clean. Kitchen had all the tools we needed to cook big meals. The big table looking out on the water was perfect for our family. We also enjoyed finding the Mooville Dairy that wasn’t far. My kids enjoyed the petting zoo and play areas. Very cheap. Ice cream was a hit! We look to go back. Fishing was great! Caught basically all day, especially in the evening right off the dock. Felt very safe the whole time and very peaceful experience. Our crew will be coming back!

This place was perfect for a long weekend away for our out if state family. The Lake was a bit different than the pictures, but the water level is low and no way for the owner to control that. Several neighbors offered our boys the ability to fish from their docks. This was so kind and the kids appreciated it (and caught many fish). We would recommend this place for sure!

We loved waking up to the birds and the beautiful lake views. The house had everything we needed. We slept so well each night. Meredith was an amazing host. We would definitely stay again when we are visiting family in West Michigan.

Our stay at the cottage was eventful as we had tornadoes close by on the Thursday night of our weeklong stay. We lost power and I texted with Justin with immediate response. He continued to text me to provide updates and we worked together to make our continued stay as safe and comfortable through the lengthy outage. The cottage was clean, very well maintained and stocked of kitchen tools and household items. We had everything we needed to help prepare food for our nephew’s grad party. We will definitely recommend this to any family staying at Gun Lake. It’s a great cottage. Try Russo’s for dinner when you stay. The food is delicious AND they have gluten free options!

Cozy and extremely easy to walk to K college, Vine Neighborhood, downtown, etc

We loved our stay! The house is as described in the listing and was very comfortable with amazing decor. Super close to lots of great restaurants.

Everything was perfectly as described! What a beautiful home away from home. The bed was so comfortable, the shower was divine, and the kitchen was chef friendly! Plenty of counter tops and a gas stove (that was a plus!) I wish I could have stayed longer. Close to grocery markets and restaurants as well as a park. Beautiful neighborhood. Very safe.

The apartment is so cute and well furnished. The area can be a little nerve wracking if you’ve never visited down town areas but we always felt safe and it was a good spot right outside of all of the thrift stores or bars. We traveled all over and just used it for sleeping but the apartment was cozy and we always found ourselves turning in early to crash on the couch. Good stay, would do again!

It was a great location and a very nice 2 bedroom unit with a lot of attention to detail. Examples are toiletries, spices and coffee that was really nice as we checked in later in day.

We had a great stay at Diana's place. It was just as described. You even get a spot in the garage. The bed is super comfy. And the location can't be beat. Walking distance to Winchester and Donkey. Diana was incredibly responsive as well. We hope to stay here again.

Stephanie and Chads place has made what has been a wonderful trip, all the better. A perfect apartment in an idilic setting with wonderful hosts. If we get a chance to come this way again, I'd hope to stay with them again. Stephanie was wonderful, from the 1st point of contact. she was soo helpful, she recommended a route from O'Hare airport in Chicago, to her place in Kalamazoo, which put us at ease. the Apartment had all that we needed. it was warm and comfortable at all times as we had weather was 20c and sunny to -3c and snowing. hot water as you needed and in a setting that was stunning on the outskirts of Kalamazoo but 5 mins from where we needed to be each day. We had a garage for our car. washer and dryer for our clothes two bedrooms with double beds and a large living space and kitchenette they had all we needed for it to feel like a home away from home.

Sue’s AirBNB was absolutely lovely. It is so incredibly cute and incredibly peaceful. The backyard is a dream to wake up to with tons of bunnies and chirping birds. We were in town for a high school graduation and this was the perfect stay. Exactly as described and pristinely cleaned. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the ambiance was so peaceful. Sue had tons of thoughtful extras and extreme care with her guests. Also, if you get to meet Sherlock, the adorable lab, he is a real treat! HIGHLY recommend and would definitely stay here again.

One of my favorite AirBnb visits ever. Country cabin feel with modern conveniences and lux hotel touches, like the decor, toiletries provided, nicely rolled and displayed towels and blankets. We loved having the property to ourselves for solitude and privacy. We loved every attention to detail. Very clean. Peaceful. My favorite things: The beautiful cedar interior; the new kitchen sponge; the room darkening shades; the fun assortment of games; the candy, snacks and ketchup, mustard, and mayo provided; the chain lock on the front door that gave me added peace of mind; the yard games; the swing outside; the fully stocked and prepped fire pit; the walking trail through the forest (it loops around so whichever side you start on brings you back to the yard); the outlets next to the beds; 2 bathrooms; and the second light in the bathroom was nice and bright enough to apply my makeup. Only suggestion would be to provide a bucket or shovel to help put out the fire. Five stars plus!

We stayed at Mark's place while skiing all weekend at Bittersweet. We had a great time! Mark was super helpful and accommodating and even offered my husband to borrow his skis :) he hooked us up with discounted passes and had great local recommendations. We'll definitely be back! Thanks, Mark :)

Was in the area for work and found this Tiny house. Stay was very pleasant. It was myself and a coworker who brought their dog. No issues and will definitely stay again.

The cabin is a beautiful property that easily hosted 8 adult men on a golf outing. The cabin was spotless when we arrived and the basement media room was a huge hit with the group to watch sports, play foosball, and have mortal combat tournaments. There is a selection of fantastic golf courses all within a 30 minute drive, and Grand Rapids is only 30 minutes away as well for dinners, and going out. I'd highly recommend this cabin for a golf outing, and I would gladly book again if I was going to be in the area.

It was a nice little place. My friend and I stayed for the weekend and it was very clean. The day of check in she checked in with me to make sure that everything was to my liking.

Dennis was very communicative and kept in touch throughout my stay. I even had a tornado warning one day and Dennis messaged me within minutes of me receiving the notification to make sure everything was still good. Could not have asked for a better place. It was super close to my aunt and uncle so it was very convenient but for most people they will love how secluded and peaceful it is.

We've been coming here for over 17 years. Great little cottage, picturesque setting with solid fishing. On this most recent trip, The Wailers (formed by Bob Marley) were playing at Warner Vineyards and we could hear that sweet reggae music while we BBQ'd and chilled by the campfire.

This home is quite small, as you can see, but WONDERFULLY stunning and comfortable. Taste and design are meticulous. Very comfortable beds and linens. Great ambiance and amenities. Kitchen and bathroom are both downstairs in the walk out basement, not necessarily a problem for most, I could see the kitchen was down there, but it didn’t seem like the bathroom was. Fine for me, a little challenging at night for my elderly Mom. Otherwise zero issues, gorgeous view, nice amenities, and super responsive, kind and caring host. You can tell they want you to be super comfortable. Will definitely stay here again, probably with my spouse. Perfect place for a couples getaway as well! The primary bedroom with the larger bed is on the back of the house with breathtaking views of the lake.
