Family-friendly holiday rentals in Barry Island

Absolutely loved staying here may bank holiday weekend. Location was stunning, safari tent was great fun. Definitely pack ear plugs as can get a little windy on the night. Can’t recommend this place enough!

6 of us stayed here for taking part in the Dragon ride. Perfect location for this as it's a straight road to the start. The accommodation was everything you'd expect from a farm cottage, quirky, nice layout and great facilities. Easy check in and out, what more do you need! Thanks John/Liz for providing a cracking place to stay.

Lovely cabin with a hot tub with everything we needed for our stay. The 3 Jacobs sheep were a bonus - as was the apple blossom. Impressed at the thought that had gone into make it a lovely environment - just a pity we didn't make it to the cafe bar as it looked great and there were some interesting games to play...just shut a bit early for us.

We’ve just returned from the most delightful short break in a beautiful college cottage tucked away in the heart of Wales. The cottage itself was a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort — tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, and full of character. Surrounded by rolling hills and the peaceful sounds of nature, it felt like a true escape from the everyday. This little haven gave us the peace and quiet we craved, along with the warmth and welcome of a truly special place. We left feeling rested, inspired, and already dreaming of our return xx

lovely little get away with friends. house has everything you needed including tea coffee etc.. would definitely go back. Brian also very friendly and communication was fab. thank you Brian!

We have just arrived home from our beautiful stay at beili glas cottage. An absolutely stunning location and service, peter and lydia communicated extremely well and even got a slightly earlier check in. Very peaceful and couldn't have asked for more. Looking forward to our next stay.

We had a fabulous stay at Deerview Lodge. In a stunning countryside location with views over the fields. It is peaceful, the hot tub is lovely. A very comfortable, well maintained and spotless property. The owner is friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We’ve stayed in lots of Airbnb places over the years and Oak Farm is up there with the best. We had a fantastic week with Alicia & Chris being excellent and friendly hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay extremely comfortable and they were very generous with their time and the extras they provided. The location is superb with outstanding views across the hills, we spent many happy hours sitting in the Sun loungers reading. It’s also a great location for exploring the wonderful hills around Abergavenny . Our dog loved it too with a secure area of woodland for him to play and explore we would love to return one day and will be recommending this place to our friends and family . Incredible stay at a serene and unique location. Wonderful hospitality and local recommendations for hikes and food from the hosts, along with local history. 10/10, would stay again!

Lovely clean spacious with great choice of bed linen. Soak and sleep white cotton. Comfortable beds. Great shower downstairs. I didn’t use the upstairs one to say. Well stocked kitchen Lovely coffee machine Peaceful with good outdoor space.

My son and my friend stayed the weekend absolutely loved the stay at Pete's hes a really great person to get with very helpful, Was always on hand should you need anything his home is really cozy and worm very clean beds lovely and soft had a great nights sleep, I would have no problem recommending staying at Pete's id say 6 stars as the packed over all is superb at a very fear price, We just cancelled are next visit of another Airbnb and have rebooked with Pete's lost have the money we had paid due to cancelling it put we feel Pete's home was the better option, Hospitality second to none it will now be are go to from now on, I strongly recommended Pete's home you will not regret staying in his lovey home, Cart wait for are next visit towards end of June

Leah was very responsive showed us around her place which was beautiful. The decor was homely full of wonderful books. Everything was perfect, she went the extra mile to make us feel at home from Welsh cakes to Lavendar bath salts. Thank you so much :)

What a little gem this place is. one of the best resourced places ever 😁😁😁.spacious and well thought through with very comfortable beds and social spaces. Helen couldn't have been more responsive and kind....and we had a really lovely stay in the accommodation. Village is peaceful and close vicinity to amazing scenery and local walks....top place! Highly recommended....just make sure there is availyfor us to come back 🤣 xxx

We had a fabulous three night stay in the patch cottage. Everything was perfect and couldn’t have been any better. As soon as we walked in it felt homely and welcoming; the amenities were great - though we didn’t use them. Weston-super-mare was but a 15-20 minute drive away. I can’t recommend this place enough, I will definitely be back! Thank you! 🫶🏽

Me and my girlfriend both really enjoyed staying here, the views from the hot tub are fantastic, lovely surrounding areas - especially cheddar! Hosts were lovely and helpful, would definitely come back here again. Thanks for having us :)

Brilliant stay for my mothers 60th. House was very spacious and brilliant location. Check in very easy and straight forward. We had an issue with the upstairs water pressure but the maintenance man came out the following morning to look at it. Would definitely come back. We very much loved our stay.

Great little caravan where you'll feel at home. With kids this location was great, loads to do at the park, and the beach is a good stroll away too. The park itself is one of the quieter ones, which is great when you're travelling with family. If you need to stay in this area I would recommend. The local "chefs corner" is a place where I'd only recommend having pizza 😉 but there are magnificent places to eat around here, some are listed in the guidebook in the property. Thanks to Rihanna all aspects of the stay went very smoothly.
