Cosy Rural Cabin with Private Hot Tub

JamesRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a lovely stay in the cabin at Water Hall Farm. The cabins are beautiful and surprisingly spacious, fitting the four of us fine for 2 nights. The hot tub, which was prewarmed, was a relaxing addition and the views to the surrounding hills and Sutton Bank were stunning. We managed to have a BBQ and fires on the fire pit, for which we had plenty of logs. The place is very family friendly, with some goals and balls out on the field in front and lots of animals to see in the fields around. The kids loved it. We will likely be back!

Luxurious Cottage in North Yorkshire

MikeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Fantastic out-building conversion, with a private garden and fenced area separating the property from neighbouring houses and the shared drive. The property is modern, extremely spacious and very well appointed, with pretty much everything you could think of.....Flo even left us some wood for the fire pit in the garden and fuel for the Eco-Boiler, as well as Kitchen essentials. Comfy beds, spacious bedrooms (including an en-suite), and a stunning open plan living area that blew us away. There was very little in the village, but the quiet and peace suited us perfectly, and the area is beautiful. The recommendations for local places to visit were also greatly appreciated. Definitely somewhere we would recommend and return to if we are ever in the area again. Thank you for such a great visit.

Cottage in Leavening, gateway to Yorkshire Wolds.

When we arrived at the accommodation we were a little anxious about what we would find behind the scruffy looking front door - however, the accommodation suited us perfectly, with a nice suprise or two, and the welcome from Dan and his team far than made up for the lack of paint on the front door!! We would definitely stay here again and can’t fault the food and Guinness at the pub next door (where Dan is chef). Only complaint would be that we didn’t experience a sunset evening, but you can’t have everything can you?!

Cottage in North Yorkshire

We have thoroughly enjoyed an all too brief, relaxing stay at Tarrs Yard. From entering the charming cottage, to leaving, one can't fail to be impressed by all that Lizzie and Andy have so stylishly created. The helpful, informative folder inside the cottage provides for guests' range of interests and enables visitors to capitalise on the hosts' wealth of knowledge and experience of the area. We can't wait to return and anticipate discovering more of what this area affords, whilst assured of a restful, peaceful property to daily return to. Thank you to you both for our introduction to North Yorkshire.

The Applebarn is a cosy little Holtby Home

Lovely little cottage, everything you could need for a relaxing break. Spotlessly clean and tidy - absolutely perfect. It was also lovely and warm, and the bed was so comfortable!! There’s a DVD player, a CD player and a collection of discs to play - quite a novelty these days! We came by train, as our car gave up the ghost a few weeks ago, but this was no problem, as there’s a bus stop just 10 minutes away All in all, we would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing break. Thank you both.

This was our second stay at the property and it was just as brilliant as our first. Plenty to do within driving distance and a lovely local area to go walking. The property is beautiful and our 5 year old boy loved it even more than last time.

Crumbleclive Cabin

KatRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
After a hectic weekend, a couple of days at Aidan's place was peaceful and relaxing. A truly rural retreat, this is very much the cabin in the woods that the photos show. Aidan met us and showed us the ropes, and got the woodfired hot-tub on the deck going for us (which was amazing!). Surrounded by trees, and with the sound of the river below, this is the ultimate in peaceful relaxation. If booking, make sure you come prepared by bringing towels and fuss-free food. There's no fridge and kitchen per se, but there's an icebox and ice can be provided. Cooking is possible on the wood burner inside, and there's a kettle and toaster. A wonderful experience and we'd love to come back and explore the surroundings more!

The Stables with Jacuzzi & tennis court

VictoriaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We really appreciated the little touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The jacuzzi was lovely! The hosts were great at providing us with all the information we needed for a stress free check in/out and a perfect stay. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mini break. Peacocks were a lovely surprise seeing them walk around the estate. Thanks again!
