Townhouse holiday rentals in Basel

A beautiful house, nice for a small family. A little cool when we arrived, but we had booked at the last minute.

This was my second stay at this place. It is at a great location. I can fully recommend it.

Our team of five had a fantastic stay at Kirstin's place in Lorach, each with our own room, plus the sitting and dining room, two bathrooms and a lovely garden with seating. The house was homely, clean and spacious, with all the facilities we needed - everything you'd hope to find in a family home. Kirstin was incredibly nice and provided great communication. Kirsten provided us Basel travel passes on arrival at the house, which we used throughout our stay. Although our conference was in Basel (which is easy to get to and has excellent public transport), we actually spent most of our time in Lorrach, as it turned out to be a beautiful town with fantastic shopping, restaurants and pubs.

We have come to Lionel's several times and everything went very well as the other times, I always recommend this listing

We had a wonderful stay in the cute cottage and felt very comfortable. The furnishings were lovingly chosen and coordinated, everything you could wish for and need was on site. The accommodation is located in a quiet street, the town center and restaurants are within walking distance, by car you can quickly reach interesting destinations in France, Germany and Switzerland. Thanks also for the nice welcome and the good communication, we can only recommend it.

Katja‘s placebos truly a gem. I felt right at home and enjoyed every chat we had with great recommendations from Katja. Location was perfect for me to go back and forth between Basel but also the Vitra campus.

Good value for money for money for money. Hosts who are welcoming, responsive and also discreet. Accommodation excluding noise disturbances, and located close to bakeries, restaurants and shops. Hiking in the area, this Airbnb has assets for a good rest.

Delphine is a charming hostess who cares about you. She even prepared a small snack for our late arrival. the typical old Alsatian house is full of charm, cheerful and comfortable, you feel good right away, with a very warm welcome.

It was great, we were spoiled with a bottle upon arrival. Everything went well, the house is very well equipped, quiet and spacious. The only thing is that there are only toilets at the appointment and in the bedroom at the top. The church when you're not used to it can wake the chickens. The click on the ground floor is very small, not possible for 2 people. We adapted and had a pleasant stay. Very welcoming home, I would highly recommend it.

This is very comfortable staying! Host and her family has very nice hospitality to the guest. Host cook crapes for me and serve many kinds of jam that they make by themselves and it has been so delicious! And they bring me to the next distinction by car because of the difficulty to access. I’m happy to talk with them. I recommend Anna so much!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Julia and Markus' place. The house is even more beautiful than in the pictures: it's spacious, beautifully decorated and the garden is a lush piece of paradise with plenty of sun and shade. Conveniently located close to public transport, it's easy to explore Basel while also enjoying the peace and quiet of Binningen. On top of that, Julia and Markus were great at communicating and making us feel at home. They provided us plenty of recommendations, checked in regularly before and during the trip and even got us some groceries so we could enjoy a nice brunch upon arrival! They truly went above and beyond. We couldn't imagine a better place to stay, or having better hosts, for our stay in Basel.

We have already been to Anh several times. The house is very clean, you even get slippers so that you do not have to enter the house with your street shoes, we 👍👍always find the accommodation sparkling clean. Anh is very nice and very communicative. We will be happy to come back on the next chance.

Heike was always easily accessible and friendly from the beginning. The property was as described and very clean! The cats there were totally cute and sweet. We had everything available. Terrace is beautiful and generally also the apartment/room. We are always happy to come back here and look forward to the next visit. Best regards, Antonio and Bianca :)

Location cannot be beat - gorgeous gardens, well appointed kitchen, right on the river, grocery store, bars, restaurants close by. We rented the entire house - if you didn’t, you’d be sharing the shower room and the kitchen.

I had a great stay at Toms and Angelas place. They welcomed me in such a friendly way, I got some tea and something sweet to eat. I love the place, it’s like a Walhalla and as I was going to Joe Dispenza, this Airbnb was the best place to stay, high vibing energy! You can easily walk to the center or take the tram, but I preferred to walk. Also if you’re going to Joe Dispenza, you can walk to the place easily and avoid waiting for the crowded trams at the end :)

The place was really safe, comfortable and we felt right at home! Katharina and her partner were friendly and cheerful. Their house is just 2 min away from the train station so it was easy for us to go around. There's a small note: Check the train's hours carefully! We stayed at Katharina's house for only 2 nights but everything was super good 🥰
