We had a lovely 4 nights at Maria, enjoying relaxing at the beautiful terrace and jacuzzi. Would love to come back again!

Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. One of my best experiences ever . Irati was absolutely superb from start to finish an excellent communicator and nothing was too much bother . The cottage was delight ful and the scenery was amazing . She even organised our taxi in and out of the city not to mention booking our tables at the restaurants we ate in . Out of 10 I would give her 11

Fantastic hospitality the people of Catalan are very friendly and the property was amazing but you definitely need a car to stay here as there nothing around no shops

We had a great weekend at Itxaso's place. We were very well received and received helpful recommendations about Bilbao and the surrounding area. The accommodation is very great and with several separate rooms it is perfect for larger groups. We didn't use the outdoor kitchen, but here there are good opportunities to cook some lovely meals. Would, however, highly recommend the restaurant Asador Bidegain which is 2min away from the accommodation. The only challenge we had was getting a taxi booking when we were going to the city center. The Spanish skills of the taxi drivers are very limited so calling to book a taxi was difficult. Uber and Bolt did not work In any case, we got very good help from Itxaso who drove us down to town so we could arrange a rental car. Great service!

The stay at Carmen's place was great! Communication with her from the first moment has been very good and has clarified all the doubts that could have arisen for us! The house is great and has enough space for all the guests it marks in the description. We have gone with two babies under 2 years old and they have also really enjoyed the stay! The shame is that it has made us bad weather and we could not enjoy the garden but we did not have the bbq of which the accommodation has. All the stays are equipped with what you need and the heating in autumn winter works great! The environment of the place is beautiful so in good weather it has to be a joy to enjoy it! Wow, what great house. The location is absolutely stunning in a little village with beautiful mountain views. The house itself is great—they’ve done a great job renovating and the whole thing feels very new and fresh and clean. A perfect place for a peaceful escape. Great communication as well. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at this house. It is spacious and very well equipped, nicely furnished and it is pleasant to stay there. The garden is beautiful and we enjoyed it, the covered terrace allows you to eat outside even when it rains. The host is very friendly and accommodating.

Brilliant place to stay, 40 mins from Bilbao, nice and quiet countryside location, the next village has a couple of bars and restaurants and a really nice bakery.. Alberto’s house was beautiful, I will definitely be back in the future… even message me the best ways to get to Bilbao stadium and home on European cup final night..

the house is great for groups (up to 30, I think they come in without problems) has a spacious dining room, lots of crockery, BBQ area and spacious garden! the only one but the bathrooms are outside the bedrooms.

The stay was great. The host Luis Mari super willing and friendly. The place is spectacular surrounded by nature and calm. We will be back for sure!

Myself and my extended family (including a toddler and a baby) stayed in Lucía's place for 5 nights. We loved it. Very spacious home with a nice private outdoor area. Also a covered outdoor dining area. The house was a very close walk to Mioño and about a 30 minute walk to Castro urdiales. There was plenty of parking outside the house. I would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to relax with your family that feels rural but is still close to amenities. We loved our stay

Very good quality accommodation. We were delighted with the house and its surroundings. We didn't lack anything and if we had any problems, Egoitz solved them very quickly and accurately. Our host, Egoitz, was super friendly and super attentive (he even left us a list of places to go). The wonderful house with almost all the rooms with their own bathroom. There are several villages nearby (very nice) with everything you need to buy. And highlight the cleanliness of the house and its surroundings. In addition to the detail of the eggs that he left us from his own chickens. The children were delighted with the donkey and the sheep (an unbeatable environment). Thank you very much for everything, and if we return to Bilbao, I would already know where to stay again.

This house was absolutely breathtaking. Although it is not in a main city it is definitely close by and worth a stay. This place overlooks a beautiful vineyard and makes you feel like you're in a little oasis. The outdoor entertainment was amazing with an outdoor kitchen and barbecue that allows for wonderful nights enjoying your time. The views are incredible, the town is peaceful. Hosts were extremely kind, helpful and gave great recommendations.

Great house for exploring a wonderful area. Easy to walk into town, 15 mins. The local trains are great value. Great beaches, cycling and walking. House was ideal for us. Balcony has the best view but perhaps needs an upgrade. Javier was very helpful, brews good homemade wine.

We were 4 families (4 couples with 4 babies) and we were very comfortable!☺️ The accommodation is in a very quiet area It has two wonderful terraces and a large garden. The BBQ in good weather is a joy, as there are several tables outside with enough chairs to enjoy that moment all together! All the rooms are spacious and have enough space to move around without any problems, and the beds are very comfortable too! The layout and signage they have used within the accommodation is very comfortable and clear, which makes Jaime's directions easy and comfortable to understand☺️ Jaime has responded quickly to all the questions that we have had. From the first moment, Adela's service was very good, very communicative and she answered my questions. The accommodation is great, everything is very clean, tidy, it has everything you need (and more!) to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The fireplace is a plus at this time of year (December). The common area is spacious, two open kitchen and living room rooms, very comfortable when it comes to being in the accommodation. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable beds, everything was clean and in order. The bathroom is somewhat narrow (it depends on each person's taste), although the shower is wonderful. The window didn't open and it was the only drawback I found. Everything else was magnificent. The village is quiet, in a beautiful valley, with possibilities for sports around and tourism (Bilbao 30min, Vitoria 40min...) I would recommend this accommodation because I was very satisfied and because I would repeat if the opportunity arose. Thanks Adela, especially for accepting Baio and Lea ❤️

Beautiful place to be in nature, the nearby village has sea and several places of interest. The house is very complete, to live it for months, is like being at home.
