Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Bath

The Barn is situated in a peaceful location with superb views of surrounding countryside and host’s kitchen garden. Extremely well equipped decorated and furnished to a high standard. I can’t imagine anyone not able to enjoy their stay here.

We loved our stay here. The place was cozy and had everything we needed. Location was perfect - very convenient for exploring Bath. Garden was a bonus - Kids enjoyed watching the chickens. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting this area!

A fantastic stay! The Dove Cote was stunning, looked exactly like the pictures and was spotless. The directions were clear and the property was easy to find with a very smooth self check-in process. We enjoyed walks around the farm and into Saltford - definitely recommend The Bird for a pub dinner and The Little Coffee Shop for a coffee. We absolutely loved our stay, it was the perfect few days away in the most peaceful location. Would definitely book again!

We had a fabulous stay at Dickon’s place. It was in a great location being in walking distance of all the downtown sights, but is on a nice quiet street. The back garden is lovely and we enjoyed some of our meals there. Space was very clean and comfortable and felt like quite enough room for us (we had 4 adults).

This cute cottage is normally fully booked, so when I was up this way for work I was very excited to see there was a rare space! My second stay here and yet again a fantastic one! A lovely little cottage that you just can't not like!

Such a beautiful location with all the amenities you could wish for. We had a great sleep in the comfortable bed with coffee, tea, and fresh milk dropped for our morning cereal. Highly Recommend! Try the Salutation Inn for their grilled Hake.

Ali was very friendly and helpful and communication was great. The house has a lovely bright and large kitchen with bifold doors onto decking and garden with great views. The decking was a lovely place to sit. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds are comfortable and the showers are good. The location is great: it is a short walk down to the canal and then you can walk into Bath centre along the canal, which is a lovely walk that takes about 40 minutes. Would recommend and would stay again.

Amazing location in Clifton, in the heart of Clifton. village. The flat was so quiet and peaceful at night, it was perfect!

Dan & Natty’s place was a great spot for exploring Bath! The whole flat was beautifully presented and had everything we needed for our visit!

This was a wonderful property located in a quiet part of Bath in the North end of town, a stones throw from the Circus, a little further to the Royal Crescent and Victoria Park. There are many top notch restaurants within a few block radius, but it is a much more low-key, relaxed vibe than the tourist section of Central Bath near the major attractions and pubs. Nearly everything you’d want to see is in walking distance, but if you haven’t been before, be advised that Bath is very hilly and you’ll be walking up the hill from many parts of Bath to return to this property. Ubers abound in Bath if you need one. Alison was a wonderfully responsive host who provided a great list of recommendations for the area. I highly recommend this property if you are spending time in Bath.

Really cosy, comfortable lovely barn, set amongst picturesque lakes and commutable to lots of gorgeous towns.

Central, accessible, one flight of stairs with double hand rails, worth writing codes given, in notes or paper for easy access. Well thought out beautiful design, very comfortable accommodation, will definitely use again, 24 hr parking at the gallery multi storey. Ideal for weekend break or a few days away!

Good location and clean house

We booked here as two couples and had an amazing stay. Jacqui met us when we arrived and was very friendly and showed us what we needed to know. Everything was spotless and it is a very peaceful area. The swimming pool is fabulous and very well kept. The kitchen has everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will be recommending to friends and family.

Lovely stay. House was spotless and very spacious. The estate has great facilities (pool, spa, tennis courts, etc) and we loved having access to the lake for paddle boarding. Would recommend the private chef from Ballihoo on the estate. Alasdair was a very helpful and responsive host.

We had a lovely time at calm waters, the house is beautiful… the pictures don’t do it justice! The best thing about the house was the rooftop that gave us somewhere to sit in the sun all day, whereas other houses in the lake only benefited from morning or afternoon sun. Very enjoyable stay. Jan and team were very responsive throughout our stay. The villa was fantastic, beautiful rooms, spacious and lovely view over the lake. Would definitely consider coming again in the future, and the family all loved the place!

This property is amazing for all ages - we celebrated a birthday here and had the best time. The property is large enough that everyone has their own space but cosy enough that you still feel “together”. The location is beautiful and we made use of the pool and the lake. Lots of stubbing places to see locally and plenty of great restaurants. Recommend!!

I truly believe David’s home “calls you” when your soul needs peace as well as David’s intuitive advice. I have never stayed at a place where the host is nearby (never mind in the same property) and yet, at David’s house I felt extremely comfortable and safe from the start. The house, amazingly located at the feet of Tor’s grounds, is beautiful inside out. It has everything I needed for a pleasant stay, such as, comfortable beds and linen, as well as, a large family kitchen to cook. Yet, its energy, specially in the living room, and garden grounded and soothed my soul. David, the host, gave us the space and privacy needed when one’s on a break. However, he also was a wonderful listening ear and amazing source of advice. Overall, it was a truly amazing stay and I cannot wait to return soon again.

A beautiful bright spacious modern house with wonderful views across the lake. It is just like the pictures or even better. The lounge and bedrooms are so comfortable and the kitchen is wonderfully equipped with everything you need. Communication was excellent. I would highly recommend staying here.

Just spent a lovely week at Jan's in a party of 13. Beautiful house and gardens in a very peaceful location. Garden was huge and had wonderful views of the lake. House was equipped with everything you need, even down to shampoo and extra bath sheets for the jacuzzi! Will definately be visiting again. Thank you Jan.
