Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bay of Biscay

Chris and Lotte have done a fantastic sympathetic restoration, of a very fine and spacious 1930s house, in a secluded and tranquil setting. It makes a perfect base for exploring delightful local surroundings, or further afield to the likes of San Sebastián. Chris and Lotte are very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Carmen’s stone cottage is a peaceful and magical place. We felt like we were living in a fairytale setting, as though we had been transported to Snow White’s cottage. Beautifully and faithfully restored and decorated to the last detail. We loved the quiet setting with nothing but cowbells in the distance. Carmen was very responsive and friendly.

We had a wonderful stay! The pool and jacuzzi are great, exactly as in the photos. The small studio perfectly matched the description and was very comfortable. Animal lovers will be delighted: Madison and her little four-legged companion are absolutely adorable and helped make our stay even warmer. We would have gladly extended for an extra night as we felt good here. Thanks for a great experience!

Very nice stay despite the weather that did not allow us to enjoy the beautiful exterior. Attention: the 3rd double bed is in the common area.

We had a lovely stay in Natalie and Yannicks beautiful home. The accommodation is very spacious and comfortable and very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. Whilst attached to their home, privacy is assured. We had e-bikes with us which we were able to keep safely under cover. Our hosts provided breakfast every morning which was exceptional with fresh fruit, cereals, bread, croissants and yoghurts. La Rochelle is an easy drive of 10-15 minutes with much to offer. We cycled most days from our accommodation on some of the many quiet roads and cycle tracks around our location exploring the small villages around the area; the coastal cycle track is easy to get to. However, the best part of our stay was the friendliness and hospitality of our hosts Natalie and Yannick who provided us with good advice and recommendations. There is no doubt that if we find ourselves back in the La Rochelle area we would love to stay here again.

100 % recommended! We really loved this place. The studio is spacious and has a lot of charm. Valérie is very responsive. Groceries and restaurants are in walking distance. Go for it.

We really enjoyed our stay at picabel. The location is quiet and has a beautiful view over the mountains. Perfect to relax. A car is necessary to get to the location, but it's perfect spot to depart from for different hikes in the neighborhood. Parking is also foreseen at the location. The jacuzzi is a nice addition to the airbnb. Our host was very responsive and welcoming.

Juanjo was waiting for us as we arrived in the car. The place is really peaceful and when you open the doors all you can hear are birds singing and cowbells. We stayed for 4 nights and the apartment had everything we needed. Juanjo gave us lots of information that was helpful and he is very friendly. Cheers Tony and Karen.

Very cozy accommodation in a small atypical Basque village, very clean accommodation, very quiet... accommodation very well equipped with appliances. Everything is available to spend a pleasant stay, covered terrace... Everything is well thought out for our dogs, fenced garden, hair blower and vacuum, bowl etc. made available to us. 3 night stay facing the ocean! A real treat to be able to put the car in a gated parking lot and do anything on foot. The Apartment is perfectly located in Biscarosse Plage. Clean and decorated apartment with taste. There's nothing missing. The converted terrace with ocean views and the setting sun is perfect. The instructions left by Lydie were clear and accurate and we were able to find it without difficulty and access the accommodation very easily. We had the pleasure of interacting with her when we left. We'd be happy to spend a few days here again.

There's not much more to add to my last review. After digesting this dream of apartment, the decision was made directly after 5 days to return here and enjoy an extended vacation. Of course, Rafael has done everything this beautiful place has to offer. His open and very polite manner completes my vacation perfectly. This airbnb is a balm for the soul!

Spectacular. Very clean, tidy, in a nice place and next to the beach. The kitchen and grill are fully equipped and all facilities. The deal with José has been unbeatable. If we have the chance, we'll do it again.

Lovely house in a fantastic location! We loved having the cat to look after too! Walking distance from shops, bars and restaurants but house location is in a very quiet street near the sea. Also walking distance to the train station which made enjoyable days out in Bordeaux and also Arcachon possible. Would highly recommend.

great stay after a remarkable welcome. Maud and Yohann welcome us as friends, very considerate and very discreet as well as children. Very considerate Liam towards our 5-year-old great-granddaughter including pool games, slide, swing. We will keep a great memory of these 3 days in the barl, a breakfast dropped off every morning discreetly. Maud and Yohann are looking to please. We wish them many successes in their generous projects to stimulate skills. We can book with your eyes closed ... and what quality of sleep in this nature!

My partner and I had a very good stay. We felt very relaxed in Sarah and Fernando's estate. They were very nice. The view from the cabin was beautiful. Great place to disconnect!!!

The stay in Luis's cabin was fantastic! A spectacular natural setting in which it is located and which the host has created within the estate, with an artificial river next to the cabin, a lot of trees of different species, and abundant vegetation. It makes you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. In addition, you have a very special experience with a night bonfire (which he himself lights), to make a "route" through the marsh in Kayak (he helps you from the farm itself, even with children, as in our case), or to go to an impressive cove from the cabin itself, along a path with a lot of charm, in just 10 minutes on foot. You have different spaces to rest, eat, play, sunbathe, cook, etc., and it includes some more surprises... The cabin has everything you really need, both in toiletries and kitchen products. A stay unlike any other, very complete and full of activities and surprises.

A timeless place, where the soul breathes 🌿💫 This cabin in the heart of the woods is much more than just accommodation: it is a true interlude of harmony, a return to the essential. Surrounded by the forest and the river of almost unreal beauty, we felt a deep connection to nature... We were able to enjoy an aperitif on a boat, rocked by the water and silence, which gave us the impression of being alone in the world, the evening by the fire, the walks in the beautiful forest with our dog, who also loved the experience... We only spent one night there, but our minds stayed there much longer. Thank you to Abigail for sharing this beautiful place, for this luminous and rejuvenating experience 🤍

We had a super time, very relaxing, just wish we would have stayed longer! We particularly enjoyed watching and listening to the wildlife looking out over the lake. The Cabana has a special place in our hearts. We hope to return again in the future 😊
