We had a great weekend at Virginia's place, the kids enjoyed nature, we were able to fish and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, Thanks, we'll be back with pleasure.

Perfect stay in a beautiful rural part of France. All D-day and other historical events within easy driving distance with Bayeux 10 mins away for meals and shopping. Recommend you use a bike to explore the local areas.

A cottage of great beauty with technology (Tv, internet, jacuzzi) and rusticity (fireplace, half-timbering, nature)! A peaceful and warm place. Available and very pleasant staff, from check-in to departure. This is a place that we recommend without hesitation, and where we will be very happy to come back!

Fantastic house in a great location. So much for the kids - the playroom has an incredible assortment of toys and the trampoline is perfect for hours of fun. We drove to Lisieux every morning for the most amazing baguettes (Boulangerie Pâtisserie "Aux délices d'Athénaïs") and also took trips to Deauville and Caen. Kitchen and BBQ are wonderful for cooking, and fireplace easy to use. Pool wasn’t able to be heated during our stay as the overnight temps weren’t warm enough, but we enjoyed the hot tub.

Very quiet and relaxing countryside home, if you don’t mind the church bells, next door, tolling every hours and half hours. The house has been renovated with brand new kitchen and bathrooms. The hot water capacity is adequate (the majority of homes in France we stayed at allows for warm shower enough for one person, not this one) Régine is very sweet and quite accommodating. We felt at home, the moment we arrived at her property. Thank you Régine for sharing your gut with us.

super relaxing and pleasant stay. Deborah and Jean are friendly, responsive, attentive hosts. Their house is just the best to get away from the noise of the city. A green plot to get some fresh air and super good local products. (cider, apple juice and apple jelly) the accommodation is located not far from Bayeux, the landing beaches and Caen. spacious and very well-equipped accommodation. brochures of activities to do in the area and books available if we return to Normandy, it will be at their place without hesitation!! i recommend ++++

Especially practical: free parking directly nearby - and the beach is just a few minutes' walk away! Villers-sur-Mer is a charming, quiet coastal town on the Côte Fleurie in Normandy. Ideal for relaxing, walking on the beach or for excursions in the area. Nearby are beautiful places such as Deauville with its elegant promenades, Honfleur with its picturesque harbor flair and Cabourg, which invites you to stroll and enjoy. We had a nice relaxing stay at the gite. It is quite remote and not walkable to any restaurants or amenities. But it’s an easy drive to Omaha Beach, Bayeux, Utah Beach and Saint Mere Eglise so a great location for exploring Normandy. We enjoyed our visit to Normandy and loved sitting on the deck in the morning sunlight before our day.

Good value location for exploring area by car. Compact but well equipped apartment. Only negative was advertised as three beds, but sofa bed was unusable, so two adult children had to share small double bed

A peaceful haven 7 minutes' walk from the city center. The house is well-equipped and the private garden is very pleasant for meals.

Easy to find, thanks to accurate information. Parking is available with lockable gate. House alarm protected (operation good after first false alarm;-). Amenities as in the description and more. Kitchen great for cooking and eating (enough space). Sleeping in good beds (large with good bedding). Rooms are good. Only drawback, as old building, it creaks the floor, which is audible throughout the house. So if the toilet is done at night, the others can hear it. Otherwise total silence and tranquility. Living room with TV (also DVD) and foosball table is very comfortable. Pure tranquility. If the weather is a little colder, then the available heating is on hand. Particularly noteworthy is that the 4 of us are in agreement, is the location. We had the pleasure of being there during the D-Day Festival (5/31 to 6/15). All known D-Day places can be reached relatively quickly. There are many restaurants in the area. Castles and other sights. Glad to come back!

Celine spoiled us with great hospitality, a great location and the best French food we had on our entire 10 day trek through France. Easy access to the Normandy beaches and a quiet relaxing location to escape the hustle.

Everything was perfect. The house is beautiful, has all the amenities and is located in the countryside, quiet. Catherine welcomed us with a delicious Maidon apple juice. Thank you very much. We'll come back if we go back to Normandy Switzerland.

This was an amazing stay! Tony was very proactive from the beginning with helpful information and recommendations. The house is nestled in the countryside and would be hard to find were it not for Tony's very clear instructions illustrated with pictures to make sure we found it easily. The location is breathtaking, even in March when spring hadn't quite fruits way there yet. I'd love to return to see the blooms and fruit trees ripening. The surroundings were straight out of a storybook. The interior matched that effect. Rooms held decor featuring bunnies and florals in a true French country style that reminded me of childhood and tales of Peter Rabbit. We frequently saw wild rabbits nibbling the grass outside our windows. It was magical for our children. The house is well stocked with everything you could possibly need and more, even a play area with many toys, games and books. The beds were comfortable and the linens were soft and warm. There was heat & hot water. Highly recommend!

What a pearl on our journey. Caroline and Sarah are offering a well equipped house in an charming area of the Normandy. Stick to their recommendations and you get a wonderful glance at the region and you feel to get friends - they are lovely, arty people loving their site. We where impressed.

Beautiful home, very cozy, clean and lovely decor. Very spacious with everything you need. Has 2 sofas in living room with dining table. Great having two bathrooms and showers, also a bath. Has TV in first floor bedroom, further 2 bedrooms on third floor. Also Kitchen has everything you need including dishwasher, was great having large wine glasses and cups. Has small conservatory area where you can sit and has a lovely outside raised decking with sun beds. Location is great, right next to restaurant, very quiet, did not hear any noise. More great restaurants near by and ideally situated to see all the sites. Good communication from host and good instructions for gaining access to the house, was someone there to meet us who showed us around. Had to ask a question to the host on first day and they were very responsive. Would definitely recommend this lovely house. Thank you Freddy for a lovely stay.

Excellent private & gated location. Great if you are interested in any D Day or WW2 locations. Quiet, 2 bdrm cottage style listing surrounded in lovely gardens. Full kitchen, dining rm, sm sun room, bathroom with shower. 2 bdrms and w/c upstairs overlooking rms below. Fireplace. Space for children to play outside. Our host Lilliane was wonderful.

We had a great weekend, accommodation that matches the description in every way. Well located rental close to the sea, clear welcome booklet and the house is very clean. I would recommend this rental.

We felt very comfortable with Véronique and Rémy and can only recommend this quiet and cozy apartment. They are very nice and helpful as hosts, the apartment was exceptionally clean and is sensibly equipped. We knew beforehand that it is a bit off the beaten track, but if you want to make excursions to Caen, the coast and the picturesque Suisse Normande, it is wonderfully located. The property is like a small park, beautiful, quiet and extremely well maintained. We would book with Véronique and Rémy again anytime.
