Holiday houses in Bayeux

Thank you Isabelle! Our family of 3 had a wonderful stay in your apartment. The bathroom was renovated and very clean, beds were comfortable and the location was extremely central to restaurants, shopping, the cathedral and the tapestry. There were various parking options. We opted for the free lot that was recommended and it was just a few minutes walk away. The only think I would note is that it is on a very busy street so car noise and voices continued until midnight so I was glad to have brought white noise and ear plugs as I am a very light sleeper. We did stay on and Friday and Saturday night so I’m sure that was a factor to the liveliness in the evening ;-). We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

I loved this place ! It was incredibly clean and very comfortable -- especially the bed. The apartment is within walking distance of everything, including the train station. There are great restaurants nearby and a grocery store a couple of blocks away. The pickup spot for the bus tours to the Normandy beaches are just around the corner, as is the Tapestry Museum. The location is just perfect. There are some steep stairs getting up to the front door and within the apartment itself, so someone with mobility issues might have problems, but other than that, this apartment is a 10\10 for me !

We had a wonderful stay at Noella’s place. She was so kind to go above and beyond and help us transport some of our bags from the train station. She was also very patient with us, as we don’t speak French, but we understood enough through context to communicate. The place was very clean and had exactly what we needed for our stay. We had three people sleep in the two beds upstairs and two others sleep on the sofa bed in the living room, and everyone was very comfortable. The only downside was that our stay was so short. We would have loved to explore more around town and I know we would have enjoyed an even longer stay at her place!

Our stay in the beautiful village of Bayeux was wonderful. We were a group of three couples. The accommodations were like new…clean, comfortable and spacious. The location was perfect for our three days. Walkable to sights, shopping, restaurants and night life.

Mireille's home is sublime...so beautifully done and impeccably maintained. The location is great...we had our favorite meal of the trip on the piazza out front, ordered takeout drinks from the bar downstairs, bought fresh flowers and fruit from the farmer's market out front and sent our kiddo for pastries each morning at a wonderful bakery nearby. It felt just like home, if home was in France! But the even brighter spot of this stay was Mireille herself. She was very responsive, even giving traffic guidance on checkin day due to a local festival. She guided us to nearby parking, helped with our bags, and gave us a full tutorial on her flat and it's many lovely features. During our stay, she continued to make valuable recommendations. We enjoyed a lovely meal at her nearby Italian restaurant and so enjoyed getting to know her and her sweet husband, Thierry. She took special interest in my daughter which made her feel even more so that she has a place in this big world.

Valerie’s place was perfect for us. It was close to many attractions and close to the train station. Highly recommend!

We had a very great stay in this apartment while in Bayeux. The place is close to so many things and is very walkable. Beautiful surroundings and great, clean apartment. The host was great and responsive. If coming by car, only street parking is available and you may have to walk a few minutes to get to the apartment but we were always able to find parking easy enough.

We loved everything about this beautiful home. It is located close to Bayeux and in the very quiet and safe neighborhood. It is a brand new and in pristine condition.
