Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bayfield County

We arrived at the house in sub zero temperatures and were very happy to be inside the house with the wonderful radiant heated floors. Warm and cozy! Comfortable beds and warm blankets made for restful nights. The view of the bay is beautiful. Moon rising over the horizon reflected on the ice . We heard Great Horned Owls hooting in the distance. Next visit we hope to come in the summer or fall to walk around more and see the lake. Thanks again!

A wonderful modern home in a beautiful setting! The home is setback from the lake a bit with views of the water through the forest. Which is great, because just a short walk along a well-lit path takes you to the fire pit next to the lake bluff. It makes the outdoor living space feel large. Two homes adjacent to the property but far enough to feel private. The home was immaculate on arrival, with new kitchen/laundry appliances. The floorplan is a "U", with each leg of the U being a large bedroom and the center being the foyer, living room and kitchen. A covered porch is lakeside from the living area. Generously sized bedrooms and bunkbed room could easily fit an air mattress or two if needed for additional children. Couch cover was provided for dog. Erin communicates proactively, including reaching out for a pre-order for local farm/fish food options (that was a first!!). Erin also has a website that is a local guide, which is a thoughtful reference when out-n-about. Don't hesitate.

Pete and Tanya were very helpful for our stay. It was supposed to be a snowmobile trip but the weather quickly took a turn. They were very helpful in letting us know the conditions and suggested alternatives.

David was a great host very accommodating. We stayed a extra night and he was very helpful. Would stay here again If Im in the area

Our entire family enjoyed Bay Top Lake house. Beautiful surroundings - coffee on the dock, lunch and dinners on the deck and star watching at night. Private yet close to Bayfield for easy access to Madeline Island and Apostle Island tours. Monica is a wonderful host - great communication and the house had many thoughtful touches. Would give Monica and the home a ten if possible!!!

Beautiful house was perfect for our family. The home was completely updated, clean, and had everything we needed. Adam & Casey were responsive and easy to work with. The area is beautiful with so many activity options. We didn’t get to see everything on our list in a weekend, so we will have to go back, and we would definitely stay here again.

Loved our week at the cabin! We went hiking most of the days and lucked out with the weather the first half of the week. We spent our downtime in the cabin playing games and doing lots of puzzles. The best part was witnessing all of the wildlife that we saw down by the Marengo river such as deer, coyotes, and our favorite: the mama black bear and her cubs! Would love to relax here again!

We absolutely loved our stay here!! The house was spotless and felt very clean! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make meals. We used the jet tub every day, but take note that it takes about an hour and a half to fill up! And I had forgotten my shampoo/conditioner at home and realized too late that there was nothing at the house. So make sure to pack your own! Overall, it was the perfect place to escape with my family! A quiet, cozy getaway. We would definitely stay here again. Our kids were already asking when we’re coming back as we pulled out of the driveway:)

An incredible space at the end of a private drive, overlooking the lake. The space was warm and welcoming, literally and figuratively! Loved the front sitting room with floor to ceiling windows to sit and sip coffee and enjoy the views. The proximity to the neighboring Houghton Falls preserve was enjoyed using the trail on the property. Peaceful, relaxing, made use of the large fire pit outdoors with the lake in the background. Close enough to town if you forget something and need to run in real quick, otherwise peaceful privacy to enjoy nature and the beautiful surroundings.

This is a great space for a group! The pictures don't clearly show how spacious it is. Plenty of room to make meals, lounge, relax in the sun room, etc. It's right off a hiking trail and has beautiful views. Very close to town and walking distance to a delicious little bakery.

Very clean and cozy. The WiFi wasn’t working which was frustrating as there’s zero cell signal. Otherwise it was very comfortable!

Perfect location. Loved watching the boats coming in and out of the harbor from the porch. Place was clean, bed was comfortable and I loved the decor.

Pearl and Jim are great hosts, very easygoing and always helpful. The apartment is the lower unit, exactly as described. From the great window in the main room to the wonderful deck, large bathroom, comfortable bedroom with plenty of closet and drawer space, everything worked well. The garden and lawn that lead down to a small private beach are beautifully landscaped. The apartment was spotless and comfortable.

If you are fortunate enough, to spend some time on Minnesota’s North Shore, you won’t be disappointed staying here. Brenda and Tom‘s place is exactly as described. It is more than we expected. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and a lovely place to spend a vacation. The location is perfect and so scenic! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and even spotted an Eagle! We had a wonderful time hiking and exploring the surrounding area, including Gooseberry Falls, Grand Marais, and the quaint town of Two Harbors.

Such a great location! We just visited Applefest and the Annex is only 11 minutes away. We absolutely loved walking down to the beach, it’s a little private walk down the hill to a secluded beach with beautiful rocks and sea glass. The Annex #1 was the perfect size for two people, and so clean. We will definitely be back next year!

Exactly as listed- wonderful stay- beautifully appointed house! The loft ladder is a bit steep for me, but a great retreat for our teens. Loved the short walk to the sandy beach. Also enjoyed other outdoor attractions including Meyers Beach with a hike along the lakeshore path and visiting Siskiwit Falls and prairie area.

This A-frame is to die for!! Seriously the cutest place. Very peaceful and cozy in the center of nature. You truly are secluded and have lots of privacy. We didn’t realize how far away we were from things but just a 20 minute drive to iron river did the trick if needed last minute things from a dollar general. You’re only an hour-ish away from Lake Superior — it was fun driving through the forest highways! We grilled out 2 nights at the cabin using the charcoal grill that worked perfectly! Host responded fast when we had questions. The bed was so comfy as well! The host has a captioned picture of the indoor fireplace in use but in the book at the cabin you’re instructed not to use it, that was pretty much the only bummer due to the weather being on the cooler side of 50s-60s but we cozied up outside with the fire pit, played games (lots of games and movies host offers) and made s’mores! It was the perfect little getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary! :)

Love! We have shared some of the best life experiences here from our engagement to our baby reveal! This is like our second home and the owners are WONDERFUL! The lodge, food and drinks are all awesome. Great service and will plan to be back again soon!

Very cozy house in a beautiful setting. Location is great halfway between Bayfield and Cornucopia

The stay was lovely. We were able to drive to other locations about an hour away to explore the area up north. The cabin itself was very nice and clean. We were able play and fish in the lake. It was a really great stay to refresh and recharge!

Great winter stay for the Birkie at Sharon's cabin. Overall it was a great experience. Cabin was better equipped and larger than the listing let on with plenty of kitchen appliances. Plus we were able to get pretty consistent cell data coverage (both AT&T and T-Mobile). Beautiful little secluded area that we would definitely come to again. Sharon was a great host and very responsive to messages.

This was our second time staying at this beautiful cabin. It’s perfect for a nice weekend away in the woods. Clean, cozy, and felt like home. And the hosts were lovely. Will absolutely be back.
