We loved the quaint walkable accessibility to local shops and restaurants and loved the morning and evening walks on the beach. The home's kitchen is fully equipped for dining in for any meal, with family space for games, puzzles, or chilling with a good movie....even extra floors for the kids to game upstairs, if that's the thing for the moment. Cozy beds with great linens for a really good night's sleep. Hosts communicate really well. An added bonus is the little Irish Shop (Bridies) below the home. It offers an intimate little flavor of Ireland with beautiful gifts to purchase during an out-of-town excursion. We can't wait to visit again!

Absolutely love this place! Depot Bay, Lincoln City close by. it was a quiet neighborhood and very relaxing! Jim and Rachel responded quickly to any questions I had. Can't recommend it enough! Would definately book again!

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway to Newport, check this place out! We were in town from Bend while working on a remodel of a local restaurant, and this place had everything we needed during our stay. The view of Yaquina Bay from the condo is awesome, and the guys even had a hot tub to relax in after work!! All-in-all, I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Lauri and Daniel.

Such a perfect and peaceful retreat on the Oregon coast! Northon was incredibly proactive, sending us a ton of local recommendations for hikes, restaurants, and things to do. We loved our time here!

This is our 7th or 8th stay at this house. Super private. Nice fenced in area for the dogs. Great deck to hang out in the sun. BriAnne is always responsive to any needs. Ready to book next year.

This house was fantastic. Close to the ocean and easy access to the beach. The house was very comfortable and was nice to have 2 bathrooms. The back yard was fully fence which made it nice for the dogs. It had a fire pit but did not get a chance to use it and also had a hot tub. When the wind was picking up in the front the back yard was calm. That made it nice to hang out back there. Over all it was a great couple of days. Thanks for sharing your place with us and I will look forward to staying again next time we decide to come to town.

We chose this rental for the 6 ladies in our Oregon family for our annual Girls’ Weekend to the coast. This has been a family tradition for 30-some years. This home lived up to the expectations in every way. The beautiful decorating and historic charm provided a comfortable and relaxing weekend for all of us. This is the best equipped beach house we have ever rented for this occasion. It was a short walk to Nye Beach with shops and dining options in Newport. We cannot recommend this rental too highly, and Andrea was very proactive and responsive in communicating with us.

As all previous reviews have observed, the privacy and the unique situation of the house at the very edge of the dune system is the attraction of the place. You have the sense of being at the meeting point of nature and the world as we have made it with all the the comforts of the modern world. It feels like home at the moment of entry, and invites quiet with the distant ocean sounds. We especially enjoyed the very nicely appointed kitchen as well as the collection of CDs as we let go of usual routines.

Our stay was problem free. The house was roomy, clean and located perfectly for a variety of day trips. The beach was beautiful and a matter of steps out the door. We ate breakfast and dinner every day in the house. The kitchen was well equipped. Nothing was lacking in any regard. Loved it, and we are thankful that we had this experience as part of our vacation.

It was great to stay at Cathi's house! Beautiful views over the ocean - and the sea fog. Very personal space, which I always look for in an Airbnb. Lot's of books, great kitchen, good shower. We used the house as a base to explore the Oregon coast, but It would be great also for a beach vacation with smaller kids. I forgot my suit and Cathi gracefully send it to me in the mail. the Chalet was absolutely incredible! the Dude's Abode is in the perfect location compared to the other chalets in the group, as it's at the end of the parking lot & directly facing the ocean. the host provided a huge packet of recommendations in the surrounding towns, and had everything you could ever need inside the unit! this was the perfect spot for myself & my best friend to reunite and have quality time, and the direct access to the beach was everything. can't wait to come back!!

This was one of the best Airbnb rentals we have ever had. The photos don't do it justice. The location is amazing and the house is super comfortable. The view is incredible. We saw lots of coastal wildlife just a few steps out the door.

Loved our stay here. The house has so much character and like so many have mentioned, it’s very well stocked with anything you may need to cook or bake, extra blankets and towels, and games. We have stayed at many Airbnb’s, all with varying degrees of these things, but Colin’s place was up there with availability of needs and comforts. Very responsive to our questions. The location is fantastic. Walkable to the brewery and local market. But also quiet and off the Main Street. Wound absolutely stay here again. And hope that we do.

this place is an absolute gem. the decor is art! I'm pretty sure a lot of the details are hand made like the curtains and the rods, and the entire place has had a lot of thought and a lot of love poured into it. we did the best we could to follow all of the cleaning instructions, but we did forget to empty the coffee basket! sorry! we had a fantastic swim in the sun, played monopoly, watched movies and enjoyed family time. thanks to a pair wonderful hosts that had a well put together list of things we would need, we were well prepared and knew what to expect ahead of time so everything went without any hiccups. thanks for a fantastic vacation! we hope to catch an opening again next year and become repeat guests! we love the siletz riverhouse!

Truly a “Grand View!” Watching the ocean from the house was a relaxing experience. The town of Neskowin is just down the road and the walk to the beach was beautiful. We loved having two levels to the home-it was perfect for our family with adult kids downstairs. Beds were so cozy and every possible item was available in the kitchen for some great meals.

We added 2 extra days to our stay!! The view is beautiful and the beds are comfortable. We liked the low fully enclosed balcony and how it was higher off the ground for a ground floor unit. Possibly 2 feet high. Would work nice for those with young children for safety. We kept the windows open to allow airflow with no AC and felt safe due to the patio being enclosed as well. Some of the other ground floor units are walk out patios and I would not have liked that. Jeannine gifted a bottle of wine and left some great suggestions that we appreciated. The condo has everything you need with many extras in the pantry and front closet. I was pleasantly surprised. It took a few days to spot a whale, but the included binoculars and telescope in the condo was very helpful when we finally did. Pro tip, watch for all the tour boats to gather in one area, it means something has been spotted. Great tide pooling at Fogarty beach(2 miles up the road)during low tide even without a negative low tide

This place was beautiful with a great view. Hot tub in front of the ocean was perfect.

My family and I stayed here for the weekend to celebrate my moms 50th birthday. The house was huge with plenty of space for everyone, did not feel overcrowded. The only issues we had was the microwave was out of order ( didn't know this until after we arrived) made heating up food challenging. 2nd is some of the beds were too firm which made it uncomfortable to sleep on. Overall 5 stars, the location was great, a short distance to the beach and plenty of space for everyone, would stay here again!

Wonderful place near enough to the beach to walk. Super easy check in and check out. The only small inconvenience is the cover for the hot tub doesn’t have a place to sit once you take it off, making balancing it a little awkward.

Perfect place to visit with a family as you have everything you need in your room for an easy vacation with kids (kitchen, laundry, more then one bathroom, site has nice walking path and basketball court, and the 3 pools are a huge plus). Don was very easy to work with and available to answer our questions. We arrived early and asked if we were able to check in Don was quick to respond and allowed us to check in prior to our scheduled time which we sincerely appreciated! His place was squeaky clean and has a great ocean view, can’t wait to book again in the future. Thank you Don!

Jessica is a great host and so responsive. We forgot a card at the house not realizing until we got home. When we messaged she went to look for it, she found it and mailed it to us. This was a gift for our son’s graduation. We were so relieved and this was just the icing on the cake! Great hostess and beautiful home. We will be back!
