Great recommendations for Chateau's, Restaurants and things to do. We had 8 nights and could have easily had 8 more and still not seen a fraction of what the area has to offer. Very private and quiet location. I would give Caroline's beautiful Gite 6 stars if able

A relaxing place with quality accommodation and tastefully decorated. The bedding is extremely comfortable. The outside is great, swimming pool, deckchair, petanque court... Total change of scenery, I loved it

This place is a dream, very spacious, with pool and views over the vineyards and the beautiful salon and very tastefully decorated.- We felt very comfortable!

The place is great. In a private location, with all the peace and space. The arrival through the forest path is very special and from the gate you can cycle on the bike path and make nice trips. The pool is great. The house is comfortable and also very cool on hot days. Olivier and Sheridan are very welcoming hosts and always available for questions. The 2 dogs occasionally show up. They are very well brought up and very sociable and they provide some entertainment. The bakers in Villandraut can be reached quickly by bike (or by car). And in terms of supermarkets, there is plenty of choice within a short distance. We have enjoyed, we will be happy to remember this holiday in gite Gamachot, so much peace, space and privacy you will not find anywhere else. Thank you Olivier and Sheridan, maybe until next time.

Had a wonderful stay at this home. We had six people and there was plenty of room. The house is very clean and had great lighting-loved the windows. In a very peaceful area and felt very secure. My husband liked the walking trail. Views were awesome and close enough to Bordeaux to pop in to see the sights.

Beautiful chalet with everything we needed. Jean Paul was friendly and helpful and around if we needed him. Would definitely go there again if we are in the area.

Our stay in Grignols was absolutely perfect - without a doubt the best Airbnb experience I have had. Nicolas was extremely responsive and helpful ahead of the trip, and Ludo also did everything he could whenever we needed something. The location itself is lovely and remote while you can still access the town should you need, and the property feels like real luxury with loads to do. Thanks so much Nicolas - we really appreciate it.

Excellent stay, with a beautiful terrace facing a beautiful landscape. Impeccable bedding. In short, we recommend this accommodation 200%. Just one small downside: no vegetable peeler! Lol!

We had a pleasant stay. Audrey was responsive and accepted our request to arrive early. The accommodation is functional and carefully decorated. It was raining, so we couldn't enjoy the terrace, but the view of the vineyards is beautiful. We would recommend this listing.

It was a wonderful weekend with Jean-Charles and Elodie! The Airbnb is like a beautiful moment suspended in a small paradise... inside a beautiful building renovated by Jean-Charles with a sense of respect for the history of the place and a way between tradition and modernity, in the middle of nature. We had a great time!

I stayed three nights with our others, who were very welcoming and precise, the accommodation is very well maintained, the bedding is really comfortable. The place is impeccable, easy to park, small village, charming. Recommended

This is a lovely never home. Very comfortable for our group of 3 couples. It is beautifully decorated and very welcoming. We enjoyed the pool on our one sunny day and enjoyed sitting on patio all three days we were there. I will note that the grill provided is charcoal and and the briquettes were not provided- so if you want to grill outside plan ahead. However the applique ces were excellent including a 7 burner stove. So we just grilled inside!

Really enjoyed our short stay in a lovely place in a beautiful village. It was so peaceful and very handy for getting to Bordeaux.

My month-long stay went very well. Dominique was kind enough to print a document for me one day to save me from looking for a place to do it. The house was a very nice little cozy nest. I was also able to enjoy the pool on very hot days...

Very quiet, spacious, and comfortable vacation rental on a beautiful vineyard and winery, Château Perayne. The winery is family owned. They also live on the property (both families, the parents and also the son and his family). Parking is easy. Getting there is easy. We ordered the breakfast – delicious and served outside. We highly recommend the tour of their winery and wine tasting with Julius (son and winemaker). We had access to a private outside table with chairs and a gorgeous view of their vineyards. We used Château Perayne, Le Papillon as a base to explore Château de la Brède, Sauternes, Château de Roquetaillade, Château Fort de Rauzan, and to e-bike along the canal near Castets-en-Dorthe. We highly recommend Château Perayne, Le Papillon.

Very charming and utterly peaceful location.

We stayed here for our first family holiday with our 5 month old and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place for it. As others have mentioned, the property and grounds are even more beautiful than the photos suggest. The property had everything we could need. It was comfortable and beautifully decorated, with high quality finishes and furnishings. It really felt like a home from home. The hosts were kind enough to provide baby equipment too so everything was very easy for the 3 of us. Portets is lovely, with a bakery, pharmacy & supermarket, which was ideal for us as we cooked all our meals at the house. We didn’t have a car but managed with just these facilities nearby, as we were very happy just spending time by the pool & in the house. We also walked to one of the vineyards for a tour which was great. We particularly enjoyed the pool and the loungers, including the cabana which offered some shade. We would recommend this property without hesitation and can’t wait to return!
