Blackhorse Cabin

Quant little cabin nestled high enough in the mountain to view Mt Alice from the front porch and still close enough to the town of Seward. There is a queen bed and a futon. The love seat reclines also. There is a fire pit you are free to use and some bikes hang from the deck of the main house feel free to use those. The house is located up the mountain but the road can be heard from the cabin. The queen bed and twin futon are located in the same room. One guest complained the area was to small.

First of all...We are a retired military couple with one of the longest running nightly rentals in this area! We try very hard to make sure you have a great stay, and we feel our 4.9+ Star rating shows that! Now for the Bristol Bay Cabin….. This 1 bedroom, 1 bath cabin is perfect for a couple! There is a fully furnished kitchen, a full bath, queen bed with closet in the bedroom and leather couch with USB ports , wifi TV, and wifi provided.

We are located 8 minutes driving time north of Seward, and within walking distance, 8-10 minute walk to the lake or the Bear Lake trailhead, or the Salmon Weir, this is where the salmon come up the creek to spawn in Bear Lake. The Salmon are visible from May thru July.

This is a truly exceptional airbnb. The location is very convenient; close to both Exit Glacier and downtown Seward. The garage apartment is very private and peaceful. The host went above and beyond providing necessary amenities, including a very comfortable bed, luxurious towels and bedding, a nespresso machine with pods, snacks, water, and a homemade guidebook for the area. Communication was excellent and friendly. When I booked this there weren't any reviews and it was a new listing. I'm sure it'll quickly become quite popular and successful.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home just minutes from Seward. The location is peaceful yet super convenient for exploring the town and nearby attractions. One of the unique highlights was the weir just down the road, where we got to watch fish make their way upstream—such a cool and authentic Alaskan experience! The house itself is cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Our Superhost went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. If you’re visiting Seward, definitely take a cruise—it’s an incredible way to see glaciers, whales, sea lions, and the stunning coastline. This home is the perfect base for it all. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time at Teresa’s place!The location is very peaceful and only a short ride to town. The cabin has a very cozy feel with all the amenities you will need. The cabin is brand new, and decorated very nicely. Teresa was very responsive throughout our stay and very helpful. I highly recommend this place.

We loved our stay with Mark and DeAnna. Everything that mattered in a perfect stay was there. Their home delivered as promised. The amenities were unbelievable, communication could not be better, the beds really comfy, the location was perfect, and everything was easy. After a full day of exploring, the rental was the perfect place to come back to and relax. The home was super clean and well decorated, had all that you could need, comfortable beds and furniture as well as peaceful and gorgeous surroundings. Don’t miss out, we will definitely be back!
