Family-friendly holiday rentals in Bear Creek

We loved this little cabin, the only thing that stood out a little different than we were expecting was the “ocean front” aspect. We thought we were going to be staring at the coast from our doors. There was another building between us and the coast but it was still so close and accessible. The place was clean, close to Seward, and had a book full of local recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Would stay here again!

I would gladly return over and over. The views can't be beat. So much serenity and wildlife to see: seals, otters, eagles and Orcas! and we were only there a short time.

The Stoney Creek guesthouse was perfect for our family. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment so we could cook meals. The bedrooms were all comfortable. The electric fireplace was perfect. The best part of our stay was the sauna and hot tub right by the creek. They were perfect to relax in at the end of the day. It was also the perfect distance for all our activities in Seward.

My family came to visit me for the week. Spent the night at miller’s landing and they absolutely loved it. Place was clean and just as described. Enjoyed the fire pit that evening and watching sea otters on the water. Have stayed here several times before and will continue to come back

Simply put this is a fantastic place. The home is beautiful and a lot of thought has gone into the layout and amenities. The views out of the many picture style windows alone translate to 5 stars. The host is great - communicative and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and absolutely would return if we ever have the chance to do so again.

A perfect little place to stay that’s close to the ocean.

If your looking for a really cool spot, this is the place, off the grid but easily accessible, and packed with amenities, this is where to take in some of the rich history of the state, but without roughing it. Book this place, you will not be disappointed!

absolutely beautiful tiny home. it feels so much bigger than it is, in thanks mostly to incredibly tall ceilings! The design is awesome and makes good use of the space. the bathroom and shower are a luxury in Alaska, in fact the shower is larger than all the places I have lived in Alaska in 8 years! super comfy bed, which makes a huge difference in your day when traveling. last but not least... it is CLEAN, high standards over the top of Alaska standards of what clean is! Great hosts, I will be back

What a great place to check out Cooper Landing and the surrounding areas! Lorraine's property is quiet, clean and secluded. From sitting around the fire, on the deck at the princess lodge having drinks, swimming the dog in a sunny spot or just checking out the wood sculptures peppered throughout the property this place is Great!

Loved the fact that it has its own little garden section with fireplace and outside seating. This venue suited our needs well and we had a wonderful stay. Great amenities provided and thoughtful welcome with free bag of coffee included. There is a bedroom downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs that are set apart either side of an open section in the middle above where the living room is. They each have a half height wall that faces towards this middle void making it open plan, just something to consider if any of your party prefer privacy.

Nice Cabin! Cool Location and a nice Coffee Truck in front. We get a discount of coffee there for staying in this cabin. the cabin was clean and looks nice. thanks. we will be back at our next alaska holidays. greetings from north germany

Rebecca’s converted school bus was the perfect place to stay for an impromptu solstice weekend of hiking and music. The bed was soft and cosy, the living space surprisingly spacious and the bathroom clean and just a few steps away. Rebecca communicated well, welcomed my 2 dogs, was flexible and gracious when I found I’d left something behind.

This place was the perfect spot for our Cooper’s Landing stay. From the beautiful flowers when we first walked up to the fresh baked muffins and snacks waiting for us when we walked in. We loved having two separate sleeping areas for our family of four. The views are amazing and it’s hard to describe how lovely it was to sit out on the front porch and have coffee in the morning overlooking the river and mountains. Thank you for this respite!

This place was perfect for our fishing trip! Convenient location with parking close to the docks and near several restaurants. Our host was responsive and communicated with us as needed. We were pleased with our stay and the views from our windows!

As an Alaskan resident who frequents Seward a lot for work, coming down on a pleasure trip, Debra’s house is a wonderful stay, great Parking in a usually difficult town to find parking, walking distance to the best restaurants in town, and the house has beautiful decor with cute little items that symblize sewards quirky ness, with cute art work and furniture my kids spent the whole time running back and forth saying wow and pretty and fascinated with it all, plus in the opposite direction from the main drag which is only 2 block, it’s only 2 blocks to the beach with beautiful walking, so it’s a great all around place to stay to capture everything, plus it is very nice she’s already gotten deals with the local tour boats to get discounted passage on the best glacier site seeing tours which if you had a more then a couple people would pay for the cost of the stay

This was a great place for my family of 3 to stay for our night in Seward. Wonderful location, and a very communicative host!

Lyrissa's place was a nice combo of being close to town but feeling private. It was a beautiful place that was very well decorated and maintained with some fun, unique pieces. There were blinds and curtains on all the bedroom windows and fans. Google maps did give us some trouble in getting up the right driveway but someone came out and directed us before we even had a chance to get out of the car. We did also have problems with the bathroom door latching shut but she was both responsive through the app and it was taken care of by just talking to someone on property. This is definitely a basement apartment so there's not a whole lot of natural light and the kitchen is tiny. They did give us lots of snacks and fresh fruit which was amazing! All in all, this is a great place and the hosts are amazing. It is probably better for a family with kids but it definitely worked for our stay.

Unit was as pictured. Clean, easy access and parking was always available right in front of the building. Host was very responsive to texts.

This was the perfect place for us. The beds and pillows were absolutely perfect. Everything was well stocked. We HIGHLY recommend fishing with Jimmy! It was one of the best experiences of our entire trip.
