Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Bedford

The place was very organized and welcoming. It had everything we could need, it was in a very clean condition, and very well equipped. There was a guide with things to do and places for food. One thing to keep in mind is that there is an open roof so id recommend bringing eye masks. It was fun watching the wild life out the window.

Really nice suite and a great host. Abdul was very welcoming and a gracious host. The backyard is amazing and he offered my daughter use of the trampoline (which was a highlight for her). The space has all the amenities you would need including comfy beds and a luxurious shower. It was special to wake up to see deer wondering around the neighbourhood quietly. This is a peaceful oasis in a quiet neighbourhood but close to everything. Thank you, Abdul!

Very cozy place! It was right by the water with a beautiful view. Very convenient as well. We were about a 30 minutes drive from Downtown Halifax. Ashley was very responsive and helpful. Beautiful place and amazing host! I'd stay there again. :)

I do not have a lot of experience with Airbnb so I did know what to expect. This home and my interactions with the owner Deanna, exceeded my expectations. We needed a large place for our family as we where gathering for a sad event. We all fell in love with the house and Hubbards, any questions where responded with promptly. Deanna was always interested in helping and making our stay a positive one. I could not ask for a more gracious host and would love to stay here again. You can rent this home with complete confidence. If Airbnb ever needs an ambassador, Deanna could be it.

Coburn, I must say you and your family have put in a tremendous amount of work to create a space for yourselves and your guests. It felt like home, everything was well appointed and we didn’t lack for anything. Lots of style right down to your lovely collections, original wood beams with modern amenities. We enjoyed after our daily adventures coming home to deer grazing in the meadow or the resident mamma and baby porcupines. If we know of anyone travelling your way, we will suggest they check out Hubbards as place to stay. Thank you for the experience.

From the moment we walked into Jennifer’s home we felt so comfortable. The home is beautifully laid out and was very clean. It had everything we could have needed for our stay. Jennifer was so helpful with recommendations of things to do in the area and she was always very quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the Halifax area.

Was exactly what we wanted, outside of the hub bub but close enough to the city to do everything we wanted to do.

Victoria has created such a cozy and welcoming space with an absolutely gorgeous view. Everything is spotless and pristine, the bed was super comfortable, and she has provided all you need for a home away from home. We enjoyed meeting her very sociable chickens and were able to truly relax in between our runs into Halifax for fabulous food, and a quick trip to Peggy’s Cove. Although our stay was brief, we had a simply marvelous time. Thank you so much, Victoria!

We stayed for 6 months and it was absolutely wonderful! There were lots of beaches and trails nearby to take our dog. The views were amazing! We even saw a seal once! The apartment was beautiful as well, especially the kitchen (as someone who loves to cook and bake it was perfect!) It's the perfect distance from Halifax if you don't like the bustle of a city but still want to do some sightseeing if you don't mind driving a bit! Overall we loved every part of our stay :)

Excellent place to stay! Backyard area and hot tub is really nice. Place is clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this place and staying in the north end of Halifax.

We had such a wonderful stay. The property is so beautifully landscaped by Bruce and Leesa. You can see the love and care they put into it. The inside was no exception. It felt warm and inviting. Leesa and Bruce are wonderful people. Very friendly and put us at ease right away. Really really nice couple. Don't think twice about booking this place. You will not be disappointed. Jillian's spot is perfect for a short or long Halifax stay. Highly walkable to everything, incredibly clean with lovely decor, cozy vibes (with enough room to stretch out), and Jillian herself was super responsive and helpful. Honestly, couldn't have been any better!
