This beautiful two bedroom flat has some of the best views, looking over to Arran, Cumbrae, Wee Cumbrae and over to Bute and Argyll. The property has one en-suite shower room and a very large spacious bathroom with overhead shower. The kitchen, living room is open planned which just opens up the space and lets you enjoy the amazing views. This is a perfect getaway flat with 5 mins into town and the ferry over to Millport. With only 100 yards to the beach it really is in the perfect location.

My cottage is situated in the heart of the conservation village of Houston which boasts several good pubs and restaurants within a 2 minute walk. Only 10 minutes from Glasgow airport and 20 minutes to Glasgow city centre means it would suit both business persons or tourists alike. My place is ideal for those wishing to explore the Clyde coast and nearby islands of Bute, Cumbrae and Arran. In addition Loch Lomond is a mere thirty minutes drive away.

Dunlop is only 1/2 hour drive to some of Ayrshires top golf courses. The train takes less than 30 mins to Glasgow city centre. The village has a community pub, a community cafe(open Thursdays and Fridays for morning coffee and lunch. A newsagent, post office/ shop and an Artisan Bakery ( openThursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.) A new craft shop has also recently opened next door to our home. The nearest supermarket is 10 mins. drive away.

Small but lovely one bedroom first floor flat in the beautiful village of Lochwinnoch with views of Castle Semple Loch. My friend and I chose this cottage for a quiet getaway with our dogs and it was just what we hoped it would be. We were welcomed by Barbara and Graeme upon arrival and they were very kind and helpful if we had any queries at all. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. The views from the bedrooms were stunning and there were plenty walks nearby the property, which were especially lovely in the evening with the sunsets. It was the perfect scenic escape we needed. Thank you Barbara and Graeme (and Rosie the golden retriever of course!).

It truly was a lovely place to stay. Lots of super touches from the brilliant welcome pack, dog treats/covers to the toiletries. Bed was super comfy and kitchen well stocked with everything you need. Surroundings were beautiful and great dog walks from the Barn. We loved it so much we have booked again. Thanks so much Susan for a wonderful stay.

The cottage was beautiful, really quirky which is what attracted us in the first place, it lived up to all our expectations and more. We only stayed the one night but would happily have done more. It was a little tricky to find the but with the help of instructions from the host not too much bother. Bathroom and kitchen were spotlessly clean which is always high on our list and the welcome basket was a lovely touch. Thank you for a lovely stay.

For us it was a one-night stay only unfortunately… but if you get the chance to stay a bit longer, Joyce’s place has an amazing bow window that faces the sea and the coziest apartment ever: well-equipped, luminous, spacious. We did not have the time to explore around, but the check-in and check-out experiences were smoothless and Joyce, Lynsey and Blair were very friendly and kind. 100% would recommend!

We loved our stay here! The cabin was absolutely lovely, such a peaceful location. Really cosy on rainy days and even nicer when sunny. The hosts were really accommodating to a last minute change of plans we had. Lots to explore nearby and not far from the Trossachs as a base for exploring further.

Really enjoyed our stay, felt welcomed and the place was just as described. As a suggestion, it might be a good idea to instal a privacy screen/ divider between the host’s house and the hot tub. Felt private enough but would have been nice to have that extra comfort. Thank you, we will be back!
