Lovely apartment by the lake. We got up everyday with beautiful view of lake como by the window. Very calmed, not far from Villa del balbianello 6 minutes by car.

The apartment has an unbelievable view. The view out the front door will take your breath away. It's beautiful. The entire town is walkable and worth exploring. The train and ferry stations are also walking distance from the apartment, and we ended up using both for day trips to other lake cities. This is truly a magical location. We will forever remember having our morning coffee or pre-dinner wine on the lake, a mere 10 feet from our front door. Francesca and her mother were amazing, responsive, and helpful in every way. They left us a bottle of their family's wine as a welcome present. On our departure day, it was pouring rain, and they offered to drive us to the train station. So unexpected and kind. I would highly recommend this apartment and location. We'll visit again.

Emi was a gracious and attentive host and truly one of the best we’ve had. She went above and beyond by picking us up when the bus didn’t stop where expected, and personally drove us to the property. Her kindness and hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome. The property itself is beautiful, peaceful, and even more stunning than the photos suggest. It’s the perfect escape from the stress of city life. There is one restaurant and a small neighborhood market within walking distance. For guests without a car, this may be a consideration depending on your needs. A word of caution: the interior stairs can be slippery, especially when wearing socks. I unfortunately took a fall during our stay and was injured. I recommend using footwear with grip, such as water shoes, when indoors to help prevent accidents. Despite this, we had a wonderful stay, and Emi remains a 10/10 host.

Loved our stay. Truly a beautiful and quiet part of the lake. The flat was perfect for two and we loved being able to just step outside for a dip in the lake. Would highly recommend.

Very pleased with our stay. A wonderful location. Luca was so helpful in meeting us to escort us to the property as it is located in a no drive /traffic section. We could not ask for anything more. Luca was always helpful, answering our questions and helped us to manage parking. The property has the most beautiful views. We would highly recommend. What an incredible stay! Michele’s place has everything you need to feel at home, all in an amazing location. There are enough amenities nearby such as the convenience store and 2 restaurants/bars, along with bus stops and even the dock for ferries across the lake. Absolutely magical stay in Bellano! The view over Lake Como is breathtaking — truly panoramic — and rivals luxury hotels at a fraction of the cost. Bellano is the perfect base: direct train from Milan (we were even picked up at the station by one of Giovanni’s lovely friends — what a luxurious and warm welcome!), ferries to Varenna, Bellagio & Menaggio, but far less crowded. We were so happy to retreat here after sightseeing. The town has several excellent restaurants within walking distance, and the apartment itself is full of charm, art, and character. Giovanni is an outstanding host — friendly, helpful, and even cooked us the best lasagna we’ve ever had as part of a delicious homemade 4-course meal. He also shared great tips for boat rentals and local dining. Every terrace and window has an unforgettable view. This place had high ratings and still exceeded our expectations. We didn’t want to leave and are already dreaming of returning. A true gem — can’t recommend enough!

Monica was very good communicating with us right from the start Check in was very straightforward and she even left us a bottle of Prosecco and water Monica is very thoughtful and her place was spotless and well furnished She responded very promptly to all our questions and offered great recommendations for transport , shops and restaurants Overall our stay was beyond our expectations and we are definitely coming back next year Hopefully by which time the C10 bus may be regular 😂 and on time !

The accommodation was really beautiful and partly really cutely furnished. Communication with the host worked out great. However, you should be aware that the path to the accommodation deviates greatly from a normal road. You drive about 20 minutes on very challenging roads. Those who love nature will be rewarded with absolute peace and a dreamlike environment.

The villa was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Giulio was a fantastic host: very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. His recommendations for local restaurants were spot-on and led us to some great meals. We also booked a boat ride through his boating company, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much for an incredible stay. The apartment is amazing, with beautiful views. Maurizio was a super helpful host and was really clear prior to booking about the building works next door. They didn't effect our stay at all in the 3 days there was barely any noise (i think most the major construction is complete anyway). Maurizio gave us some lovely recommendations and with a car it's really easy to get around. Would definitely recommend and love to come back!

This was the most unusual lodging I've ever been in on a road trip The house had everything I needed and more. My favorite spot is the upper terrace. I was lucky enough to spend a few evenings there, processing all the content for the day to the sound of birdsong. It's not easy to get here, but it's worth it. When you open the door of this house, it's like stepping into a fairy tale. Unforgettable experience, thank you!

They say that Bellagio is the jewel of lake como , i believe its Where you stay and also the host , I have been in different places with different and marvelous location but nothing comparable with a place that you feel comfortable in during your stay,and what even makes your stay beyond expectations is the host and i believe Deborah did really made things lovely and easy specially for someone that is not familiar with local customs or the location Simply one of the most beautiful experiences i’v ever had and strongly recommend the place as the photos does not do justice to the place trust me

Great studio, very clean and as described, a very well thought out space. Hosts have really thought of everything you might need. Great communication. Would recommend you consider the stairs and ceiling height if you are tall.

This apartment is well equipped and its position on the lake is amazing. The views are stunning . You actually cant wait to come home at the end of the day.Andrea very efficient and helpful...Great swimming pool, and area felt like our own The local shops are great to use slightly more expensive than supermarkets in town but easy to walk to. Wine shop is the best thing ever. You can sample wine before purchasing and its so cheap. Take your own bottle for refill..C10 bus route top of road ,either way is great. 6 mins to Menaggio. Other way is towards Colico. Nice place called Sa Vito kite surfing area and Colico was also nice and not so touristy .

Absolutely wonderful stay 😊 the flat and the views are absolutely gorgeous!! In a quieter area of lake Como, but it is an absolute gem. Still plenty of bars/restaurants within walking distance, and a little shop as well. There is a wonderful bar/cafe a 10 min walk down the lake front, which is the best place I’ve had my morning coffee. Musso will now be our base for future visits to Lake Como - there are few tourists but a 10 min drive to Menaggio where you can catch the ferry to Como, Bellagio and Varenna (among others). We didn’t go to Como, but Varenna and Bellagio were each a 15 min boat ride. Simone was extremely helpful with recommendations, and also when we extended our trip for a few days. You must catch the sunrise on the balcony - it is magical, as is the whole place! Plenty of parking, and a little beach right infront of the apartment. Cannot recommend enough, and we will be back.
