By bike there is about 5.5 km to the pedestrian street in Odense. From the house there are direct access to about 15 km of forest trails, which invite for walking, running or biking. Blommenslyst Golfklub is about 3 km from here by car and to Odense Eventyr Golf about 3.2 km by car. Thehouse is located independently at the back of the garden about 25 m2.

Our cozy and authentic B&B is located in a converted barn on our property. It's created from a desire to invite into a loving environment where every little detail has been thought out. Our B&B includes a lovely bedroom, bathroom and a large living room with a kitchen and living room. There is room for 4 overnight guests. In addition, there is access to a cozy courtyard with a long table and benches where you can enjoy your meals or a glass of wine. We want our B&B to be your home away from home.

Despite the proximity to Odense and the highway across Fyn, the annex 'Stærekassen' feels like a remote and hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. Enjoy the eagles gliding the skies, the heron fishing in the small lake, the many deer strolling the garden, the wealth of birds and the pheasant trying to impress the hens. Relax and enjoy the view over the soft hills and forest of Hesbjerg and be welcomed by our old and very gentle labrador Luna.
