Located in the heart of old town, close to restaurants and only a brief walk to Bishop’s beach. Each cozy cabin has all the amenities to make your stay comfortable! The cabin has been recently renovated with a new king sized bed and a pullout couch that fashions into a full sized bed. The couch is most suitable for children. So many adventures to await!

Drop in to nature's rhythm at this “DRY CABIN” at the edge of Beluga Slough and Bishop's Beach. This little slice of heaven is both private and centrally located in Old Town. An ideal spot for birding or watching beach, bay and mountains beyond. The adorable 12'x16' DRY CABIN has a half loft with queen bed, and 8'x12' covered porch. It also features kitchenette with sink (& limited running water), induction 2-burner and fridge. An incinerating toilet is steps away in a paired outbuilding.

This was perfect for our weekend getaway to Homer! The cottage is tucked away in a quiet, friendly neighborhood that is close to all things to-do in Homer, including the spit. It was extremely clean and comfortable, and Heather provided easy instructions for check-in and out. Would love to stay here again on our next visit to Homer!

The Retreat at Kachemak Bay

I’m not saying this is the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in… but I did consider changing my name and starting a new life there. The attention to detail? Criminally perfect. Nothing was out of place. The kitchen utensils were arranged like a tiny, beautiful cult. The furniture matched like it was genetically engineered to be together. It smelled like fresh linen and high credit scores. And then - a towel warmer. A TOWEL WARMER. I’ve been drying off like a peasant my whole life. I’ve never been so personally attacked by luxury. And - get this - earplugs on the nightstand. EARPLUGS. Like the host knew I’d be sharing a bed with a man who snores like a tractor on its final breath. That’s not hospitality - that’s witchcraft. This Airbnb didn’t just raise the bar. It launched it into the stratosphere.

Good place, nice peaceful energy and clean environment. Shower popped off, with two shower heads and super hot water. The only thing we didn’t love was having to walk so far to the bathroom (and that the bathroom was cold) but it’s worth the price and location. Owner was responsive and friendly. WiFi was decent. Really nice simple white decor
