We really enjoyed our stay at Maree’s place! It was a cute and cozy house—perfect for a peaceful bush getaway. The property was very quiet, and we loved the surprise of seeing kangaroos roaming around each day. It’s only about 20 minutes from Bendigo CBD, which made for an easy day trip. We loved our stay here. The house is gorgeous and was perfect for an autumn getaway in the country. Elizabeth has thought of everything; from the decorations and styling of the house to the thoughtful breakfast provided. We loved sitting by the fire playing board games and seeing the cows and sheep roaming past. The beds were so comfy and well equipped for a cold night. We would love to come back here and would recommend it to everyone. Elizabeth was easy to communicate with and very accomodating and kind.

A fantastic house with an even better location, we loved staying here. It was very warm, comfortable and the hosts left a beautiful selection of breakfast foods for us. It wouldn't be the best if you had to work from there, as the wifi is very old school. The fact that it's pet friendly is absolutely amazing. Thank you for having us.

A very comfortable house that was very well equipped. The bed and linen was excellent. The house was in a good location and although very near a roundabout there was very minimal traffic noise. Would highly recommend to anyone who is visiting Bendigo.

Welcome homely feel. Well appointed. Very responsive. Delicious, generous platter upon arrival plus heating and lights on. Much appreciated on a wet, cold winters night. We enjoyed our stay over the long weekend.

Clevedon Cottage was a cosy, beautiful cottage conveniently located within walking distance to everything we wanted to see in Castlemaine. Considering we stayed on the long weekend in June when the Jazz festival was on in town, it was priced exceptionally well, and had a lot of thoughtful touches inside that you wouldn't get elsewhere. I highly recommend for anyone planning a short stay in Castlemaine.

My wife and I walked into this beautiful, spacious apartment and both went “wow!”. Spotlessly clean and tidy, beautifully renovated and decorated and so comfortable and cosy. We stayed for the weekend of the Ballarat Marathon for which it was in a perfect location to walk to the start line with ease. A beautiful cafe 100m away was perfect for us as was an easy walk to the shopping precinct. This place is perfect in every way and I would not hesitate to recommend it or book it again.

We had a truly wonderful weekend, this house worked beautifully for us, we were in Bendigo for our son's wedding and our whole family were able to stay together along with our son's groomsmen and their partners. The house was really well equipped with basic supplies and we loved enjoying the home grown eggs from the hen's in the backyard, very special. The location was perfect for walking around town, going to restaurants and cafes as well as the cathedral! Our son and his groomsmen had a lovely morning getting ready together with lots of photos and memories captured inside and in the garden. Thank you very much Chris, it was fabulous staying your home.
