We had a fantastic stay in The Bield. It's just as described, very clean and comfortable. Great location, with easy access to local amenities. Highly recommended!

Robbie is a fantastic host. We travelled nearly 7hrs to get to the location and I asked him if it would be possible to check in early. He was so so flexible and couldn’t do enough for us. We were able to check in at 12 which really really helped us out. The lodge is in a great location if you enjoy walking or exploring. You have a beach nearby as well as loads of walks. We went for dinner in Dunoon at the 51st state which was very nice! I also left my jacket at Robbie’s lodge and he has been kind enough to return it to me. Lovely place to explore… thank you

Lovely spacious house, plenty of amenities, clean bedding & towels, well stocked kitchen utensils etc, Beautiful private enclosed garden however it does share a boundary with neighbours, so just note if you take dogs as the neighbours do have one, didn’t cause any problems for us but just in case your dog has any issues with other dogs, best to note as it’s only a low wire fence at the boundary. Would have no issues recommending a stay here but top tip, take midge repellents as the wee beasties are out in force

We had a lovely stay in Dunoon, it is a very quiet a peaceful place and we really enjoyed our stay. Paddy is friendly and helpful and her dog is beautiful and very sweet. Both beds were very comfortable, the shower was warm and powerful and the homemade bread was a great touch- we thoroughly enjoyed! Thank you again :)
