This is a fabulous place!! The cabin was spotlessly clean and cozy, the lake was peaceful, we spent a lot of time out on the kayaks. The hot tub was perfect for when it got dark and started to cool off. We'll be going back for sure : )

The place is right on a heavily used road. When you are out back you cannot hear the traffic but when you are in the living room you can hear a lot of trucks go by. We got use to it after being there for a day or two but just to let people know. Other wise the hot tub was relaxing and enjoyable. We had a little bit of snow so that was pretty too. Was a very homey place and would definitely stay again. We love places where our dogs are welcomed and they enjoyed themselves as well.

It was great! We loved the space and the privacy we had :) Me and my friends were able to spend amazing quality time together.

Beautiful home. Quiet and peaceful. Just as described. We were in town for a wedding at the Beach Club, and the location was incredibly convenient. The home was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our stay. Would definitely stay again if we’re back in the area!

We loved our stay at Chris and Rachel's Beechwood cabin! It was exactly what we were looking for - cozy and relaxing while being close to amazing state parks and trails; only 30 mins to Ricketts Glen and 10 mins to Worlds End State Park. Also Dutchman Falls is only 5 minutes away, and it's also beautiful. It was so nice to come back to this place and soak in the hot tub and the cozy fireplace. It even snowed while we were there which made it all the more cozy. They were such friendly, responsive and helpful hosts too. We highly recommend staying at Chris and Rachel's place if you're planning to visit Ricketts Glen and Worlds End State Park.

Unfortunately due to a family emergency I had to leave before even spending the night. still its such a beautiful cabin in a great area! can't wait to visit again.

Wonderful place to stay! If you are looking to stay off the beaten trail and enjoy a quiet time away, this is the place for you! We enjoyed spending every night in the hot tub and relaxing with the TV. Even though it rained most of our trip, the house was well-stocked with games and music. We loved playing pool together at night! The little Nespresso coffee bar was amazing! Would definitely recommend bringing a four-wheel drive vehicle to get to the house, and ensure that you get there while it is still light outside (at least the first time). It was very easy to get to downtown Jim Thorpe to enjoy all it has to offer. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone that wants to visit Jim Thorpe or even just to have a quaint, intimate weekend getaway!

The house was perfect for our family, which included a toddler and a 2 month old baby for the weekend. Unfortunately it was a rainy weekend so we couldn’t enjoy the deck and the awesome views very much. We would stay here again!

Cami’s cabin in the beautiful mountains of North Pennsylvania was THE perfect place for our family get together! EVERYTHING we needed was provided, even a lot of firewood for the solo pit on the deck. Great place to gather and catch up with family we haven’t seen for several years. Thank you Cami and Chad for helping to make memories that last a lifetime ❤️.

Comfortable and tidy in a safe, peaceful location.

Our time at the Cabin in the Trees was incredible!! I stayed there with two of my best friends for a little girls trip, and we had the most precious time. Jeffrey and property manager Chad were not only responsive - they were friendly and cared about us having a great stay. The patio especially perfect, from late night fireside wine chats, to early morning coffee and yoga sessions. Thank you Jeffrey and Chad!

Our stay was totally peaceful and serene. Gorgeous cabin and beautiful yard. Deer were as curious about us as we were about them. Wonderful little town with lots of hiking and scenic vistas. A real hometown feeling! Karen was outstanding and we had a carefree fabulous stay! We will be back!!!

We had a lovely stay at Tom’s place! It’s tucked away in a beautiful, quiet, very private location. Great porch, great fire pit. Tom was responsive and helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a rural area.

We were lucky enough to book this beautiful lakefront cabin for our wedding weekend at The Lakeside Ballroom, and it was everything we hoped for and more! My bridesmaids and I got ready here — hair, makeup, the whole thing — and then spent the rest of the weekend relaxing and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The space is absolutely breathtaking and incredibly cozy — truly the perfect lake home getaway. It exceeded all of our expectations, and we still can’t believe a gem like this exists right in our own backyard. We’re already looking forward to booking another weekend soon. We loved every minute of it!

This is our 2nd time at this home. So spacious and has everything we needed. They have a fire pit and firewood which was great for family to hang out every night. Its private location is great, yet close enough to towns and stores. We absolutely love this airbnb home.

Booked the cottage as a surprise to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. We both had a wonderful time. You can tell Sean and his wife put a lot of care into curating the space. One of my highlights was the wood-burning stove; my girlfriend loved the natural light and how peaceful the property was overall. The local guidebook Sean and his wife put provided did not disappoint. After checking in Friday evening we drove up the road to Four Blooms for dinner. The Loaded Pretzel Bites were incredible. Saturday afternoon we drove out to Hickory Run State Park to hike the Shades of Death Trail which provided beautiful vistas and a pervasive sense of restorative calm. Saturday evening I booked us a dinner reservation at Powerhouse Eatery. It was really interesting to read about the history of the place and we were impressed with the food as well. The Peanut Butter Pie and Espresso Martini were excellent. Clean up and check out were a breeze. Very glad to have visited. TLDR: Book it!

We were in the area for a two day fishing trip on the Lehigh river. Location was perfect. The space was great! Communication and check in was seamless. The cabin was equipped with all the amenities you could think of. Very comfortable and peaceful. would not hesitate to book again. Thanks again !

We had a great stay! The place was very clean, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed. It was comfortable, cozy, and just as described. We had a lot of fun and really enjoyed our time there. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay for the World's End 100K race that me and my friend ran in over the May 31 weekend. We did not realize that the half bath was upstairs with the bedrooms and it was only a toilet. That was a misreading on our part. It ended up working out but just know that the full bathroom (that's super nice and updated) is all the way down on the lower level. But we made it work and the house was awesome... if the weather had been nicer we would have been able to enjoy the fire pit and the S'mores Kit they put together for us. Would definitely stay there again!

Thirteen of us stayed at Lake Akela Lodge for three nights and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. The expansive grounds are well maintained, and the view is breathtaking. The interior layout is clever, with two bathrooms on each floor and at least one window in every single room in the home. It was easy to gather together for conversation, meals and games, but equally as simple to spread out when a little solitude was in order. We enjoyed the comfortable mattresses, nights around the fire pit, barbecuing, kayaking, the porch swing and rocking chairs, catch and release fishing, and the peace, beauty, and serenity. Host Jessica and Cohost Jason were always kind and very responsive. This is a special property - a hidden gem of sorts - and we would definitely love to return.

Highly recommend staying at Andy and Melanie’s cozy cabin! The cabin is clean and has everything you could need. The property is so serene. We really enjoyed the back porch and the creek. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. We also visited Knoebels which was only 30 minutes away. I had to reach out to Andy and Melanie about the toilet seat and they promptly came and took care of it. The cabin is lovely and they are great hosts.
