Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Bergamo

We had the most wonderful stay at Paola and Gianni’s beautiful Airbnb in Lake Como. The apartment itself is charming and rustic with the most gorgeous view of the lake - we never got tired of waking up to it. Every morning, Paola prepared the most delicious homemade breakfast, which made our days start on such a cosy, thoughtful note. What really made our stay extra special though, was Paola and Gianni themselves. They are the kindest couple - so warm and welcoming - and truly couldn’t have done more to make us feel at home. They picked us up from Como station for a very reasonable fee when we arrived and dropped us off again at the end, which was such a huge help and so appreciated. We left feeling like we’d been looked after by old friends. I honestly couldn’t recommend staying here more - it’s a magical little spot run by the loveliest people.

We were very warmly welcomed and felt right at home. The atmosphere is very familiar and warm. The room is clean and leaves nothing to be desired. Breakfast is varied and sufficient. The view is a 10/10

Fabulous stay, highly recommend these hosts and their place. Luisa was very proactive with us and responded to every question, even being able to pick us up from the bus station and drop us back on return. The accommodation is so clean and organised and has every utensil in the kitchen you will ever need. There is plenty of space and comfy seats, two tv's if you need them. Our hosts left snacks, water and wine for us which was very welcome. There is a choice of balconies to decide to have breakfast or a drink on. We loved our stay here.

A beautiful place to spend a few nights. Waking up with lake views from 80/90meters above the water is amazing. Costanza and her husband Angelo are lovely hosts, making us feel at home right away.

Our stay at Marco's apartment was great! The apartment was very clean, tidy, and pleasant, just as advertised. Check in was flexible and convenient, and also at check out Marco made an effort to come towards us as much as he could. Marco himself was available, friendly and patient, and helped us with everything we wanted – even ordering pizza for us and recommended us an excellent cocktail bar that was exactly to our liking! Unfortunately, he was on vacation, so we didn't meet him in person, nor did we get the massage he usually offers to guests. Instead, his lovely parents welcomed us – even though they don't speak English, they welcomed us with a huge smile, with a big heart and a real willingness to communicate and help, which was very exciting. The surroundings of the apartment were picturesque, quiet and relaxed, with a lovely view of the lake and a sense of nature. There's a supermarket within walking distance and a train station, and it's very convenient. We chose to arrive by car, and it definitely gave us freedom of movement and flexibility, but you can definitely get by without a car – depending on your travel style. In conclusion – warm, personal and pleasant hosting, in an apartment that offers real tranquility. I highly recommend it!

Amazing property, amazing view, would definitely visit again!

The Nest on the Lake was the loveliest little lakeside inn! The owners are extremely kind and the access to the little beach was wonderful to have. Ferry boats and bus stops within 12 min walk of the inn, which was great. Two markets close by, a few fantastic restaurants within in walking distance, and the most gorgeous views of Lake Como! We would highly recommend this place for anyone coming to Lake Como for the first or 100th time!

I really liked my stay here. Claudia and her husband were very friendly and helpful. They came to meet me when I checked it, helped me carry my heavy luggage upstarts and bring it down when I checked out. Their home is very clean, well decorated, breakfast is very good. The location is also very friendly, I can walk to the train station. All in all I love it! Highly recommend!

Very nice place and super nice host!

Lesia is a great host, she was very flexible when I asked her to change the appointment of the breakfast or when I arrived late. From Lesia's home Lecco is reachable easily by a local bus. Balcony and livingroom provide great place to have some rest after a day trip. I recommend her home!

Antonio was the nicest host. He picked me up from the airport and dropped me at my destination the next day after a nice tour by the lake. He even offered me breakfast and a delicious coffee. Communication and check-in was smooth, I was provided with clear instructions before arrival. The room was clean and tidy, and the location ideal to explore the city -20 min walk to Città Alta If you are in good shape. Highly recommended!

It was my first time sharing common areas (kitchen and courtyard), and it was great! Doris and her husband are there for all needs (logistical, tourist and other advice). I even shared with them a bike ride to Bergamo Alta (a very good time of conviviality); One morning, I shared breakfast with an Italian family and it was a very good time again!!! The nights are quiet, everything is clean and in place, and above all, Doris and her husband are very kind, friendly and really appreciable. I have already advised friends to book WITH DORIS.

Paola is a very friendly and talkative hostess, with whom you can have a great conversation. She greeted and said goodbye to us, also made us our desired breakfast with fresh pastries, tea and coffee and gave us tips for excursions. The room is small but has everything you need, the air conditioning has been a big plus, as well as the private parking on the property. The spiral staircase that leads to the room is a bit narrow and steep, so it is better not to take too large suitcases. Too bad we could only stay one night - we'd love to come back.

We don’t have enough words to describe how incredible this B&B is. From the stunning lake view and peaceful garden to the beautifully designed room with a spacious bathroom. Every detail was perfect! It’s easily the best B&B we’ve ever stayed in. The location is also great, just a short walk to the center. My husband and I originally planned to only visit the lake como triangle, but on our first day we ended up staying in Lierna… and wow, what a surprise! It’s calm, authentic, and free of tourist crowds. We truly fell in love with it. And most importantly: Laura. She is truly the best host we’ve ever met. She’s so kind and thoughtful. She helped us with everything we needed and always made us feel completely at home. Her care and generosity made our stay even more special. If we could give 6 stars, we would. Highly, highly recommended!

Beautiful to us very well maintained property in a quiet and safe place - only 20 minutes away from the city of Bergamo. Brilliant interior design and well thought out and individually designed rooms. The host was very friendly and attentive.

We stayed for one night at Paola's place after spending a day at the thermal baths of San Pellegrino. The place was clean, heated, and cozy. We had a great night's sleep and a really spectacular view the next day. I recommend it warmly

I stayed at Paula’s listing for 6 nights with 3 children. The place is lovely and clean and has all amenities needed within a B&B. It was approx 10 mins walk from the train station and 5 mins from a grocery shop. This was a great base to stay for visiting Milan, Monza, Como, Bergamo and others. The breakfast provided was excellent and having Wi-Fi was a plus point with the children. I would definitely recommend this listing for families who need a nice Northern Italian base.

Unbelievable! The place was brand new and the people were more than friendly. We were welcomed by two people that shows us everything they made us feel right at home and although it was already 10 o’clock in the evening, they even offered to cook us a meal. The room was immaculate and breakfast was amazing, this place is on my Airbnb shortlist as of now.

We had a great evening and night at Marco's place. We came by bus from Como. Marco was very welcoming and attentive! What a pleasure to be received by a local person with whom we can chat! The view is beautiful, the place very soothing and the accommodation very clean and functional. Thank you again Marco, we will not forget the smell of jasmine, your kindness and your humor!

My friend and I came to Maria's place for a change of schedule compared to a trip we had planned; we were greeted with kindness and immediately felt comfortable. The place was fantastic, the spa was the same and we got to relax and enjoy two very relaxing days.

It was a fantastic stay, the place is very clean and comfortable with everything needed. The view from the garden is superb and having a private parking inside a fenced area was another great benefit of staying here. I would definitely recommend it!
