Holiday rentals with breakfast in Bergen County

Rick is the most responsive and helpful host I have EVER encountered. He answered all of my questions, sent someone over at 10:30 at night to assist us with an issue (that was completely our fault) and gave us plenty of advice on local attractions. This is also the first place we have stayed where there was coffee provided, cereal, granola bars and fruit cups to get your day started. The place is beautiful and in such a peaceful place. If you have an opportunity to book this, don’t wait!

We had an unforgettable stay at this magical cabin! Izzy and Joe are amazing hosts—warm, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful. Check-in was seamless, and since late checking was requested by them , they kindly offered a late checkout, which we truly appreciated and made our departure more relaxed. The cabin itself is even better than the photos—beautifully decorated, full of natural light, and thoughtfully designed. The bedroom and sunroom with lake views quickly became our favorite cozy spots. The private island with its dreamy daybed swing and breathtaking lake views felt like a hidden paradise, and our dog loved roaming leash-free on the island. Everything in the cabin is intuitively organized, with smart controls for lighting, shades, and TV—managed via an iPad that also contains a well-designed digital guide. We’ve stayed at many cabins over the years, and this one stands out in every way. We’re already planning to return and make this special place an annual tradition

Bob's Place was perfect for our family of 3. We were very impressed by the cleanliness, aesthetic, and accommodations. We felt right at home and wish we could have stayed longer. We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival, the space seemed larger than in the photos. Bob was very attentive and quick to reply to any questions and/or needs. We would definitely stay again!

Our family stayed here for my son's West Point graduation. This was our second visit and we were thrilled to be back. This house is well taken care of, clean, and relaxing. It's close to the town of Cornwall, grocery stores, etc so you have access to what you need. The hosts are responsive, helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay at this peaceful, beautiful lake house. The hosts were great in all communication and prep for our stay. Very accommodating and sincere. Response times were fast and thoughtful. Beautiful home and peaceful, clean lake. Well organized kitchen and very nice bedrooms. Upfront instructions and check out was a super breeze (no pressure to do a ton of chores like other places). We stayed at Patrick’s place to attend an Army football game. Everything was perfect and easy. It’s really close to campus/post. It’s a nice little town and close to Cold Spring where we had lunch on Friday. Thanks for a great weekend.

Beautiful Airbnb! Very comfortable and pristine with amazing accommodations. Alex was very responsive with all questions I had. He also was able to accommodate me when I requested to have another day at Airbnb. Overall one of the best Airbnb’s that I’ve ever stayed at! 5 stars

It was really easy and smooth the whole check in process. The only thing is that the front desk receptionist ignored us for a while and was on her personal phone even though we were standing right in front of her. Someone else ended up coming and helping us check in but after that it was smooth sailing. When we checked out all we did was hand in our key and we left. Me and my husband will most definitely be coming back here more often whenever we need to stay in Jersey!

Very nice cozy place, nice neighborhood near branch brook park (the one with all the cherry blossoms in April). Inside of home is very nice and clean. Bathroom was great and tv in room was appreciated. Thanks!

From the moment we booked the Airbnb & arrived, to the moment we checked out and landed back at home, our hosts were excellent to us. Our hosts picked me and my mother up from Newark Airport and dropped us back off. Upon arrival of the Airbnb, we were given a tour of their beautiful home. The hosts gave us tips to get around the city, an endless list of things to do and showed us where the 6 train station was, which was only a couple minute walk. My mother and I went for the Puerto Rican Day Parade 🇵🇷 and for the festival, and our hosts gave us tips when/how to get there and other activities to do that were related. We absolutely loved our stay. They made us feel right at home and like family. They brought us sourdough bread, eggs, and oat milk the day of arrival; such a sweet couple! We felt safe even walking back late at night. To some it may be intimidating at first but we never had a bad experience! 10/10 experience. Had everything we needed & was sparkling clean! Will be bac

A cozy room with an amazing host, it was the last minute booking, but I am so thankful for such a good communication. The location is really good, becaue it is close to the city and once you go outside you can enjoy a beautiful view of the river and at night time it is even more magical!

We have been thinking, if we should pay a little more for this accomodation and now we are so happy that we did ! The room is very cozy and bed is comfy and big. You have TV in the room available. Area is calm and very nice. There are several bus stops nearby (max 10min by walk). But the best of it was the host Marlene. She is so kind and helpful and very caring. When she had time, she made us some breakfest in the morning. There were always some things to eat in the fridge. Also, when my girlfriend was sick, she helped us with everything in her free time. We really recommend, you should go with this airbnb! :) Do not think about anything else.

Great placeto stay for a short trip to NYC- Manhatten. Don't expect to be in the best neighborhood, but its safe. We walked several times during midnight. Conviniently located besided 116th street subway to catch the train to downtown Manhatten. Grocery stores and pharmacies around in case if anything is needed.

The scenery was breathtaking. Definitely enjoyed our stay. We plan on doing it again in the near future.

Taz was extremely punctual with her communication and also understood my late arrival and very early departure. This was a great find and I will use again depending on my travel needs.

a wonderful cabin with a great ambience and very welcoming hosts. the fire, record player, breakfasts, birds in the morning, and more all make for a perfect stay.

My boyfriend and I LOVED our stay here! The land is such a peaceful, calm area to walk around. The room was so cozy with the fireplace and the bed was so comfortable. Denise was so lovely and our breakfast in the morning was incredible! We can't wait to come back and stay a weekend in the summer and/or fall.

David is welcoming and helpful; this is a great place to stay if you are needing to be in the vicinity (for me, visiting elder and getting some work done during parts of days). The room is cozy and clean, comfortable bed and good desk -- along with bits of friendly conversation, it suited me well. I'll be checking availability next time I'm back in the area.

This is the 3rd time we've stayed here and, once again, was the perfect place to stay. Close to Seton Hall and our kid's home but far enough away you don't have to deal with college kids craziness. Art and Libby were extremely accommodating, to the point that we were able to have an extra car on the property filled with our kid's belongings for the final move out

I was lucky enough to get a room here last minute and even more lucky to get the Amazon room. Super cosy. Main light brightens the room tremendously with pure bright white light. Also lamp with dimmer by the bed with usb ports was convenient and a nice touch. Love the blackout shades, got some really good sleep. The bed was very was heavenly and very big. The smart TV was exception quality also very big and seemed more so than the pics. Great space to move around in, lovely welcoming gifts. The continental breakfast was better than most hotels. I wanted to toast my cinnamon raisin bagel, I used the air fryer and forgot I had a toaster in the room😆 My only complaint is that it wasn’t available for more days after, really enjoyed my night there. Also the hosts were very responsive and quick to message me back everything I asked, so accommodating. Close distance to trains.

Ms King’s home was such a delight. The views a gorgeous, the wildlife very plentiful, and the home is pristine. I wish I had more time to enjoy time with the house, nature, and the host, Bien, who was so friendly. You can tell she loves the property, the animals, and servicing her guests to the best. When I’m back in town, I’ll be checking to see if there’s availability at Ms King’s home. The only place I want to stay at in Rockland Lake.
