Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bernese Highlands

I'm happy to have discovered this quiet oasis in the Vallamand vineyards. Naomi and Romain were there when I needed them but left enough privacy even though they live in the same house. The interaction was very pleasant. The studio is a perfect place for singles with a need for peace and quiet as well as for couples to experience a change of scenery while enjoying the most beautiful view of Lake Murten and the vineyard landscape. The patio is like in another world, the decor is simple but very atmospheric. A Denner is easily accessible nearby via a walk. I would love to come back another time because I feel like I'm born again after the stay. Thank you Naomi and Romain for the wonderful stay!

What a wonderful and peaceful experience it was to stay at Emanuel’s greenhouse. I only wish we had booked a longer stay. His offer (and accepted) to pick organic strawberries from inside the greenhouse was much appreciated.

We absolutely loved this place! The apartment was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The area was beautiful and quiet, just a few minutes walk to the lake. It was easy to drive to interlaken and surrounding areas with lots to do. We would definitely stay here again!

This home is in an outstanding location overlooking the lake and Lugano. We were blown away by the view from every window. The location was very peaceful, and the home was extremely well-stocked. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony or the covered deck every day (depending on how hot it was!). The home is located a quick drive to downtown Lugano, and a short drive to the top of Monte Bre (highly recommend!) and to Gandria (also highly recommend). We fell in love with Lugano and the surrounding area thanks in part to this house…we will definitely be back.

This place is amazing! Breathtaking views of the mountains. Very accessible to train, restaurants, and grocery store. At the same time, it was far enough away from the busy hotel area so that it was quiet and peaceful. We stayed for 5 days and used it as our base camp to explore the Interlaken area. The space is perfect for two people with everything we needed. We also appreciated access to a washer and dryer (small extra fee). Finally, Myriam and her family are genuinely friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others!

The studio is charming, the bedroom is burnt to the ground. The location is excellent (close to Mount Riggi). The studio is quiet, well-equipped, clean and quiet, and the landlady is very responsive. We enjoyed it very much.

What an incredible retreat! This Airbnb stands out as my favorite for a reason. The stunning location offered an unparalleled view, a true 10/10 that provided the most serene backdrop for my much-needed downtime. It was genuinely the perfect place to completely recharge. The Airbnb itself had everything I could possibly need, whether for a short getaway or a longer stay. Rudolf was a flawless host, full of invaluable local insights that made exploration even better. I particularly enjoyed the gorgeous hiking trails accessible right from the property and the lovely stroll into town. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

We stayed in the apartment for a week and enjoyed the stay. The location is great and you have so many options for activities, but also for shopping, etc. Communication was great, fast and helpful. We were able to check in very easily with clear instructions incl. Photos. Silvia and her family are also very hospitable and spontaneously invited us to coffee/lunch. Even when we came into the apartment, a little something was prepared. If we are in the area, we will definitely rent an Airbnb again via Silvia :)

This place is amazing! Perfect for our one day stay in Brienz, still comfortable even with a one year old. The views are to die for! This is the perfect location, you are next to the train station, the boat dock, and most importantly, the beautiful water! The place was so cute and cozy and clean. They have many dishes to use and anything else you may need kitchen wise. Everything was perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying at Denise’s beautiful home. The home itself and the surroundings were gorgeous. You can see the lake from the porch and mountains in every direction. Denise was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. She helped us order dinner and gave us nice advice. Its very easy to get to the towns around the lake and we definitely recommend staying here!

The host was warm, professional, and provided clear instructions for check-in, along with great local tips for hikes, restaurants, and sightseeing. We especially appreciated the welcome Swiss chocolate and a guidebook—it was such a thoughtful touch! The most beautiful accommodation with breathtaking views on our tour through Switzerland. The apartment is super clean and cozy and offers everything you need. From the accommodation, there are many excursion destinations that were easy to reach by car. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back again.

Heidi’s home and the views are truly breathtaking! Book this place, it’s worth every cent. Heidi was an amazing host, very thorough and has pictures explaining everything. The home was spotless. Entry is very secure as it has 2 entry points - look at her instructions carefully for self check in and you’ll be all set. The parking was spacious for our SUV rental. We couldn’t be more happy to have stayed here for our honeymoon. We will certainly be back!
