Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Bessas

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

We had a great little stay in Laurie and Jonathan's air-conditioned accommodation. Our dog also enjoyed the fenced outdoor area. Responsive, discreet, and caring hosts. Matches the listing. Recommended.

This is the third time we have come to the Mas de Blacholles and it is always a pleasure, charming little farmhouse in a small natural setting. Anne-Marie always responds quickly with a lot of kindness. We'll be happy to go back!

What a beautiful home and location. The house is in a cluster of stone homes in this spectacular hill town. Cobblestone paths, beautiful gardens and ancient architecture and history. Pierre was helpful in carting our suitcases through what looks like a Harry Potter village up to our very modern, comfortable house. A unique Provence experience.

A little corner of paradise nestled at the foot of a charming little hamlet! The house has a lot of character, large and bright rooms where nature is always present, bedding at the top of the top. A kitchen where it's nice to cook, very well equipped! Nature and pool side, it's just incredibly well arranged... at any time of the day there is a small cozy place waiting for you. The salt treatment of the pool is a real plus ;) Thank you to Caroline and Frédéric for their simple and authentic welcome. Lovely neighbors!!

We had a lovely stay with the family... The house is warm, very clean and very beautiful with a distant view of the Chauvet cave and the mountains. This house is a haven of peace and total relaxation. The host is very responsive and attentive. We highly recommend it.

An incredibly pleasant place, a peaceful and bright environment. It was a real pleasure to stay in Alexandre's house: the rooms are spacious and pleasant, the outside perfectly maintained and Alexandre's welcome perfect, knowing that he was able to be very flexible with the arrival time. The village is particularly welcoming and beautiful. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

This old converted water mill makes a lovely family house, perfect for all generations. It is isolated (no need to worry about children screaming in the swimming pool) and surrounded by beautiful countryside, with signed hiking trails in all directions. You can walk to the very attractive village of Lussan for an ice cream or drink, (but any sort of food shopping does mean a car journey.) Our group comprised grandparents, parents and three children (aged 3 to 8). The children loved the pool, the trampoline and the bikes. The adults enjoyed boules and molkii. (There's also table tennis and lots of board games.) Vincent, the owner, lives close by and we were amazed at how quickly and efficiently he came round to deal with any little problems.

Couldn’t have asked for a better house - ticked all the boxes and was conveniently close to Avignon without being in town. The house was spotless with all amenities thought about. Pool, loungers, outside dining was brilliant. Will definitely be back.

Great stay at Aeric and Caroline's! Incredible farmhouse in a typical Ardeche setting. Eric and his son were very nice and we would recommend this accommodation without hesitation. We loved it.

We had a great time at this beautiful place. The house is wonderfully embedded in nature. It's very quiet, you only hear the sound of nature, the creek, the animals. From there we had a lot of opportunity to hike with our dog. Banne and the surrounding places are wonderful for those who love hiking or scenery. It was very clean and mega nicely built and furnished. Anne was very kind and discreet, we were able to enjoy this privacy very much. The apartment is well-equipped and has everything you need. One of the best Airbnbs I've ever been to. The accommodation is superb, tastefully decorated and warm. I can only recommend it if you want to discover the Ardèche and stay in a spacious, cozy apartment, in which you feel really good. The village of Balazuc is beautiful, and you can walk to the beach in 10 minutes, we enjoyed it. Mary is a great host, responsive and thanks to her everything was easy and chill.

Excellent host and excellent property, Romain is very clear in his explanations. The few times we needed to exchange were perfect, very courteous and friendly, his accommodation was really as described, ideally located... I really don't regret it and in the future I think I'll ask Romain and his apartment again.

What a great stay we had with Didier and Sylvia!! It started with a warm welcome upon arrival. The accommodation is beyond words, for us a different world that we stepped into...so incredibly beautiful, clean and tidy. It is also special how Didier and Sylvia have given substance to this. You can see, notice and feel that there is love and passion in everything! Sylvia was able to recommend a number of gems for us to visit. The area is also incredibly beautiful, quiet. There are plenty of towns to visit in the area and the C4 restaurant is definitely recommended if you want to eat out. Here you can eat delicious pizzas at an affordable price.

We had a great stay in a beautiful house, very clean and surrounded by a nice garden. The location is ideal for exploring Labeaume and the dolmens on foot. Hélène, our hostess, was very welcoming, available and pleasant in our exchanges. We felt very welcome and recommend this accommodation with pleasure!

We were very well received by Gerard who is a warm, open and calm person that does good in a world where everything goes too fast. The place is splendid, ideal for relaxing and getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cottage is very nice, the bedding is superb and everything has been very well thought out. The place is isolated but the access to the river and hiking trails are wonderful! The small terrace is lovely!
